Great pumpkin curry, very warming and not too oily. Everyone was super nice & the seating was comfortable and spacious.

Hot and huge delicious portions. Affordable and fresh tasty food. The new ownership is clearly upgrading the food.

A huge, delicious bowl of food.

I was in town, and decided to stop for lunch. The place was spotless, and everyone was friendly. I had the seafood scrambled egg chow fun. Chow fun noodles with shrimp, squid, eggs, fish cake, and veggies. Lunch came, and it was *HUGE!* It was like a stew. Plenty of ingredients, and everything tasted great. None of the seafood or veggies were under or overcooked. The only thing I could possibly say, was that the broth was a tiny bit salty for my personal taste, but not overly so. I know that everyone's tastes are different. There was enough food for two full meals. The price was reasonable, especially for all the food that I got. I want to come back again. Thanks!!

I appreciate the flavors found at Curry Leaf because there aren't a lot of places to find them in Humboldt County. Also, this is super conveniently located just off the main road between Eureka and Arcata and very close to the shopping you do when you're running errands. I always find the place a little cold, but to be fair, I run on the cold side so I know to take a jacket. Aside from that it's bright and open and there is a beautiful fountain that sets a nice ambiance. We went for lunch today and the friendly gal who greeted and seated us then got our water, took our orders, and delivered our food. She was on top of it all and we didn't wait for anything. They have something for everyone here; veggies, meat, seafood, soups, noodles, rice dishes, sushi and drinks. My wife had the veggie stir fry which was plenty big to share. It came with white rice, a spring roll and miso soup. The stir fry had a good non spicy taste, which is the way she likes it. I had the spicy eggplant stir fry, which also came with white rice, a spring roll, and miso soup. The serving was big, could have been shared between diners if you decide to eat family style. The food came out piping hot, it always has when I have eaten here. The eggplant was very good, a nice amount of spice. I asked to add chicken to my lunch. Today it came out with fried chicken bites, like you would find in General Tao's chicken. The last time I added chicken to my meal here it was baked and much better. I spoke to the server about it and she advised me to specify how I wanted it next time I ordered it. I wasn't really upset about this. I am not fond of that kind of chicken but it makes sense that I could have been more clear. I'm only bringing it up so others can be aware and specify. We both had enough leftover to bring home for a dinner. We were in and out quickly, not rushed but also not waiting impatiently. I'm overall pleased with the experience and plan to keep this place in mind when I'm out running around.

We enjoyed generous servings of pork fried rice, excellent chicken satay and crispy egg rolls. All absolutely delicious. Great fresh ingredients, wonderful and tasty preparations. Always very good service, even when taking carryout. And the dang candies they give out after dining are soooo incredibly yummy. I think it's guava, perhaps. Refreshing and a nice surprise in my mouth. As always, delightful. We will return soon. Did I mention the FREE off street parking? Beautiful dining room. Spotless kitchen.

Our family is part Cambodian, so where we live there are some restaurants but not close by so we jumped on the opportunity especially since it was nearby where we were staying. Definitely left satisfied and it felt nice to have the food since we were far from home. Service was great and attentive and glad they didn't mind we came within the last hour and let us take our time since we had a long day in the park which we enjoyed with our 7 month old. Don't really know the area so to us it seemed hidden. But people were coming in constantly picking up orders . So I'm sure it's well known and popular. The ambience is nice inside, and would recommend if you like Cambodian food or haven't tried it. Looking forward to bringing more family with us next time we come back in the area.

A Tale of Two WOKINs: A Journey from SoCal to NorCal in Search of the Perfect Bite…read more Every family has a story, a collection of moments stitched together with love, laughter, and--if you're lucky--really, really good Chinese food. Ours begins in Redlands, California, where a humble, hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant called WOK IN became more than just a place to grab takeout. It became a second home. A young couple owned it, pouring their heart and soul into every dish, and over the years, we grew close, bonding over sizzling woks and steaming bowls of comfort. But life, as it often does, led us north. A new chapter. A fresh start. And while we embraced the adventure, there was one thing missing--a place that felt like our place, a little corner of the world where good food and good people came together. For nearly a year, we searched. And then, like a beacon in the fog of hunger, we found it: WOK IN WOK OUT in Eureka, California. I told my wife about it, cautiously optimistic, but she met my excitement with skepticism. "Let's see if it's the same," she said, as only a woman who has been burned by disappointing takeout before can say. So we did. The order was simple: Kung Pao Chicken, soup, and Pad Thai. The stakes? Immensely high. One bite in, and suddenly, it wasn't just dinner--it was a rediscovery. The flavors were bold, the textures perfect, the spice hitting just right. And then, the true test: my wife, pregnant and all, gave me the nod. It didn't make her sick. That, my friends, is the highest praise a restaurant can receive in our household. While nothing will replace our forever WOK IN family in SoCal, WOK IN WOK OUT has given us a new home for comfort food up here in NorCal. It's not just about the food--it's about the feeling, the nostalgia, the quiet joy of finding a place where you belong. So, to the good people at WOK IN WOK OUT: thank you. You've given us more than just a meal--you've given us a piece of home. -Jacob Williams

I pulled up, and the lady comes out to talk to me, she asked me if I had been there before and I said I didn't. She said take a look at the menu, and I will come back to you. It turns out she was going back-and-forth between being the cashier, and taking orders. If they had a box, it wasn't working. I decided to go with the pulled pork sandwich on a baguette, I chose all of the veggies, with no cheese or avocado, which was extra price. I requested the barbecue sauce, which was the non-spicy version. The sandwich was excellent. The baguette was a very high-quality roll, the pulled pork was savory, and all of the veggies were nice and crisp. The barbecue sauce tasted like it was a vinegar based, and it had a great "Tang" to it. It provided a nice pop of acid to offset the richness of the pulled pork. I could only finish half of my sandwich, and I had the other half for dinner. The sandwich came out to $14 and change after tax, , which was reasonable for such a good sandwich. The reason I'm taking off a star, is because of the wait time. The wait time from when I pulled up till when I pulled out with my sandwich was roughly 15 minutes. That's quite a wait for a sandwich. You can order ahead online, but you still have to wait in the line to pick up your food. They do delivery, but they only do one delivery run a day at 11 AM, and so you have to get your order in on time. They shouldn't have the person running back-and-forth between being cashier, and taking orders as well. Maybe have another person taking orders. Hopefully the next time I come back, the wait won't be so long. I wish these guys would get a "brick-and-mortar." They would do very well. Thank you!
