Updating my review, great service, friendly owners, and love the place since it was remodeled a few years ago. Delicious Authentic Cuban food and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely come here for a nice downtown Orlando lunch, it's a hidden gem.

Delicious food! Very reasonably priced! I ordered through grub hub and it was ready quickly! I got frejoles necrosis and ultimate Cuban sandwich for around $20! The reason for a reduction of a star is that I ordered a large frijoles negros (black bean soup) that was supposed to come with white rice and there was no white rice in my order. I think that if ordered in restaurant this mistake would not happen.

Omg so happy we went wandering for a place to eat because this is the spot right here let me tell you. There's no sign outside do it was a bit tricky to know it was inside the office building. But so happy we did when we found this spot, the empanada was so good and the coffee was delicious If you are in the area go ahead and try them

Best place in Downtown Orlando for Cuban Coffee. Mine is actually espresso as I take it without sugar. A colleague and I tried every place offering espresso downtown and this is our winner. They serve their omelette with fries and I'm not mad about it! The Cuban style ham croquettes were really good as well. Small place with big taste located on the ground floor of the Fairwinds building on Central.

AZÚCAR como decía Celia!!! Delicious food, great place to sit eat & chat and amazing service. This is a local mom & pop shop and you can tell as soon as you walk in - you are greeted with a wonderful hello & smile. I had ropa vieja & carne frita both flavorful & delicious. The morro flaky and a perfect combination to the meats. The customized my plate to my liking without even a slight hesitation. My only regret is not having had a dessert! There's a ton and they all looked delicious. It's conveniently located not too far from MCO.

Too expensive for a Ham & Cheese ($5.99). Employees have very low energy, confused and slow service. This is a very average Cuban Cafe with a high rent to pay. I won't visit this place ever again.

A little pricey for a cuban sandwich I've had better at other places and the fries were under seasoned but I'm still satisfied.

Yermany was a great host and greeted me warmly and enthusiastically. She was patient while I compiled my order and helped me figure out the gift card situation. I feel like it had been a few years since | last visited but I'm glad. I did today. This a great spot to grab a quick delicious affordable lunch. Dining environment lends itself to linger. The food was fantastic (our table shared both the Crab Guacomole and the Cha Cha Cha - both yummy; I had the Vaca Frita which was succulent which with the rice and beans were just divine). The drinks were great too, as our table shared passionfruit mojitos. Ambiance was perfect - our corner table was the perfect place for us to catch up and have our own space in this vivrant restaurant. Our server Jason was super cool and accomidating, making sure we were good without imposing, and was able to roll with our rowdy group. For those looking for good Cuban food in a nice space, look no further than Cuba Libre.

I was immediately drawn in by the music and the LED lights. We started off with a round of sangria, which is always a great way to kick off. We also got a basket of bread and mango butter, which was both unique and really good. The table shared a Plato Cha Cha Cha. I couldn't tell what was what, but I remember the croquetas being super delicious! Definitely worth it on a hungry stomach. I ordered the Ropa Vieja for my entree. It was very good (especially the plantains/maduros), but I was already very full and probably should have ordered something lighter in hindsight. The highlight of the night was definitely dessert. It was my aunt's birthday, and they greeted her with a huge bowl of ice cream and a show. I won't spoil it, but if you have a birthday, Cuba Libre will definitely make you feel celebrated. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Orlando who would like to try out Cuban food.

We immediately informed our waiter, who then brought out the manager. She apologized and took the dessert back to the kitchen. At that point, I expected a replacement dessert or some effort to make the situation right. Instead, the manager returned only to explain that she had inspected the kitchen staff and confirmed they were all wearing hair coverings. While I understand she was trying to address the concern, that response completely missed the point of customer service and recovery. One poor management interaction can change the entire experience. Unfortunately, because of how this situation was handled, I have to give this restaurant 1 star.
