2020 has been a challenging year for all of us. In addition to the numerous adjustments that have come with Covid 19, I had to fly to Boston from LAX every other week this past summer for a very specialized chemotherapy treatment. To be blunt it was sheer hell and I dreaded every other Monday knowing the horrendous agony I would have to endure. The only thing that gave me enough mental and physical strength to get out of my house and on that plane was knowing that I would get to spend time with John Groves who is the owner of Curbside Express LAX and one of their main drivers. John has a wonderful energy and quick wit that instantly relaxes you and eases whatever stress you may have. Some trips I would really want to talk and other times I didn't have the physical strength to even open my mouth. Either way, I knew I was safe and secure with John and would never have to worry about anything. My cancer has now successfully gone into remission and life is starting to get back to normal. Thank God for beautiful John and his wonderful Curbside Express LAX. There is no better way to get to and from LAX even if Aladdin himself were giving rides to the airport on a magic carpet !!! Never again. I thought that reserving this car service well ahead of time would eliminate the stress of a making my tight airline connection. I was wrong. At the time I was supposed to be picked up, and not seeing my my Curbside Express driver, I phoned their 1-888 number. The driver informed me he would be arriving 10 minutes late. I told him that was not ok for me because it could mean me missing my flight. He replied that there wasn't "much difference" between my scheduled 3:20pm pick up and his 3:30pm real-time pick up. I was flabbergasted. The whole point of me reserving this ride 5 days in advance was to avoid this sort of last minute stress and danger of getting to the airport late. I cancelled and was thankful to jump in a cab that happened to be close. Unbelievably, Curbside Express still charged me a fee because "the driver was already en route." This is total BS. Next time I'll reserve with Uber or a regular Checker or Yellow Cab. read more

I found this business on Yelp and decided to book it for our return from Europe. The reservation was made one day in advance, over the phone, without any hassle. The agent who took the call was pleasant and professional. I got a confirmation that our driver would be William and the time that he'd pick us up. Long story short - our flight got rerouted to Las Vegas because of a storm. We arrived to LA more than 3 hours later than the original time. William was there waiting for us. This is something that meant so much to my wife and I since we were traveling with our 4 month old and had a lot of bags. If he hadn't waited for us, I don't know how we would have gotten home. On top of that, William is an amazing driver and a very nice person. The minivan he picked us up in was clean and comfortable. Not only is Curbside Express LAX timely but the service is wonderful. We tried Curbside twice (once to LAX and once back from LAX). Both times, the van came on time and the driver was very courteous and helpful. After looking at the review of some of the other companies, my biggest concern was reliability and timeliness. So far Curbside is batting a thousand. While they may not be a large company, they're small enough to care about their service. Keep it up Curbside!!! read more

After our first shuttle company were dishonest with us and did not have any vehicles that accommodated the amount of travelers that we had (after they promised they did); Curbside helped us out in a pinch as there was less than 10 hours before we had to leave from Orange County to LAX for our flight. They got right on it and were friendly, helpful and reassuring. They showed up on time both on the trip there and on our return trip from LAX. The communication was excellent. This company is truly outstanding. I had a very early flight at LAX, needed 5 AM pick up. Ben was so helpful, kind and reassuring. I live in Hollywood and had to be in LA X at that early hour, and I was so worried because it was the only flight I could take, absolutely no other flights except that one to get me to my destination. Ben continued to reassure me that I had nothing to worry about they were 24 hour service and they picked up people at very early hours all the time not to worry. So I booked it. The driver Eric, arrived at my home early and gave me a great amount of help to get my suitcase in the car and get me safely tucked in for the ride to the airport. I really didn't pay any attention to the route he took but he got me from Hollywood to the airport in about 36 minutes, pretty amazing,. I also need assistance so he knew exactly which gate to take me to where United Airlines has designated passenger assistance. He was really superb! You CANNOT go wrong using this company....icing on the cake? Their prices are better than any of the others I contacted. The vehicle was super clean, Eric was of course wearing a mask.
