What a wonderful gem of a store tucked into a community!! They have so many wonderful options for when you are on the run and really created a wonderful... and delicious concept.. for customers who need something flavorful, yet quick for their day. Parking isn't the easiest, but honestly.. the limited parking helps keep the inside at the correct capacity for their fresh made options. I grabbed a Chocolate Chip cookie for my day.. who could resist a towering stack of these baseball sized delights. But I am excited to see all the soups and sandwiches options that I could grab too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is whimsically decorated and the food shelves even help create the atmosphere with their well written name plates and meticulously organized arrangements.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The best part of this place... actually came as I waited for my order... the community vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Policemen coming in and being greeted by name for their usual. Professionals immediately greeting their favorite employees and discussing the new cookie recipes that they have for the week. They value their customers and make delicious food. I'll be back!
Curbside on the Run is a local restaurant that serves takeout breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday. Examples of menu items are breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, soups, salads, coffees, lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, espressos, smoothies, teas, and sodas. I got a small breakfast/snack here one time. The parking lot was small for the large number of customers, especially with snow taking up some space, so I felt thankful to find a spot for my vehicle. The employees spoke nicely with me. I purchased a bag of chocolate-chip cookies and a Lovestruck Chai. The total price was about $13 plus tax and tip. The cookies were soft and chewy and contained a generous amount of chocolate chips. The chai had a salted caramel flavor and cherry foam and tasted excellent.
Easily the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Idek how to describe how good this was. Unbelievably delicious. Everything I have gotten from here has been not only a statement & creative masterpiece, but worth driving an hour+ for. Pittsburgh best new cafe 1000%%% I got The Vampire Slayer breakfast sandwich with the pretzel bun...fireeee. And a Love at First Sip Latte...also fire. Besides the food being to die for, they are so nice, and appreciate and remember their customers. And they are genuinely happy to see you. Finding a cafe that serves breakfast with pre-packaged lunch to go sandwiches and goodies, is a win, but finding one that gives you a mouthwatering hearty breakfast and not just a preheated starbucks "breakfast" is unbeatable. They make it fresh for you, and its not just thrown together. Whoever owns this place loves what they do and it translates. When you come here, leave some time, they make it fresh for you, fresh = a couple extra minutes that are so worth it. Also a note: They stop serving hot sammies at 12:30! So make sure you come before that! [[HIGHLIGHT]]And there is no indoor seating, sorry zoom cafe-ers you'll have to be annoying somewhere else.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They do have a parking lot though! Curbside on the Run has a plethora of in-house/ homemade baked good, salads, sandwiches, and to go beverages and frozen items for purchase as well as their hand crafted beverages and to order breakfast sandwiches, all of which are out of this world . I've yet to have an item that wasn't fantastic. The blueberry baked oatmeal and mini chocolate chip cookies are always a stand out for me for take away items. I usually order a protein smoothie for breakfast or I will sometimes order a breakfast sandwich that they are amazing about making with no meat for me since I am a plant based eater. They are always so kind to accommodate my needs and my non dairy beverages are also no exception. The coffees are also to Die For! I never get a trip in without a latte and I'm usually not a sweet coffee drinker. The cold foams are too good not to get one. Oatmeal cream pie or pecan pie is my current fav but the pictured pistachio was a smash. The smoothie was out of this world amazing. The only sadness was when I got to the bottom with no refill button insight. 12/10 customer service every time. The shop is small but the energy is always the best of vibes. The worst day is the best day by the time you walk out. I went in sobbing once and left with a small smile. The staff was too sweet not to cheer up even on my worst day. They're wonderful people with a great business and product. Support local and you won't be disappoint.
Curbside on the Run serves the best bagel I have had in my entire life, and I do not say that lightly. This is not just a great bagel, it is better than New York. The breakfast sandwiches are next level. The bagel holds up beautifully without being dense, soaking in all the flavor while still keeping its structure. The fillings are generous, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. If you are ordering, you absolutely should get both bacon and sausage. The combination is unmatched. The smoky crispness of the bacon paired with the savory, juicy sausage creates the perfect balance of flavor and texture, elevating an already unreal bagel to something unforgettable. Everything about Curbside on the Run feels done with care and intention, from the quality of the ingredients to the execution. This is the kind of place that ruins other bagels for you in the best way possible.
Wow, everything here is so delicious, from fancy coffee and other drinks to salads to loaded sandwiches to baked goods, curbside has a ton of options and you can't go wrong with anything! The vampire slayers is an egg and bacon sandwich on a pretzel bun with a tomato jam. It was very yummy, but I wish a little less jam just because it's so sweet. This place gets absolutely packed, but they move fast once your order is placed, though I would order ahead if you can. The staff is incredibly nice, and the energy was very upbeat the whole time! The parking situation is a bit of a mess with how popular they are, so prepare to park on the side of the streets in the little neighborhood behind them. There's also usually a line out the door, and people waiting everywhere so also be ready to do take out. absolutely one of the best loaded sandwich and coffee shops for a little pricey but delicious meal!
I love this place. With the small lot, parking can be tricky, but it's worth waiting and/or walking. The food are drinks are terrific -- I haven't been disappointed yet. The made to order sandwiches are stuffed with high quality ingredients. (And they smell great!) The drinks and baked goods we've tried have all been delicious, too. Okay I really wish I could give them 4.5 stars because oh my god this was literally the best breakfast sandwich I've EVER had. I was visiting from out of state and had friends message me heartbroken that this wasn't local for us. The speecy spicy was beyond incredible, highly recommend getting it on a croissant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The reason I have to knock off a star is simply because of how crowded it is/there isn't a great system for waiting for orders.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm soo happy this place is popular because it's entirely deserved![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd just love to see them get extra hands to help run orders out or maybe an intercom system? Just build in time for a wait and you'll be fine! 5/5 for the food. Will be visiting as much as I can when I'm in town.
11/7/2025 Ate list: Comeback Kid Breakfast Sandwich - 8.0 Wanted to provide an update! It doesn't change the previous experiences I have had here BUT I stopped back when this spot miraculously had no line. And this time I had the aptly named "Comeback Kid." Was delicious. Could see craving it. Unfortunately they had stopped serving breakfast so it was reheated from their fridge but was still great. Staff is extremely kind too. Still confused by their hours. Still confused on why cooked food is available for all but 1 day and 2 hours each day. Still confused by their high costs (maybe not confused for them taking advantage of being in Fox Chapel but confused why 2 drinks, one sandwich and a side of Mac salad cost about $35). I don't see this becoming a place I recommend to others without some change. BUT my experience here was better than last time.
This sandwich is a bacon lovers dream. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and bacon is my favorite food. I ran out to Curbside on the Run today to pick up a bacon, egg and cheese croissant along with my favorite breakfast drink of a chai latte, and this meal did not disappoint. Such a heavenly meal break in my day! First of all, I was surprised at how quickly I received my order, even though they were rather busy. I had a little time to look at everything that they offered, which was more significant than I expected. If you are on the run, don't pass this place up because it is totally worth the time to run in! And don't get turned away if there are cars in the lot because turnover is quick and parking spaces will open up pretty fast.

I've heard so much about curbside for months! Finally made my way here today. I got a blueberry maple iced latte with blueberry cold foam, it was scrumptious. A little too scrumptious, because even though my boyfriend doesn't even drink coffee, he drank half of it! We ordered one speecy spicy and one vampire slayer. I didn't realize until I got home that we accidentally got two vampire slayers, but that was on me I should've checked before I left! The staff is so kind and welcoming, I know if I noticed prior they would've gladly fixed it. Regardless, both sandwiches were delicious! The whole shop, outside and inside is so vibrant and filled with joy, I loved it. I will certainly be back! read more
What a gem of a spot! It's hard to find good bagel sandwiches in Pittsburgh, and I've been meaning to try this place for a while now after seeing so much hype about it online. We finally got around to going the other week, and I'm only mad we didn't go sooner - that breakfast sandwich was loaded and so good! As somebody who tries not to eat pork, I LOVE that they offer turkey sausage as one of the protein options for their breakfast sandwiches (most places here seem to only offer pork bacon). I also enjoyed their house sauce that they added on the "speecy spicy" - it's definitely indulgent though because it's a creamy sauce on a heavy sandwich, so you might not want to plan on any vigorous activity after enjoying one! While we were waiting for our sandwiches, we looked at the ready-made soups, salads, etc they had in the fridge, all of which looked incredible. Plus, their coffee and smoothie menus sound SO good. There's literally so much I want to try from this spot - I can't wait to come back again and again! read more
A great local breakfast option right off of Freeport Road. It gets surprisingly busy in the mornings- there was already a line of 4 people by 8:30am! Which makes sense because all of the breakfast sandwiches were incredible. Everything is fresh and made to order. You can see the staff hard at work right behind the counter. I love that they have a well stocked variety of prepackaged lunch items like salads, soups, and sandwiches. The coffee and latte were delicious as well. They had some fun valentine specials for the month of February! I loved the two timer Sammie which was huge and stuffed with sausage AND bacon! Next time I'll opt to add their bang bang sauce to make it extra saucey/spicy. read more

Worth the hype. The only ever time I go out of any way to get a breakfast sandwich is for a pork roll, egg and cheese on bagel (nowhere here, bagels suck) but add curbside to the lisT Also if the sandwiches aren't your move they have a bunch of other prepped meals in their coolers, baked goods, smoothies, etc. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is pretty small. Don't offer indoor or outdoor seating but there is one little table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The entire staff is so friendly and will help with any questions We started off with their version of a snickers latte. Absolutely solid but any latte is typically too sweat for me. I have no idea how the heifers drink these everyday The two sandwiches we got were the Speecy Spicy on the croissant and the Italian Stallion on sourdough. Both absolute fucking knockouts The Speecy Spicy's bang bang sauce I would inject into my veins. Perfect amount of sriracha to sweet chili. The cheese I would change just because of knowing they have the bomb ass mozzarella The pesto on that Italian Stallion was top notch. Throw that on every breakfast sandwich there honestly. The breakfast sandwich is soooo good!!! I came to check out the place on the Valentine's Day. They were quite busy with many people queuing . The seating area is outside and it was quite nice on a sunny day. I loved my sandwich and latte. They are absolutely delicious! They also offered great recommendations which made it easy for me to order from a large list of menu items. read more
WOW! From start to end the experience at Curbside was just incredible!! The sweetest workers, all with smiles, were so helpful with the large menu and gave me great recommendations on what to order. The lattes all had options for sugar free and non fat milk, which I love! There were so many options for grab and go foods, and the vibe in the location was so cozy. Tiny, but big enough! The painted outside was so fun and I can't wait to come back when it's warm to enjoy my food and drink outside. read more

Our first stop coming into Pittsburgh for the weekend was at Curbside on the Run. I didn't know what to expect since we had never been there before but I know to order ahead prior to arrival. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is super neat and so many delish offerings (baked goods, subs/sandwiches, soups and salads, etc) all premade and in coolers awaiting your selection.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only downside I could see to ordering ahead is that they don't have all their goodies online to choose from and so you'd have to go in to check that out. However, getting your sandwiches ordered ahead of time will save you the wait. It was worth it though! My husband and I split two different sandwiches.. The Comeback Kid and The Spicy Speecy.. and they did not disappoint. If you want to find a stellar breakfast sandwich .. you gotta try them out! All of their subs and sandwiches in the coolers looked amazing too! The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you're getting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is no seating inside, it is legit a carry out spot. So glad I found this place. The breakfast sandwiches are incredible, honestly one would have been enough for my husband and I to share! Coffee was great, so many fun flavors and seasonal specials. Got everything pretty quick, but waiting gave us time to check out all the refrigerated food options they have! One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had since being diagnosed! I visited during a slow time and was able to watch my sandwich being made--Kylee was incredibly careful, cleaning surfaces and using a fresh pan and GF bread. The kitchen isn't fully gluten-free, but they're very transparent about cross-contact risks. They also offer celiac-safe packaged sweets from Good Hope Bakery (dedicated GF), and Kylee mentioned soups (made from scratch), fruit cups, and overnight oats as other great options. I felt safe and really appreciated the care they put into Celiac note: I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2023 and have been on the hunt for safe and delicious gluten-free spots around Pittsburgh ever since. Everyone with celiac has different comfort levels when eating out, so I always recommend doing your own research and choosing what feels right for you. read more

The staff were friendly and inviting and made a great recommendation on the speecy spicy sandwhich that we both thoroughly enjoyed. I added ham on mine for a very small upcharge and tried their house made canned cold brew in addition to my breakfast, delicious! We stopped by around 10:30am on Saturday morning and, wow, the line was crazy! Thankfully it moved pretty quickly and they told us our food and drinks would be a half hour wait but it was shorter than that. There's only a handful of chairs and a couple of tables outside but we were lucky enough to snag them. The two seasonal ice lattes we got were so pretty and were also delicious (I will note, they're on the sweeter side which I liked). The massive breakfast sandwiches hit the spot and were worth the wait. I'm glad I finally got to try this place out and would definitely go back! read more

This was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in Pittsburgh. I had the privilege of having the Italian stallion (with added bacon). Everything is freshly made in front of you and it shines through in the taste. Everyone in the restaurant was so nice. It created a very warm energy. I personally dont drink caffeine (I know I know) but I still had a marvelous decaf latte! I 100% recommend giving this place a try if you haven't been already. read more
Finally made it to Curbside on the Run and it was worth every penny. I had a holiday cold brew and the Italian Stallion sandwich on an Asiago bagel. It sent me to heaven. The staff was so welcoming the second you walked through the door and helpful for it being my first time there. It didn't take long for my order either! I was finally able to stop by Curbside this morning after wanting to for years, so I went a little overboard. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on a croissant and it is hands down the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. I bought an Aloha Summer smoothie and added greens to it and it's so refreshing and not overly sweet. My honey bee latte (hot) was like a warm hug. I also got a sugar free vanilla iced coffee to go. The service was fast and the employees are so friendly! Everything I had heard about curbside's food was true! It's so good and totally worth the quick pull off of 28 or if you're through the neighborhoods. read more

After reading many reviews I decided to finally give curbside on the run a try. I was craving a breakfast sandwich and this place was raved about by so many. I have to say they give you a lot of food. I got three different breakfast sandwiches but the best one was the Bacon, egg and cheese with organic baby spinach and infused with parmesan garlic between a paquillo pepper jam on a Asiago bagel. This was delicious messy but very good. I also tried a strawberry matcha drink that I didn't really like it tasted like strawberry milk not matcha but I had the best dessert. Which was a brownie and cookie combo. The service was ok they get pretty busy and there is no seating inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is mainly a grab and go small shop and they stop serving breakfast at 1 or 2PM.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're in the area grab some hand wipes and enjoy! read more

Dropped by Monday morning after the Eagles Super Bowl and immediately there was a great energy from all the staff. My bacon egg and cheese was great and I really enjoyed my latte as well. The space is cute and full of fun grab and go goodies too! I also visited Curbside about a year and a half ago, on a weekend when the place was packed and thought it was just fine. I'm so glad I gave them another try on a weekday morning when things were quieter. Experience this time around was excellent! read more
The creations of food and coffee at Curbside are phenomenal. I have been a couple times and really enjoyed it every time. The breakfast sandwiches are very good and nourishing. I also love creating my own sandwich (or burrito). The specialty lattes are also typically amazing. My one "complaint" is they are no longer open on weekends (cries in 9-5 corporate girly located across Pittsburgh). The staff is also very friendly. And the space is very cute and inviting. They also have great grab and go items. Pro tip: order ahead online! read more

Not only do I love getting a breakfast sandwich here but Curbside always keeps me getting different drinks! My friend got a matcha and I got a cold brew but my absolute favorite is being able to walk in and grab some canned cold brews for the future! The fridges filled with everything from cold brew to sandwiches and soups is an amazing aspect of this place. The staff as always was very kind and makes Curbside one of my favorite weekday stops. read more

Huge huge fan of this place! An awesome place with awesome people! The store itself is so cute and quaint. Do note that it is take-out only, but there is plenty of parking along the side and back of the building. There are a few outdoor tables for when the weather is nice (but not many). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the options blew me away. They have tons of cases with many flavors and varieties of grab-and-go soups, meals, sandwiches, and cold brew coffees which I think are a great quick option or to stock up! They also have a lot of yummy cookies and pastries and fun latte flavors with tasty cold foams etc. I tried the "nutella ella" latte which was very tasty, and the vampire breakfast sandwich. Oh my god - this sandwich is possibly the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. I don't usually love breakfast but this was so good I will be thinking about it all week!!! You have to try it. They also have online or mobile ordering for pick up. Everyone was so nice and the food was fantastic, I can't wait to try it again! read more

I was in the area for work and decided to stop in as I heard they had some March specialty drinks. Parking lot is a bit small however cars move in and out quickly so I was able to get a spot in a few minutes. I was greeted upon entry and waited on quickly. I got the shamrock shuffle drink which is cute to look at and tastes just as delicious as it looks. I was a little sad there was nowhere to sit inside however it's a small place and there isn't enough too but they do have a table and chairs outside. read more

I was so excited to finally check this place out after seeing it all over my social media! I wish I had gone on a sunnier day, as I didn't realize they didn't have any indoor seating available. It was a typical rainy day in Pittsburgh so we ate in the car! I ordered the Pie, Felicia - a banana cream pie inspired iced latte - off their July specials menu. YUM! The banana flavor was subtle and not too artificial tasting. And the topping was sweet and fluffy. My friend ordered an iced chai and liked it! For food, I ordered the Speecy Spicy on a plain bagel and my friend got a bacon breakfast burrito. You also have the option to build your own breakfast sandwich of your choice- which I love having the option to do! These were so filling and satisfying. The speecy spicy wasn't too spicy, the bang bang sauce added a sweet heat to the sandwich, and I loved it! I also purchased a pack of mini chocolate chip cookies to take home, they looked too perfect to pass up. And I can confirm they are delicious. I have to give a shoutout to the staff as well, it was crowded and busy inside on a Monday, but everyone was working diligently and with a smile on their faces. They also have a ton of grab and go options of prepared food, cold sandwiches, and salads that you should check out if you're in the area and in a pinch for something to eat! read more

I'm new to town and stumbled upon this gem. The menu has the best of both worlds - savory and sweet and their drink menus is a coffee lovers dream (although they have other options). What really sealed the deal was how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff was and I will definitely be going back. Just look at this sandwich. I highly recommend trying it out! read more
Curbside on the Run never disappoints. The business operation is run perfectly. They are takeout only, but so many incredible options. They do offer online ordering so you can place your order in route to the storefront. Tons of prepared food to grab and go- from sandwiches to soups to dinners. Plus, a variety of sweet treats. A full coffee bar with delicious drink flavors and so many creative seasonal flavors. They also have smoothies and made to order breakfast sandwiches. Owned and operated by the queen of caffeine- we love supporting a woman owned business!!! The staff are amazing and so friendly, they greet you as soon as you walk in. While there, I tried a few new, specialty items- the New Year Fresh Start latte- toasted marshmallow, cookie butter and topped with marshmallow cream- wow- this latte was so delicious!!!! Then I tried the Sunny Buttercup a new January smoothie. This smoothie was both healthy & yummy- filled with nutrients! My husband and I LOVE it here! This was our first time visiting their new location, and it was adorable! We love all of the graffiti-like painting all over the building. It was so bright and made me smile! Inside there are just so many items to look at and everything looks amazing. There are soups, spreads, salads and even ice cream in the freezer! The cookies, cupcakes and breakfast pastries lined the shelves. The sandwiches in the cases were massive! We were there for coffee and breakfast. My husband had the iced bourbon caramel cold brew, he loved it. He had the sausage, egg and cheese muffin- it came with THREE sausage patties. It was the biggest egg sandwich I have ever seen! I had the avocado toast, and that was a half portion in the pic. It had everything but the bagel seasoning on it and sprouts. This place is a true gem. 1000000/10. It is definitely pricey for a breakfast sandwich and latte, but it is absolutely worth it. Every latte I've had has been fantastic and when I finally tried food it was a solid 12/10. My husband loved his and so did my 2 year old! Service was great as always. But we always make sure we come when it's not super busy, as there is not much parking.
