Always fresh. The staff is friendly. I would choose to eat at Crystal's daily if I could.

The food here was actually really great. Super flavorful food and the seafood in my soup was properly cooked. I loved what I ordered. Giving them two stars though because our service ended up being really bad and even a bit bizarre. First off I ordered a dirty martini, very clearly as to how I wanted it- just a classic martini, up, dirty and they brought me some bizarre martini that was like black and color and really gross. When I said that wasn't what I ordered they gave me some solid attitude and acted like I had three tits. Also, we got there at about 830 along with some other people from different parties. The business was said to close at 9 PM which in restaurant terms means that the final seating is immediately prior to 9 PM. We ordered very quickly and were also in a rush because we had to get back to our air bnb to sleep. Literally at 9 PM sharp they started coming over to our table and the table of the other guests in and asking us if we wanted to pay our bill. They didn't ask once they literally came over five times. Then once we had paid our bill, the started coming over trying to box up our food which we had just gotten. At this point it was 9:10 PM and there were still three parties in the restaurant including ourselves and halfway through their meal. They literally tried to take my plate off of the table while I was mid bite. They then continued to come back over and over again, once again about five times total over 5-10 minutes and every time literally tried to take my plate from me, mid bite. They were absolutely acting like we were a huge hassle as well as the other tables and literally stood there staring at us until we finished. Four people, just standing there staring as I ate my soup. Also, as they stood there staring I started noticing how many things (that are usually part of the closing cleaning tasks) were actually filthy. For example the windowsill in front of me was truly caked with years of grime. It felt surprising that I was being stared down to leave when really there seemed to be a lot of things that could be done in that time. We left at 9:20. I've been a chef for twelve years and it is common practice that the closing time of a restaurant signifies the time that orders must reach the kitchen. After that it is the responsibility of the waitstaff to give you time to eat once your food hits the table. Usually the "closer" leaves 1.5-2.5 hours after the closing time to allow for people to finish eating, then cleanup and then final register tasks. I loved my food but seriously, if these people expect to leave at 9pm then their restaurant should close at 7-7:30 pm. Also, side note, when you see people rushing that fiercely to leave, at the expense of the guest it make you wonder if other important nightly tasks are being rushed over like proper cleaning, food storage, etc. read more

I've been a long-standing customer (for years) but after tonight, I won't return. The food is good but the service is lacking. There was a 20-minute wait from when I got my food to when the other party got theirs. I was finished eating before others were served. One of the appetizers came out at the same time as the delayed food. Do better. read more

Small and cool place to grab a bite. We went during a busy night so the wait was about 30 min. Our server was great. I really liked the decor as well. The amount of food served was right for the price. Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this place, even the drinks were filled with a good amount of alcohol. I'm surprised they haven't expanded to a larger spacer but I guess it's comforting to be in the same space where you started. All in all I would definitely recommended dining here. read more

Crystal is an amazing chef. Her fusion food is like none other. Her traditional dishes are spot on delicious. The HUGE menu makes it a little difficult to decide sometimes. But over all it can please just about anyone that loves asian cuisine. My absolute favorite dish is the pad see yew with beef. She special orders the fresh wide, flat rice noodles. So many places out there don't take the time to source these noodles. Instead they use dried. So I am never angry nor disappointed when she occasionally runs out (only twice in over 2 years). If you've ever had fresh pasta as opposed to dried in an Italian restaurant, you'll understand what I mean. Other favorites, her cashew chicken. It is phenomenal! The balsamic vinegar in the dish reminds me of Chinese black vinegar. But it's used perfectly...not too acidic. Her Mongolian beef (I like mine with extra mushrooms and broccoli added) is soul satisfying. The pad Thai is spot on balanced and delicious with huge shrimp. Lastly, the curry laksa is thick and my type of comfort food on a rainy day. I could go on and on, but I digress. My advice, go there and talk to her. She is very humble and friendly, yet passionate about her craft. Tell her what flavors or ingredients you like and let her suggest something new to try. I've been a chef for over 25 years. And I can usually figure out how many dishes are created and with what flavor profiles. I don't know how she comes up with her brilliant fusion ideas. Having trouble giving this place the right number of stars, but figured I'd be generous. First off the pad Thai was delicious which is why I'm pushing this into 5 star category. But my second reason for the high star rating is due to it being in this small essentially "middle of nowhere" town. Very unexpected in getting such quality Thai food in deep suburbs of Boston. That all being said, their peanut sauce (another Thai food staple) is good but misses the mark. I believe it's the lack of sambal spice that I'm missing. Otherwise the fried apps are decent. The quality of the chicken satay is good, but again a bit light on the flavor. And despite searching the menu I couldn't find Pad Ka Pow (spicy minced chicken with basil). Now I did see basil chicken, but the pictures seem to show strips of chicken. I also must say I'm happy to see the Malaysian food in the menu. But it seems that could be more prevalent. Finally, I didn't try any of the sushi, but my wife has and she advised against it. She said they use too much rice. Now after typing all this, I'm considering only going 4 stars. But I'll definitely give the place a few more tries and update as needed. Enjoy! read more

I am a serious critic when it comes to Thai food and I was blown away with the quality of food and service at Crystal's Kitchen! We went a little out of our way to eat there and it was well worth it. We ordered the tofu vegetable fritter which was good, but the appetizer that I would definitely go back for, was the crazy roll! It is like one of the most delicious nime chows you will ever have, lightly panko breaded and deep fried. It is served with a nice sweet cucumber, mint sauce. I eat mostly vegetarian, with a little bit if seafood, because I know that it's pretty unavoidable when you are as addicted to Thai food as I am. Our server, Kelly, was so awesome and gave us a few suggestions which I appreciated. I absolutely love, LOVE flat, wide rice noodles! The dish we had was the Hong Kong Stir Fried Beef Noodle dish without the beef and with assorted stir fried veggies & tofu!! The meals flavorful and a delight to look at. Entrees were Basil Seafood and Massaman Curry; appetizers were Chicken Larb and Dumpling Combo. This place is amazing. I wish there were 10 stars for it. One of my favorite takeout places of all time. Let's start with the menu. I am a noodle person and I have never seen so many choices in terms of stir fried noodles. Since covid my wife and I have switched off choosing where to go for takeout and I have been choosing this place every single time it's been my turn because since discovering it because I am working my way through the noodle menu and everything I've tried is amazing. I had to do the chiang rai pad thai twice because it's one of the greatest things I've ever tasted. As other reviews have said everything here is fresh and high quality. Once I get through the noodles I'll start working my way through the curry. The apps are good too. Normally I look for the spiciest thing on the menu but another awesome thing about this place is that no matter what you get you can choose your level of spiciness from 1 to 5. I always go for 5 and it is actually legitimately spicy in a way you rarely can find at a restaurant. The service is great. They are really friendly on the phone and when you go in, sometimes making recommendations for things like sauce/appetizer combos, etc. I really appreciate that they are doing curbside right now during COVID. Not every place still does it and it's good to see somewhere that's taking safety seriously. On top of that it's right next to a pretty decent liquor store which makes it a great stop for Friday night takeout to ring in the weekend. Do yourself a favor and go here. read more

One of my last meals on earth would be Pad Thai, so that means I love Thai food and this place is awesome! Everything is great here, which included the service, food and drinks and prices. Only issue is the parking is horrendous, but it's in a plaza with 3 other businesses so it's understandable but this place definitely needs to get its own location and with all the customers they get that shouldn't be a problem eventually. read more

Ok. So. My buddies love this place. The taste, the presentation,everything. I think most people who like Asian food, will like Crystal's. My tastes run vegan, low sodium, and no added sweeteners. The food tasted highly flavored with both sodium and sweetener. I don't know absolutely what the ingredients were, but that's what it tasted like to me. Unfortunately, after years of my family getting take out orders on the weekend from here, that will come to an end. Today, my sister and I placed an order for shrimp tempura. What she wanted was the sushi, and there was a misunderstanding between her and the woman who took her order. she received the appetizer, which is just a few pieces of fried shrimp on a bed of lettuce. We noticed the order while right outside, so we came right back in and asked to return it due to the mistake. Although the sign right in front of the register states "please being back full order for full credit" which we did, we were told they can't refund or give us the correct order because "it's a loss to them". We've spent hundreds of dollars at this place as a family, and the fact that they checked with Crystal and even the owner wouldn't approve of the exchange is crazy. A $14 order couldn't be exchanged for the correct item. They're going to lose a lot more customers if they keep this up. I'll never be coming back. read more

This is a good place with a lot of options. I've been twice and have gotten the drunken noodles with chicken combo twice. Love the amount of spice and also love what comes with the combo. The menu seems a bit unfocused however, it seems like it's all over the place that if they focused it a bit more it'd be better. But I'm definitely planning to be a regular here! read more

I really can't say enough about Crystal's. I come here pretty regularly with my husband and never had a dish we didn't like. I love that you can add a cup of soup and mini appetizer for only $2.95! The Crab Rangoon is made purse style and seasoned perfectly. They have more flavor to them than just crab and cream cheese. Veggie tofu soup is loaded with yummy cabbage, carrot, and mushroom and the broth is delicious. The staff is awesome too. Crystal is a wonderfully nice, funny lady. Kelly always remembers us, she not only know us by name but also never fails to compliment a new hair cut or style. Love her! Rating out of 10: 8 It's amazing how a place can be on my "to try" list for years, and yet somehow I never make it. I finally rectified this mistake by eating dinner at Crystal's, and I am left kicking myself as to why I waited so long! Crystal's is an interesting hybrid of multiple types of Asian cuisine, and they understand both how to prepare and present. I was with family, so we got a couple apps: Bangkok rolls and fried crab meat dumplings. Both were delicious. I decided I wanted both sushi and fried rice, so I tried the Titanic (the house roll) and the Nyonya Seafood Fried Rice. The sushi was good but not amazing. It had a good flavor and was presented well, but I have definitely had better sushi. The rice, on the other hand, was spectacular. I picked this one purposely since I had never had anything like it before, and the spiciness along with the variety of seafood and various seasonings was quite pleasing to the palate. It was quite filling, and needless to say I was very happy with it. I also quite enjoyed the Thai Iced Tea. It had a great flavor with the right amount of cream. Amazing little place! Plenty of parking, the service was out of this world and the food omg!!! To start we had the catapillar and titanic sushi rolls. Wow catapillar was on point. So the kids said. We had the red salmon curry lamb curry drunken noodles and pho. For dessert we shared a bread pudding and fried ice cream. I almost forgot the mango Thai tea and mai Thai.
