LEAVING CULLIGAN AFTER NEARLY 30 YEARS, and the only one we're going to miss is our professional, friendly, delivery guy. We've actually stuck it out an extra year just to support Kevin, but Corporate sell out has ruined this company! It has been going down hill for the last few years, and after being a devoted customer of home delivery averaging eight to ten 5 gallon jugs monthly, we're closing the door on them. Conveniently forgetting to bill us the month each jug nearly doubled in price, they are putting the entire blame on "corporate" and "corporate" (somewhere in Illinois) says Melbourne, Florida, bills at their discretion. 10% - 20% increase (with advance notice) understandable in today's world, but there is no excuse for gouging loyal customers. Every one of their upper management is lying and deceiving customers - and admin employees, evidently - it's disgraceful. DON'T GET SUCKED INTO THEIR SALES AND SERVICE PITCHES - CONSUMERS BEWARE! read more

They can charged me $191.68 because the previous owner of the house had a filter changed and when I purchased the house and dumbly gave them my card number to have on file and 3 weeks later the charge came and when I called they stated the the invoice was dated December 18 and I did not close on the house until January 14 and so when I called back to get the charge refunded, I also had them removed the card information because I will not be using their service and then today the charge went through on my account and I called back and they said in order to do the refund they need my card information again and then I got disconnected and I called back and got sent to a voicemail and have not heard anything back. read more

We have been faithful customers of Culligan for many years. We enjoy the benefits of soft water we have had guests say that our water taste salty but we don't notice it. The real problem is when the salt is delivered. If you're not home, they leave it on the driveway and 40 pound bags are too heavy for two old People to pick up and put into the container. I did call the last time to make sure I would be home when they deliver and they responded and said they would be there in 15 minutes. This was really nice because we were getting ready to go for lunch. Everything has a price and everything has a problem so far we're not changing, but I would not recommend it to a new homeowner. I have had Culligan Water Service for two months now. I would like to pay my bill, however, I am unable to do so online or even when I call and I speak to a person. I work full time, so tried to set up my account to pay online. But the website does not accept the account number on the emailed invoice. When I call the office and speak with someone, I am told "we are changing our software for billing so wait a week to go online to pay". Okay. I wait a week or two. Still not able to pay online. They are closed on the weekend. It seems ridiculous that I can't even pay when I call them. For the cost of the service to have bottled water delivered (it is pricey) the business should be able to let their customers speak to someone to pay their bill or at least be able to pay online. They have figured out to how to email an invoice to me, but haven't figured out how their customers can pay the bill! I am at a loss! read more

I bought a house with a Culligan water softener and a Reverse Osmosis system. The sink cabinet was all rotted away , wet and moldy. We had the RO system removed and a whole new kitchen done. When the contractor asked me if he should put the RO system back in I told him no because it was clearly leaking and that I wanted Culligan to come out and look at it. Two weeks ago I finally got around to having them come out ( it's been about 5 months). When I made the appointment they did me a favor by coming out at 4:00 and boy did they let me know it was a favor. I told two women that the system was leaking and that they needed to figure out why. The guy came out and my husband told him to look for the leak too. My husband said that when 5:00 rolled around the guy wanted out of here. I don't go under that sink cabinet as the only thing under there is the RO system. When I came home that night all I did was test the water and it was yummy ! 10 days later I come home from work and step into a soaked rug in front of the sink. I immediately scream at my pig thinking she peed there. Nope, it was just water. I asked my husband if he spilled something and he said no. I opened the cabinet and it was soaked. There was a layer of water, my new sink cabinet was ruined and the filter was leaking. I called the answering service. No call back. I actually called them 5 times in 3 hours. Still no call back. Saturday morning I called Daytona since that's where the owner is out of. Within minutes the Daytona tech called me and said he would get the Melbourne guy to call me. Sure enough a few minutes later he called. He said he never got the call Friday night ? Lying or bad answering service, I am not sure. Anyway, he came out and turned the system off and discovered that one of the filters had a crack. He said that was unusual and he took it with him to show the boss The next day I was at a home show and Culligan was there so I explained the problem. It turns out that one guy was the area manager. He told me that someone would call me Monday. Monday rolled around and I spoke with Henry. I can not say that it was a pleasure. I explained everything and he pretty much did everything but call me a liar. He told me that there was no way that it could have been leaking and then stopped when they re-I stalled it and then started again right after that. Seriously ? Does he really think that it magically stopped for a few minutes while the tech was here ? No !!! My guess is that the tech didn't stay long enough to see the leak or they never told him it was leaking and he didn't check the filters. I understand that they do t check the filters at random but I did stress that it leaked so I'm thinking he should have. So after being treated so poorly I told Henry I would not continue to argue about the matter and said goodbye. I then called the area manager and left a message. I'm waiting to see if he calls me back. So far I can say that they have great water but horrible customer service read more

Ive been receiving their delivery service for a few years now, going down hill fast ! Instead of buying other companies out they should work on their own. Between incorrect billing , ineffective customer service with empty promises and water shortages . You think a billion dollar company would have better skills than theirs. Im deciding to pack it in with this company after running a business using their service for over 12 yrs then after that using the house service for over 3 yrs. Many chances given and still no organization ! Dont believe a thing they promise you , they seem to be exceptionally good at lying . I wish I could give zero stars. I wanted to love culligan so badly but seriously, don't even waste your time. RUN don't walk away from this place. Every month I would get over charged or I would put my containers out and then get a message saying sorry we missed you. I would check my cameras and they would just drive right by my house and not even get out of the vehicle! Then I would spend time on the phone every billing cycle to ask for a refund or price adjustment for not receiving my water. Multiple times the driver would sling the waters down on my porch and the bottoms would crack, leaving me with a mess to clean up, having to store a container outside until the next month and getting charged for a water we couldn't even drink. I finally decided to quit trying and discontinue service. They never refunded me for any of the deposits of the bottles. This place is a joke. I now get my jugs from Sam's club myself for less then $5 a jug! read more

Everything was great with this company to begin with it was cheaper than ready refresh so we decided to try them at first the water quality was bad we didn't find that out until it killed all of our fish then the delivery driver took 16 of our jugs only wrote down 5 so I was charged an extra 100 dollars when I preceded to complain about the charge the manager Henry told me the deliver driver does not have a reason to lie I said everyone makes mistakes he said he doesn't believe that I told him just keep the money and cancel my service as I will not be treated this way I have a doorbell camera that proves that this man took all the jugs they lost a 160 dollar a month customer over 100 dollar overcharge and rude customer care that is not good bussiness sense in my opinion the water also turns green if the jugs are left outside so the water does not seem very pure so it's better just not to drink it anyway read more

Before considering this place, please know I had them well over 2 years and I will tell you, I always wondered why my water was brown and nasty all on the pan of the cooler where it comes out-the water is not nearly as fresh as it should be. Also, if you do not feel comfortable having your receipts blow around the neighborhood in the wind, tell them and see what happens. You will watch them screw up every month!!! Talk to the manager and listen to him say, it's not our fault, we tell the delivery driver...NOT!!!Every month! and then talk to him again and hear him say you're being difficult and then see him overcharge you and lie about it...Now I have the best, professional company-and the water does not have the nasty brown stuff at all!!!
