This is my second review and I feel it is very important to come back and leave. My husband and I came in last night for Valentine's Day and we were blown away by the outstanding experience. The service we received last night was amazing. Isabella and Brianna were helping us last night, Brianna our main server and Isabella helping bring things over. Brianna was extremely nice, so helpful with our questions on the preset Valentine's menu and overall such a sweetheart! Definitely topped our previous experience with the server in my last review. Isabella brought over our bread and was such a delight to speak to for a brief moment. The girls were busy last night and they looked at be handling it with ease, making sure every table got the same amount of attention. And as we had expected, our food was phenomenal! I got the baked clams to start and Penne Florentine for dinner and my husband got seafood bisque and Lobster Ravioli and WOW! All came out amazing. The eggplant parmigiana was a standout dish, perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and a tender, flavorful inside. Gina and her staff (especially Matt, with whom we first spoke) went out of their way to give us the entirety of the space of their beautiful restaurant and helped us to create a menu for both kids and adults at a completely reasonable price. Every detail was taken care of. It was evident to us that it was important to Gina that we be able to celebrate our daughter's birthday with her while relaxed and enjoying the festivities alongside her. She thought of things we hadn't. No stress. We'd hired some clowns engaging in various fun and animated activities for the kids and the restaurant had no problem hosting them too, letting us decorate the space before the event, and arranging things as we saw fit in order to accommodate everything. Cafe Spiga is the PERFECT PLACE to host a party for between 10 and 80 people. There are many food options, all exquisitely prepared. Everything we thought of---every request---they accommodated, all within 24 hours at a reasonable price. This is restaurant is a find, a classy, hidden gem in Mount Sinai.
