Pretty packaging, heating instructions, and company purpose.

I am fortunate enough to be local, so I picked up an order of chocolate M candy cookies half-dipped with chocolate today. I can't resist this type of cookie, so I had to order for myself as a Mother's Day gift. The two women working were so friendly (and I believe one of them was the owner). She explained that the cookies were fairly large (fine by me), so they'd separated them into two boxes. They were beautifully packaged and even had instructions on how best to heat them for a "fresh out of the oven" taste. We didn't even get out of the parking lot before I opened one of the boxes to try the cookies. Ridiculously delicious and everything I like about a soft cookie. I will be back for more, sooner rather than later.

Saw their story recently on a CBS special. Felt bad for the owner for the unexpected challenges they are facing. So I decided to support by purchasing some cookies and get them shipped to me. I was neverous that by the time I got the cookies they would be hard. But to my surprise they are packaged air sealed along with with a moisture preventer inside the box. Cookies were super soft and tasty. If you in the area stop by. And if you live a distance like me, order a batch & support l plan to get more and have them shipped to family.

Danish Butter Cookie

Not only was CurlyTop Baker incredibly generous to donate their amazing cookies to our community outreach project, but they also let us try their new Danish Butter Cookie (made especially for the Raiders!) and it was delicious!!! What a fantastic company! They make your cookies to order and specialize in wholesale orders. We can't say enough about how wonderful they are and what an amazing asset they are to our community!

Never heard of these but I was looking for a snack during my break at Sam's club today in Honolulu. I normally don't but pre-packaged cookies but they looked good - I'm shocked at how soft they are and they seem so fresh! I'm interested in trying more from them now!

I loved this cookie! It was so soft & delicious. Definitely will be checking out CurlyTop to buy more. 10/10 recommend.

Owned by Angela Pepe, CurlyTop Baker began as a project to feed Las Vegas' homeless population, and operating out of a commissary kitchen in Henderson the staff has not only donated nearly 30,000 Cookies since inception, but also a portion of the proceeds. Offered at ~$2 per palm-sized round, and baked fresh daily from high quality Ingredients "including real creamy Butter, pure Vanilla and cage-free Eggs" it is via E-mail or online shop that options can be perused before placing orders, over eighteen CurlyTop varieties available with the added ability to customize. Known to distribute Cookies across the Valley each week, and offering shipping as well as pick-up at 2540 Anthem Village Drive, it was midday Wednesday that four dozen Cookies were collected at noon, limited hours something of an encumbrance though curbside delivery is complimentary during Covid-19 times. Largely building on a single base with various Toppings and Mix-ins, a golden edge and soft-center occasionally crumbling as a result of Batter spread too thin, CuryTop's "Chocolate Chunk" can best be thought of as Angela's reference point, the mix of Semi-Sweet Chips and Dark Chocolate Chunks texturally pleasing whether together alone or alongside White Chocolate, Bacon, Walnuts or Potato Chips. Continuing with the same Dough, but adding toasty Oats to create a reference-standard "Curly Oatmeal Chip Cookie," those seeking something a little sweeter will find it in either Oreo-studded "Cookies n Cream" or "CurlyTop Campfire" with Graham Cracker Crumbs and melted Marshmallows. Getting a bit messy with "Raspberry B&W," though the Cookie's taste and consistency is splendid, those less fond of Chocolate will find CurlyTop's "Curly French Toast" not unlike a Snickerdoodle with added crunch while pop-culture referencing "Tiger King Crunch" dials things up a notch with Crystal Sugar and Frosted Flakes. Adding good Cocoa to the base for two more, "Curly Velvet" moist but fairly one-note, "Chocolate Explosion" delivers on its name from edge-to-edge with both Chips and Chunks melted into a chewy Cake-like matrix.

Curly Top Bakers ROCKS!!!! We did a donation, during the Covid lockdown, to the local hospitals and Curly Top Baker made 8 dozen gorgeous yummy cookies and delivered them, on our behalf, to two local hospitals on our behalf. I'm sure the cookies were gone in no time and can't wait to be able to taste them ourselves! So excited to be able to patronize a local business and give back to the community as a HUGE Thank you during this time!!!

I have followed Angela's journey since she birthed this business into existence from scratch. One thing that stands out is that she remains consistent, creative and compassionate to give back to her community. This business truly is more than just another cookie for her. Not only are her cookies top notch, but the quality of her character is dependable and inspiring. Her gourmet portions are well worth the price point to splurge on a product made with love. Her heart to give back is even bigger. These are a hit every time I share them and it's really hard fighting the desire to hoard any of her many mouth-watering flavors. The Curly Velvet is a personal fave and ordering is an easy process. This is a small business worth supporting.

I've eaten a lot of cookies in my life but none as delicious as these. I found out about this small business from a friend of mine and reached out to order some cookies. Angela, who owns the bakery and bakes these delicious morsels from heaven, is a pleasure to work with! I ordered a tray for my office and some for my house. Everyone at work loved the cookies. We ordered a mix of red velvet, curly top m's which have chocolate covered candies in them, and the OG chocolate chip cookie. Trust me when I say they were ALL delicious. I don't know how she can make such flavorful yet light and fluffy cookies!! I can't wait to order from here again. The best part is part of her sales go to help the local homeless community and other charitable organizations. I've never had a better cookie.

My husband really love the chocolate tart. It wasn't overly sweet or too rich! I also like the other vanilla pastry as well. All were so delicious. This place never disappoints. Lobster croissant $29...overdressed, very soggy (dripping with dressing). And topped off with more aioli making it soggy and mushy. Meat tasted rubbery and over cooked. Disappointed. Ordered "iced" double espresso, came out hot. Raspberry-blueberry tart was fine... Price listed $8.95, but price came out $9.25 on the check. Need to update prices to match. Overall bill was $52.35. Sand which not worth it. Servers was nice, but not familiar with menu, and didn't realize she made the coffee incorrectly. Love supporting local business, place has potential... Will give it another go.... may have been an off day for them (looks like they were doing an inspection, so could have thrown them off their game)

We ordered the Ube Cake online, and the slice hit the spot perfectly. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. The ube cake was definitely the highlight for me. Would definitely grab another slice next time I'm craving something purple and delicious!

We ordered two cappuccinos, a mocha, two Berries crepes, and the Short Rib Sandwich. The cappuccinos were perfectly balanced with rich espresso and silky foam, while the mocha was smooth, chocolatey, and not overly sweet. The Berries crepes were incredible -- topped with fresh berries, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream, light yet indulgent at the same time. The Short Rib Sandwich completely stole the show: tender braised short rib with Gruyère cheese, Dijon mayo, and arugula tossed in citrus sauce on warm ciabatta. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Even with the Mother's Day rush, the atmosphere still felt warm and charming, like a little French café tucked away in Henderson. You could tell the staff was hustling nonstop, but the food and experience never suffered. This place lives up to the hype and then some. We'll definitely be back.

We learned they also have a sister restaurant - Le Cafe du Sud in Southern Highlands. This is a counter service establishment - you get in line to order and pay and get our number and find a seat. There is a lot of menu items and ready made pastries so your eyes will have to move quickly to decide on your final order. There are plenty of seats indoors and out, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. And water is self service as well. * Raclette Galette $15.99 - This gluten-free buckwheat crepe is served with raclette cheese, sunny side up egg, potatoes, bacon and ham. I love a buckwheat crepe and there's actually a place in town that I just love their version. At Le Cafe Du Val, they do prefer to cook theirs a little more on the softer side which I didn't realize. After a bite or two, I went and asked if this was typically how their galette is cooked. It was confirmed that yes, they do prefer it softer. They offered to remake mine which I initially declined but they insisted as they wanted me to be happy with it. So I agreed. I still found their version decent, but not exceptional. * Short Ribs Shakshouka $17.99 - This was on their Specials menu and was served with 7 pieces of baguette slices. It was good. * Melba Crepe $13.99 - It's a sweet crepe that's topped with poached peach, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream. It's simple and exactly as described. * Mini Lobster Rolls $18.99 - The lobster meat is mixed with celery, chives, and mayo and served on a butter toasted brioche buns. These are indeed mini rolls, so you may be hungry after eating them. Service - there really isn't too much to talk about as you order at the register and have minimal contact with the staff beyond them bringing the order to your table. I had to bring my plate to the staff member when I had the issue. I do appreciate their desire to fix my order though. Overall, Le Cafe du Val was just an okay experience for us. The food didn't stand out for us in the way that we hoped.

The fries are so good - definitely too messy to be considered finger food but the sauce makes using a fork 100% worth the effort. The pita bread was the perfect level of crispy on the outside while remaining warm and tender on the inside. I could eat a giant stack of those tasty triangles!
