I've been coming to this Culver's/Butter Burger location since I can remember. What an awesome place. Always the friendliest service, consistently tasty food, and super clean. The family who started Culver's in 1984 is originally from the Baraboo area so I wouldn't be surprised if this Reedsburg restaurant is one of the first locations. If you've never been to a Culver's it's a treat on many levels. First of all the food is delicious - anything you order. After you place your order you get a number and take it to your table, then a few minutes later a nice server comes and delivers the food to you. So it's fastish food, but definitely feels more home cooked than McDonalds or Burger King. It's a close race with In and Out Burger for my favorite fast food place of all time but the desserts take it over the edge. You have to try their famous concrete shakes, and ice-cream flavor of the day. Last time I was there I got to have peppermint oreo with hot fudge - amazing! Mmmm.. chicken finger basket - crinkle french fries.. oh God when can I go back!?

The food here is way better than going to some of the other fast food places in town. I love the cheese curds and the culvers deluxe burger!

Good custard and burgers. Remember, this is competing with fast food. It is better than most fast food chains.

It sounded a little pricy, but the scoops were huge! It was closer to three scoops. Two people sharing that one double scoop in a waffle cone had trouble finishing it. I went for the Oreo flavor. It tasted as expected. Service was very nice. It can be a little confusing since there isn't really a line or rope off sections. The ice cream counter is right by the adjoining entrance to Macs. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside on a Sunday evening. I see why this place is popular and would have gone back to try more things if we had the time.

The restaurant itself is cute as a button with the black and white checked flooring and cutsie decor. The front windows roll up to make for lovely open air dining on pleasant days. It's an order at the counter and they'll bring your food to you sort of set up. For my first breakfast here, I got their oatmeal which was fantastic. It was a hearty serving of oatmeal and had chia seeds, cinnamon, blueberries, strawberries, and banana on top. All the fruit was fresh, making for a wonderfully delicious breakfast. The coffee is also solid (though I can't recall what I ordered) and the service is friendly. Get to it!

It's a mind game because they aren't happy with each other and customers have noticed the tension being high and how you could cut it with a knife. I tried to work there twice now but for some reason always was the target of Kathys aggression. She's even grabbed a knife right out of my hand when I was making a banana split. Last night I couldn't take it anymore. Everything I did was wrong. Either I was in her way or it wasn't right. So I walked out. I fought for 7 hours to stay but after being told that she hated seeing my fucken face and she wished I would just quit, I made her day and did. Even Karen wrote immediately to tell me that she didn't blame me one bit and that she was sincerely sorry for everything that happened. She really hoped that I was ok and that it was alot to handle. She also said that things need to improve alot. She was truly sorry for what I went through and that she agreed that I do what was right for me. If Karen was the only boss I'd be there still working but with Kathy things must change because if the customers can feel the tension, they probably won't be back anytime soon. I'm sorry it ended this way but I truly did like working there until all this went south as they say. This was written by my daughter but when she posted it to their page they just took it down so she asked me to post it to help, so people are aware. She doesn't mean to hurt the business, or Karen but people need to know what to watch out for.

"Zoreo"- I believe was chocolate with Oreo cookie pieces. "Sticks and Stones"-chocolate covered pretzels, caramel ribbon and marshmallow ice cream. They only offer drive-thru or walk up options. They have an outdoor patio area. Keep in mind if you have small children that this is on the corner of 2 main roads so you will need to keep an eye on them if they wonder. Staff was very friendly and took the time to explain the flavors to us. The amount of money we spent (around $7) for five kids scoops of ice cream was about $10 less than we would've spent at Dairy Queen, and it tasted better. I hear they also offer tasty popcorn. We didn't get any this time but will come back to try again due to the good customer service and delicious ice cream.
