Good, tasty food though the service can be a little slower during rush-hour lunch time. The proprietress is alone and she does everything (waitress, bus tables, cashier) etc. Convenient location with plenty of parking and close to other shops in the same complex, so you can do all your errands at once.

    Garlicy greens with chicken

Hole in the wall of a strip mall with good food. This is not a fancy restaurant - lighting is dark and it isn't decorated. But the food is good. We got the garlicy greens with chicken and the shrimp, pork, and sausage fried rice. The portions were large for the price. Service was minimal and had to ask for water refills and hot sauce. But we will come back since we enjoyed our meal.

I ordered Grilled Beef Short Ribs and Garlic/Pepper Fried Wings. Both were delicious.

Ok, a bit torn on this review. The meat was very flavorful. My dish had grilled marinated lemon grass chicken, vermicelli, lettuce, mints, cilantro, cucumber topped with scallion oil and fried shallot. Choice of egg roll or grilled shrimp. I want with the egg roll. I'm not going to pull your leg but the egg roll was the size of my pointer finger and the width of a sharpie pen. Not much to it and at first I had to study it to see what it was. The taste gave it away . Next, the noodles. Bland, bland, and even more bland. Absolutely not a lick of flavors so that was very disappointing. The meat itself was very good and had that grilled marinated flavor, but the flavor wasn't anywhere near lemongrass. More like Hawaiian marinade (which I like so it wasn't bad). The salad was delicious with the shallot and fish oil poured on it (I'm guessing that was what I was supposed to use it for as there was no other dressing). I also poured that oil on my noodles to try and add some flavor....Didn't work. Overall, my meat was delicious and my salad was fresh.

The process is simple: order at the counter, grab your own utensils and water, and then they'll seat you. I ordered the papaya salad and the beef pho. The portions were very generous, and both dishes were delicious. The beef in the pho was sliced a little thicker than I expected, but there was plenty of it, and the broth was flavorful. The papaya salad was the standout--fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. I highly recommend ordering it. The restaurant also has a cool, funky vibe that adds to the experience. An order of spring rolls were also ordered, but wasn't in the photo. It was ordered with crispy pork belly. Based on some reviews, I was skeptical about ordering the pork belly, but I was pleasantly surprised. The skin was very crispy and you could hear the crunch from across the restaurant. I ordered through DoorDash and went with the Vegan Pho and salad rolls. On the positive side, they were generous with the tofu, which is more than I can say for a lot of restaurants. Unfortunately, both dishes seemed to have the same secret ingredient: salt. And then a little more salt. The pho broth was already pretty salty when it arrived, but somehow managed to become even saltier overnight. By breakfast the next morning, I was pretty sure it could have been used to preserve historical artifacts. The salad rolls were packed with tofu, which I appreciated, but whatever marinade was used had enough sodium that my old horse Mika probably would've mistaken it for a salt lick. To be fair, my Pescatarian mom and Omni husband both enjoyed their shrimp rolls, so not everything was a miss. Overall, the food was edible and filling, but the heavy hand with the salt kept me from fully enjoying it.

Steamed broccoli was a fresh addition, and the side broth hit the spot. * The Pork Chops with Shredded Pork Skin (Bì) & Egg Meatloaf (Chả Trứng) plate was decent, though a bit average compared to other spots nearby. The flavors were fine, but nothing particularly stood out. * Noodle Soup: The spicy beef noodle soup had a rich, deep color and a generous amount of fresh herbs and onions, though the broth lacked a bit of the punch and depth of flavor I was hoping for.
