Cumberland Jack's LeConte Kitchen - Great Food & Even Better Service! We had a great dinner at Cumberland Jack's LeConte Kitchen! My daughter had been craving their Honey BBQ Wings, so we headed back there (on a Tuesday again, funny enough), and we were seated right away--no wait at all. Our server was fantastic--friendly, fast, and very helpful. We started with the firecracker shrimp, which were delicious. If you're not into spicy food, don't worry--the sauce comes on the side. I didn't think it was super spicy, but it added a nice flavor. The wings were just as good as my daughter remembered. I tried the Monte Cristo--it wasn't the traditional style, but it was still really good. The raspberry jam on the side was a great touch! Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be coming back!

The "truffle" sauce. Trust me, skip the flatbread

The mushroom flatbread was horrendous! My daughter had to excuse herself to the bathroom because it looked and smelled so unappetizing. The wings were okay to the other people in our party. I couldn't stomach them. They had a very cheap sauce on them. I've had worse wings, but these are worth skipping.

We tried Cumberland Jacks for the first time on a Sunday evening. There was a little bit of a wait, but that was fine. Despite being short staffed, everything we ordered was delicious. I asked our waiter, who happened to be the manager, for recommendations and he was very thorough, which I greatly appreciated. I chose the chicken with two sides and the chicken batter was so crispy and chicken juicy. I had a side of mashed potatoes, which were fine, and the creamed corn. The cream corn was fresh and delicious! I will definitely choose to order the cream corn again! My husband got the steak, I believe it was Kona steak(?), as it had a coffee rub on it. He was very pleased with it. We loved the decor in the restaurant and loved how the manager was very knowledgeable in answering all the questions we had, whether it was about the menu, the decor, or the history of the restaurant.

What a cute and reasonable priced restaurant on the strip. The outside decor is what stopped us to come in and when you walk in, you are transformed into a camp ground cabin or like a general store. I loved the decor so much that it made the restaurant. The menu had several selections for no matter what type of eater you are. 1000/10 recommend the chicken caprese dish. (You pick your sides) the beans and rice, I wish I could have gotten a whole bowl of that! The manager was extremely personable and kept checking on all tables to make sure they were doing well and if they needed anything. All the meals were valued at a great price for fresh quality food. I WILL be going back and will bring more people next time.

Great wait staff and our salads were huge and quite good. My grilled salmon piece was not small, but the oversized plate made it appear undersized. We dropped by right before closing and were still made a good meal. I would return and try other menu items.

Don't overlook this restaurant when in Gatlinburg! It's towards the end of the strip and is outstanding! We ventured in because it looked kind of like a family, friendly, old style restaurant, and big portions. We were not disappointed! Come hungry and order anything on the menu. It's amazing. The brisket queso and chips are excellent.

First, I am so glad we stopped here! The server was so great with the service. Joked around with us, smiled, patient, and kind. You can tell she was tired, but still didn't stop her from being an excellent server. Second - food. O. M. G! So, so, so good!!! I ordered the turkey dinner - can't remember the name of it, but it did not disappoint! Turkey was perfect, mashed potatoes and stuffing was great, and the green beans were to DIE for. I could've eaten just a plate of green beans and would've been happy. Last, the ambiance was laidback and casual. Very country feeling and enjoyed looking at the decor. Kind of industrial also. I liked it, tasteful!

We stopped in the middle of the Winter Storm Cora. All of the workers but kitchen crew had to call out because of travel but the bartender- which rocked!! They had to close after we came in due to weather. They didn't disappoint at all though. If they were stressed, they didn't show it. The atmosphere was great. We learned the story of Cumberland Jack too. My husband got the meatloaf which was amazing! Not too many onions- just enough. Perfect added flavor of bacon. Next- I got the chicken fried chicken. We agreed to half plates because our first bites were outstanding! Our girls got the kids cheeseburger and the smoked wings. Everything was great! Great job Bartender and staff!!! We will be back.

We never been here before lots to choose from. I started with butter beer. My wife went with meatloaf with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. While I went on limp and tried the buffalo burger and fries. Don't look for the rolls they advertise on their menu they don't do them anymore. This is a Military friendly location.

They greeted us with a smile and seated us right away even though we had a party of 7. Drinks came right away and our server Christa, was wonderful. Complimentary delicious vegetable soup came out in tin cups with soup spoons , so you could pick it up and not spill any on your shirt. Best veggie soup I've ever had! My boyfriend and I had looked at Yelp and saw the large park chop dish so decided to share that and thank goodness, because after that, and the soup and fresh dinner rolls we were full. We had checked a couple of close by restaurants that were giving wait times of 1.5-2 hour waits. We are so glad we walked another block or two and tried this great place!

Poor service and empty house on Friday at 9:00pm!!!
    Arron S.

This place is horrific. Saw at least 30 people walk in, no host at all so they walked back out. Manager is sitting at the bar at did not greet or even help!! Place is disgraceful and needs new ownership.

Our server was friendly though there were a bunch of servers who stopped by our table overlooking the course of the night. All were pleasant, though our server asked us if we were there for a special event when we sat and we said no, then at the end of them meal he though it was my husband's birthday, but not in a "here a drink on the house" kind of way, just an awkward comment. I got the bone in pork chop which came on a serving shaved Brussel sprouts. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and very tender. Our server recommended we get a side, so we tried the truffle Mac and cheese, it was fine but not great-it was not all that cheesy though we could taste the truffle. I wouldn't recommend it. My husband's risotto with filet and mushrooms only had the scantest amount of filet and mushrooms though was very flavorful. When it arrived at our table it had sloshed all over the serving dish and the server said she was going to fix it it just went to the servers station (2 feet from us) and then came back a minute later-I'm not sure what exactly that fixed but the presentation certainly was not that of a dish that costs $50! I had the smoked Sazerac for my drink. It was nice and the cherry smoke imparted a great flavor though it's not supposed to be served with an ice cube. Additionally, the ice cube within was not clear or perfectly cubed. For a $22 cocktail, this was a miss in my book. I had the crème brûlée for dessert and they strangely put very wet strawberries on the brûlée. I only got a very small space that I could attempt to crack the brûlée. It tasted delicious, though the strawberries really should have been served on the side. Between courses, a bear walked up the river which was an exciting development. This restaurant is beautiful and perfectly situated on a scenic river.

My family was wondering how much that would cost, I didn't care it was good... found out at end it was just $15, if I knew I would have ordered alot more. Pork belly scallops were very good but the 2 scallops seemed like one cut on half but the sauce made up for it, and the pork was great. Lemon sorbet palette cleanser was so good people in my group asked for it for dessert as well Lobster bisque was one of the better ones I have had anywhere. Multiple people ordered filets with different finishing sauces, everyone liked theirs. I ordered the porterhouse and enjoyed every bite. Wish I lived closer, definitely worth the trip

We've done the tasting multiple times over the years, and it never gets old because the hosts bring so much personality, humor, and energy to the experience. The jokes, stories, and interactions are always a little different, which keeps it fresh and fun. This past weekend, Trey really knocked it out of the park! One thing I really appreciate is that they regularly change the tasting menu, so there are always new flavors to try. The tasting itself is an incredible value at just $5, and the wristbands can be saved and combined for discounts on purchases. I brought two wristbands from a trip over a year ago, combined them with the ones we purchased this visit, and ended up getting a bottle of moonshine basically free, I only paid the tax! They've also added a new option where you can pay an extra $5 to choose three specific flavors you'd like to sample up to two additional times, which is a great addition. We also checked out the speakeasy-style bar tucked behind the store, and it has a fantastic atmosphere and is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a more relaxed place to enjoy a drink. Every staff member we've encountered has been friendly, welcoming, and entertaining. Our personal favorites are the sipping creams as they're absolutely delicious and worth taking home. We picked up their new Churro flavor and love it! If you're visiting Gatlinburg, don't miss Sugarlands. It's one of the best values and most memorable experiences in town.

I think they actually do make their Thai tea because my tea was in 2 layers when it was brought out (tea at the bottom and milk at the top) and I mixed it myself. Though the restaurant was busy, the servers did their best to attend to you and came back to refill waters. The place was clean. Sufficient parking.
