The carrot cake latte caught my eye. I placed my order with a friendly barista. She made sure to ask what size drink size (16 oz or 20 oz options for an iced drink) and if regular milk was okay. There were plenty of alternative milk options, but I believe there is an extra fee for adjusting so make sure to ask if that matters. I noticed a nice combo option on one of their signs offering a drink and bagel sandwich for $13, before 2 pm. Specific options only, but I will for sure try that next time. There were seating options inside and outside. It seemed like a decent spot to get some work accomplished in a relatively quiet environment. My drink was prepared quickly and had a good ratio of coffee to cheese foam. The cutest little carrot topping was added too. I actually wished there was a little more ice added to my drink. I went home and added it myself and the iced latte was my ideal temperature.

Just gave me the address and said "street parking bro... good luck." Pull up and this place looks like your childhood friend's house that grew up, got a little money, found peace and turned into a café . Super cozy, cool vibe and honestly just has personality to it. Walked in and instantly greeted by Elena and let me tell you... Elena wasn't taking orders she was basically an offensive coordinator drawing up plays for breakfast lol . I told her it was my first time and she goes "I got you." That's all I needed to hear. She hooked me up with the Berry Blossom Milk Tea, Ultra Violet iced coffee, blueberry muffin and the breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado. Now the drinks? Solid. That Ultra Violet coffee had lavender, caramel and honey all entering the chat at once like they were forming the Avengers . Somehow it worked. Then came the burrito... now listen... at first I'm sitting there like "alright everybody calm down it's just a breakfast burrito." WRONG. This thing came out throwing hands immediately eggs, potatoes, bacon, avocado all packed into this perfectly toasted tortilla. Then the salsa showed up like a surprise guest star and took the whole thing to another level. I almost looked around for somebody's grandma in the back yelling "make sure that boy leaves full!" Sat outside watching the A's game, drinking coffee, enjoying the breeze and honestly it was the perfect Sunday reset. Steve my brother... you absolutely crushed this recommendation

The people that work there were so cool! I'm thinking about moving to the area and they were really great about giving me a lot of suggestions of neighborhoods to look at. It seems that they specialize in a lot of iced flavored coffees, as that is what I saw most of the people that were there when I was getting. I just wanted a latte with a little bit of honey and cinnamon. Was kind of surprised that they don't carry cinnamon at their shop, that's a coffee shop staple. I did enjoy the latte, though, the roast on the beans was very nice. The vibe in this old home is so cool, lots of people just chatting and hanging out. Was a really great place to pass a little time in a beautiful neighborhood. I would return to this coffee shop. I didn't try any of the pastries that were available, but I did see a case with a selection.

One thing I especially appreciated is how they treat pets. It's clear they care, every dog that came in got a treat, which was a really nice touch. The coffee is excellent, not over-roasted like in a lot of places. While you're waiting in line, they even offer samples, which is awesome. I had a latte with regular milk and was very happy with it. As for the food, the bacon and onion croissant really stood out, very tasty ( though I imagine it would be even better warm ). The caramel apple cheesecake was also incredible, delicious and not overly sweet, even though the name might make you think otherwise. Overall, if you get a chance to stop by for breakfast, you definitely won't regret it. Thank you!

As typical with Temple Coffee, the quality of the drinks are top notch and really is the gold standard in Sacramento. Prices are on the higher side for these premium selections so be aware of that if you haven't been to a Temple before. This location is a bit smaller and has less unique features than other ones. It's perfectly serviceable for a cafe, but the ambiance isn't on par when you compare them. The service, however, was superb. I found the baristas there to be very friendly and warm. It's hard to go wrong with Temple, and if you/re looking for a great coffee drink and near this one, it's certainly worth the visit!

I have seen others post about the burger and every time they share photos on social media I would tell myself I need to try it. Well, the day finally came, I stopped in for lunch with my dog and ordered their honeycomb cold brew and the Cove Burger with fries and then grabbed one of the small tables outside. This restaurant truly maximizes it's space with seating inside and a couple tables outside. It gets great natural lighting and the front counter is prominent when you first walk in making the whole flow of the place very thoughtful and smooth. The team is so friendly, from the owner Jon to the amazing team working in the kitchen and on drinks. They're all so nice to interact with and always have great suggestions and service. My normal order here is the flat white and I've been working my way through their menu. Everything is delicious, high quality and fresh. If you get a chance to try their fresh baked cookies- do it! The Anzac biscuit with a cup of coffee is a perfect pair! All the breakfast items are amazing and the bacon is THICK. Back to my latest visit: Jon brought out my burger and cold brew and it was BEAUTIFUL (photos included for proof). The patty was flavorful, the bun was unbelievably fluffy and soft, and it had the perfect ratio of cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion. The special sauce was the perfect touch- I didn't need any extra sauce with it, it was perfect as is. The fries are an optional add on and I decided to go for it so I could share some with my dog, and there was a very generous portion of crinkle cut fries. They were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The honeycomb cold brew was DELICIOUS. I typically get the flat white, but like to explore their specialty drinks. They're known for having amazing drink offerings. I've been told their matcha is top tier (though I'm not personally a fan of matcha) but their coffee always hits for me. This is one of my favorite cafes in the Sacramento area, especially when it comes to great drinks paired with a real meal.

The Black Sesame French Toast was fantastic! We also got the Date-Orange Latte and the Salted Honey Lavender Latte, both tasted great! Our three drinks took less than 10 minutes, and I think the French Toast took exactly ten minutes. Not long at all, and it was busy when we were there(11am). My order was to-go, and they were all perfectly packaged! I so appreciate the front girl answering all my silly questions, the efficiency of the team, getting to watch the man in the kitchen do his work, and the clean and inviting presence of the place. My daughter brought in her baby milk and spilt some, only for one of the guys to clean it up quickly. I so appreciate you guys!! There was a challenge, as I also spoke with the front girl about, but parking is competitive. All the parking spots were taken. Some parking spots were reserved for the neighboring businesses, so I found parking on the roadside. Is it possible to expand the parking lot? It's tough to give patronage to this great business with this challenge. I suppose it's a good problem to have when many people want to come here ;)

The Good Side Coffee just earned a permanent spot on my mental "I will be back" list…read more From the moment I pulled up, I already knew this place was different. Corner location, actual side parking (which is rare), and the whole space just looks... intentional. Modern, clean, and aesthetically dialed in without feeling try-hard. And then you walk in. It's beautiful in there. Like -- genuinely one of the cutest coffee shops I've been in. The mural alone deserves its own moment, and even the restroom is thoughtfully designed (yes, I notice these things). Everything feels clean, polished, and almost hotel-lobby level nice. You would never guess they've been open for six years -- it looks brand new. Now let's talk about the experience. Eva at the register was super helpful. I told her straight up -- I didn't want to order my usual mocha because I didn't want to compare it to Starbucks or Dutch Bros and set myself up for disappointment. She helped guide me toward something different, and that was the best decision I could've made. Enter: the Raspberry Nirvana. It's a mocha with raspberry, strawberry, and vanilla -- and I accidentally ordered it iced at first. Took one sip and immediately thought, this is so good... I wish it was hot. Realized that's what I originally wanted, brought it back, and they remade it quickly with zero attitude. Just kindness and efficiency. Shoutout to the manager (who was the one remaking it) -- super nice, no hesitation, just handled it. Now the drink itself? Ridiculous. The hot version? Even better. The flavor is so specific and layered that it doesn't taste like something you could just find anywhere. It's the kind of drink you don't just enjoy in the moment -- it's the kind you think about later. Like, "I need to go back and get that exact drink again." That's rare. It's not just sweet. It's not just coffee. It's balanced in a way that feels intentional -- like someone actually cared about how those flavors hit together. We also got plenty of seating, the vibe stayed calm and welcoming, and the whole place just felt... easy to be in. Between: * The aesthetic * The cleanliness * The genuinely kind staff * And a drink that's now stuck in my brain Yeah -- they're on my good side for real. If you're like me and don't want to order your usual because you don't want to compare it to big chains, do yourself a favor and try something new here. Let them guide you. Because now when I think "raspberry mocha," I'm not thinking about anywhere else -- I'm thinking about The Good Side Coffee. And I'll absolutely be back.
