SLC has some pretty fantastic coffee shops, but I think Cupla is one of the best. It's a great place to study, work, or hang out, with lots of seats and good Wi-Fi. Great coffee and some small bites available as well. It's convenient to a lot of downtown offices, hotels, and restaurants, and not too far from the nearest TRAX station. To my knowledge, the only parking is metered or in one of the many paid lots nearby. Overall, would highly recommend! read more

One of the best cups of coffee I've had in several months - the Apple Pie White Mocha was an absolute autumnal dream. As smooth a coffee experience as you'll find in the Downtown area. And a millenial's delight to boot. They appear to genuinely welcome you to sit and while away time on your laptop while sipping your handcrafted beverage. This is a huge coffee shop also offering doughnuts (a delicious old-fashioned paired well with my coffee) and other bites. I wasn't exactly thrilled about the convenience fee applied when using your card (Really? How many people carry cash in 2024?), but that was a seriously delicious cup of coffee. This coffee shop was open until 7pm when I was there, and I stopped in around 15 minutes before their closing. The staff was super pleasant. I loved the modern ambiance and lighting inside as well. I ordered a brown sugar and cinnamon cold brew coffee (no ice) so that I could take it back to my hotel room refrigerator for the next morning. Across the street from our hotel, this was an easy walk in the morning to get some coffee. The place had several seating areas. I thought it was clever that they had the TV channel set to a roaring fire to keep it cozy. I ordered a hot latte and was asked if whole milk was ok. The coffee was topped with a beautiful latte art. Food and coffee was fantastic. Also a very clean shop with good music. Service was great as well. One of the best breakfast burritos I have had. Their coffee is roasted in store and it was very good! I tried their hot turmeric chai latte and it was so good. I may have found a new favorite drink. I also ordered a chia pudding, thinking I would like it. I was wrong again. I got rosemary honey matcha which was nice (a very subtle rosemary flavour, and good honey flavour. I wished matcha flavour was a bit stronger, but definitely not a deal breaker). This is definitely the best coffee shop in SLC. We are out of town and this is our spot we go to everyday when we're in town for our annual convention. We love their energy and how creative and yummy all their drinks are. I've been only going to them for the last 3 years every time I'm in town for coffee. They make your order super fast too even with lines. So so happy for their new location out in the open and not downstairs, so everyone can be exposed to how awesome they are!
