Wonderfully flavored goat curry. Just the right spiciness and really deep authentic Indian flavors. The host was really nice and shared some interesting stories. I would visit this place again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful food, friendly service and an adventurous atmosphere with creative drinks and options. Highly recommend the majority of the menu; I'll be back for the rest ‍

I'm visiting the area and we ordered take out. I got chicken tikka and gobi Manchurian. The chicken tikka was so bland and watery, the gobi Manchurian was chewy and also bland. My friends got butter chicken and garlic naan. All bland and butter chicken watery. The woman who took my order was pleasant and the food was fast but it felt like the food did not stew enough? We ended up throwing a majority of it away which I've never had to do. The only redeeming thing was the samosa chaat which was good.

Eh, unfortunately today's order wasn't as good as the previous times I've had the butter chicken. Immediately when I removed the food from the bag I noticed a difference in color of the sauce. I also don't like when restaurants switch up containers because it makes me believe there is a reduction in portion size. I believe the butter chicken was once served in a larger container and now it's served in a small plastic container ($18 per serving). I ordered two servings of butter chicken but my rice was combined in one order. 1. this makes an assumption that both orders will eventually end up in the same place and 2. I feel like I received less rice.

I ordered for takeout and got the Chicken Tikka Masala (spice level: hot), the lamb samosa, and plain naan. I wondered about how big the portions were, but my entree came out to be a very nice size. The gentleman at the front was very friendly when I came in to pick up my order and the restaurant looked clean and inviting - nice vibe. The samosas were amazing...the only thing is there's a light dusting of seasoning on the outer shell and there was a tad too much which made it a bit salty. Otherwise, everything was excellent!

Delicious Indian food, with clear descriptions. We had chicken saag and shrimp biryani and vegetable fritter appetizer. They didn't make us feel rushed at all and my friend's food was a little too spicy so they brought her lemons and more raitti to cool it down. We'd come back anytime!

Came in at 2 pm and ordered the lunch specials. It said it came a salad - we didn't get that. An app - when asked what it was she said "a surprise" ... when it came I asked what it was? She had no idea. I asked if they had garlic naan - she said no. Menu said yes. Anyways - We were the only table in there and it was freezing inside we literally wore our winter coats inside and while eating. We asked why it was so cold... it just is. Waitress, who was also the hostess, was super forgetful and just not attentive. On her phone at the host stand while our cups were empty. Bad service aside the food was even worse. The worse Indian food I've had in my life. The chicken tiki Marsala was bright red, not brown like I'm used to and tasted like tomato. The rice must've been at the bottom of the rice cooker cause it was hard as a rock and lumped together. I think the worse part of the whole thing was right at 3 pm they turned the lights off on us! The waitress said it was on a timer. She handed us a little iPad pay thing and that was it. There are many other Indian restaurants around the area AVOID this one. 0/10 stars.

My fiancé was running lunch-time errands in Owings Mills recently, so I did a Yelp search for restaurants with vegetarian options. Most Indian restaurants offer tasty, no-meat options, so when I located Curry and Spice Bar after a Yelp search, I quickly ordered through the app. It took longer to decide exactly what I wanted to try, because the menu is not in English. I literally has to google all of the options for the vegetarian section of the menu. English sub caption would have definitely been appreciated, but it wasn't a huge issue. I had the mulligatawny soup with rice, which was a simple yet flavorful dish. My fiancé, who is a huge fan of spicy foods, had the Dal Makhani. The flavors were very good, but the spice was a bit overwhelming. We also had an order of the Gobi Manchurian to share. It was well seasoned, but they were just a tad bit heavy on the batter. All and all, I really enjoyed the food.

Curry and Spice bar in Owings Mills, MD is the place to go for Indian food and a good cocktail. They were friendly and very accommodating to me and the bar, where I sat, was nice. Oh, and the naan? 10/10! Enjoy

I've been here 3x each time I regret it based on service. The food is great and authentic, the service is not black American friendly even with a black woman working at the front she's super rude and not patron friendly unless again you're white or south Asia. I've been sitting here for 30 min and she's come to check on me when I'm ready to go. sadly I will be back for take out because the food is good, I'm hoping the can better their service and it's not deliberate.

First time here. Had reservations for Mother's Day, so my party was seated fairly quickly as they prepared the tables. It's a bit small inside but the presentation is nice and has good music. Ordered drinks which came fast. Afterwards, had some appetizers and they were delicious. The main course was great as well. We were always waited on and asked if everything was good.

The décor and ambience of this restaurant is so serene and welcoming. As always, they start you off with a basket of Papadum (light crispy Indian wafers) and two dipping sauces. These are really delicious and a wonderful introduction to Indian food. Our foods started with an order of split Vegetable and Chicken Momo dumplings that were marinated in Nepali spices stuffed in flour wrapped and steamed and served with a special chutney. For our friends' main course, they split a Chicken Tikka Masala, which was boneless white meat chicken cooked with onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers. They also ordered Naan - the traditional unleavened white bread. My husband had his favorite, the Tandoori Shrimp. It was a very generous portion of jumbo shrimp marinated in an herb mixture and delicately broiled in our tandoori clay oven served with mixed vegetables. This came out sizzling. This came with a side of spinach that was more like a creamed spinach. It was the best we have ever tasted! It was creamy with the best seasoning. I decided to try something new and ordered the Chicken Pista Korma which was White meat chicken simmered in a mild pistachio sauce. I would have like smaller pieces of chicken, but the sauce was delicate and delicious. All of our entrees came with basmati rice. The portions are so generous we all had something to take home for another meal. Our servers were very attentive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed another great meal at Indian Ocean.

Our group of six went to Hyderabad Stories in Cockeysville planning to dive into their lunch buffet, only to find out they no longer offer it. Since we were already there and hungry, we decided to stick around and order from the regular menu and honestly, it worked out just fine. The space used to be San Sushi before the owner retired, and the interior layout is pretty much the same. It is simple and perfectly serviceable for small to medium groups. When we visited, we were actually the only occupied table, which made for a quiet and relaxed lunch. Since there was no official buffet, we decided to make our own by ordering a half dozen dishes to share. We went with a variety of curries, multiple biryanis, butter chicken, samosas, and plenty of naan for the table. Everything came out at a great pace and the service was very friendly and efficient throughout. The curries were the highlight for me. Some were dialed up with extra heat for the spice lovers at the table, while others were milder, but all of them were packed with flavor and tasted fresh. The biryanis were also excellent, with generous portions of both lamb and chicken. No skimping on the protein here. Pricing was reasonable, and when we split the bill it came out to about what each of us would typically spend at an Indian lunch buffet anyway. Overall, even without the buffet option, Hyderabad Stories is a great Indian food choice in the area and definitely worth checking out if you are craving flavorful curries and solid biryani.

The name "Sangam," which means "meeting and getting along," evokes the spirit of mutual trust inspired by a classic Indian film of the same name. This romantic notion sets the stage for a delightful culinary experience. Upon entering, you might not find opulence, but the restaurant exudes a cool, neat vibe. The ambiance is unpretentious, with two diligent South Indian girls serving food with a warm smile, creating a welcoming environment. The menu is a treasure trove of South Indian dishes, many of which may seem unfamiliar, especially for those from a Punjabi or Pakistani background. Though the choices can be overwhelming, the restaurant is particularly renowned for its Masala Dosa--a must-try for any visitor. Here are some of our favorite selections: Sukha Goshat: A flavorful dish reminiscent of bhuna meat, prepared with an array of spices, served alongside naan or paratha--perfect for a satisfying meal. Biryani: Their biryanis are noteworthy, bursting with rich flavors that stand out. Appetizers: We often start with Chicken 65 or Fish Chilli.
