The naan was pretty bland, the chicken tikka masala was ok but the samosas were flavorful, though it seemed like they used shredded/hashbrown potatoes inside. The tamarind chutney was disappointing, tasted watered down. Prices and portion size were average. read more

Great Indian food from a hole-in-the-wall in Flower Mound. Glad to see they're surviving the pandemic!

This was our first time in, really loved the lamb curry. My wife enjoyed the chicken hyderabadi. The service was fantastic as well.

First time I tried this place was when a friend got to-go for me. He got me the Butter Chicken, it was pretty bomb - he didn't like it because he thought it was a bit too sweet, but it was perfect for me. The atmosphere of this place isn't all that great, but for me as long as the food is bomb, service is good, and I don't get food poisoning - it's good enough for me. Side note: during the hotter days, it could feel really hot in there but again, it doesn't stop me from going back and ordering my go to nomnomnomz. Seating is also kind of limited. Their breakfast buffet is the best Indian food I have ever had, and I'm close to saying it's the most flavorful food I have ever had. When you get to Currys it doesn't look like much. The buffet only has like 6 options on it. I made my plate of food, that I wasn't really sure what everything was, and had no idea what I was about to experience. My fist bite was a flavor explosion in my mouth! I didn't understand how it could be so flavorful and good. My first thought was that I wanted to put everything back and just eat that, until I tried the next thing. Bam, another flavor explosion in my mouth. All 6 options were beyond amazing, and I couldn't pick a favorite. I cannot figure out how they get so many different spices and flavors into their foods to make it so great. I want to say again, possibly the best food I have ever eaten! They also bring you a huge pancake thing, a fried pastry thing, and an idle (not sure how to spell that.). Their chutneys are also delicious. Have only been for non-breakfast buffet one. We got gobi Manchuria and rice and it was really good. My main emphasis here is the incredible breakfast buffet though. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. My only negative was that they use stirofoam instead of real dishes. I feel kinda wasteful. Again, do yourself a favor and try their breakfast buffet and then you can thank me. I freaking love this place! read more

Super fantastic food! They start you off with soup that is an explosion of flavors and so good. Then we had samosa's, nice and big, filled with potatoes and veggies. They come with 2 sauces that complement them perfectly. Then came the chicken tikki masala and garlic naan, best tikki masala I have ever had or dreamed of. We also had the chicken biryani and it was very good too but nothing can top the tikki masala! I can't tell you how excited I am to find this gem of a restaurant. The service was good, the a/c doesn't work very well but honestly I would sit outside in the July sun to have this food. It's that good. Go try it, order a little of everything. I stopped in for the breakfast buffet after reading the great reviews this place had by other people. I thought there was no was it could be as good as everyone claimed, but I was wrong. This place is definitely a hole in the wall kind of place. The breakfast had plenty of options and everything on the buffet was really flavorful. Definitely some of the best Indian food I have eaten in a restaurant. Great customer service- they were very friendly and explained some of the dishes. Only thing I didn't like is that they're using styrofoam dishes, but they've only been open for 4 months, so maybe that's in the works, and the food is just too good! Must try if you haven't been. Great little family place. Food is really good. We had veggie pakora, samosas, chicken tikka masala ( one order of mild, one of regular), garlic naan and regular naan. They offer heat levels of mild, regular, medium and spicy. Mild had no spiciness but plenty of flavor. Regular had a decent amount of heat but not too serious, enough to make you sweat. I could imagine the medium would begin to hurt. :) One piece of advice. The naan is large. So even if you like to dip it in the sauce like we do, don't order too much. Three orders between two hungry people will be more than enough. Seriously...it was all so tasty and very reasonably priced. They only deliver large orders for catering but they are quick in preparation. Call ahead for takeout and it will take about 15-20 mins. read more

To be honest, when I first came here, I really wasn't expecting the food quality I had received. This is a whole in the wall but it really didn't look promising, but I was brought here by my sister who said it was some of the best Indian. It really was! We came with a large group and they were very accommodating and nice despite the noise I'm sure we caused. We ordered multiple dishes and I was disappointed that the meal didn't come with both naan and rice but after alternating and order, we had plenty between all of us! We ordered, the somosas, butter chicken, lamb saag, chicken tikka masala, and lamb vindaloo. Overall the food quality was all excellent, the food came out very hot, the meat was very tender and the spice was perfect. While the meal was def on the pricey side, it was worth every penny! The service was attentive as well, the owner even brought everyone a cup of lentil soup, even though some of us where splitting dishes. While Flower Mound is a far drive from me, I will def be back! read more

Been visiting this place since 2017. South indian tiffin items such as vada and peanut chutney are consistently tasty. The red chutney is very spicy and one needs a strong tummy to eat that. Appetizers such as manchurian, samosa and fritters are excellent and recommended. Veg pulao and entrees are delicious. Quality and freshness are always maintained. We have been going here for years. The food was good enough to make the 50 minute round trip drive even with closer places to home. Got home to eat our food this week and I knew something was off....it didn't taste the same or look the same. I jokingly said must be new ownership.....to which I now see is the truth. Irregular open hours, they suppose to close at 9pm but many times they're already closed earlier than that. Take your customers more serious so they don't make the drive for nothing! Last time I got there at 8.30pm and they were already cleaning the restaurant. When I walked in they asked me what I wanted. "No sorry, we're closed for that". GET IN MY BELLY! This place has officially become my favorite Indian curry restaurant. As an appetizer, the restaurant gives you vegetable soup for free, even if you take your food to-go! Chicken tikka masala is the absolute best here! So tasty, creamy, and perfect. You can order it either mild or spicy, for your preference. I order the curry with rice and also order a side of garlic naan. The portions are very generous so it's safe to share with another person or take some to go! This restaurant is a super casual place in a strip mall next to a grocery store. After reading all of the great reviews, my husband and I decided to try this place. We ordered chicken tikka masala and shrimp vindaloo. All meals come with rice or naan. We ordered one of each (garlic naan). We were each offered a free appetizer soup that was yellow with veggies in it. Overall, the food was okay. It was fresh and tasty, just not as tasty as other places we've eaten at. We recently moved here from the DC area where we were surrounded by amazing ethnic restaurants. We'd like to try a different place next time but will be back to try other meals in the future. read more

Went here with friends the other day for dinner around 7:45-8:00 p.m. We ordered samosa for appetizers. Our main entrées were butter chicken, lamb curry, goat curry, chicken curry, and goat biryani. Butter Chicken- 10/10, would order again. The side of rice was a bit dry and chewy, get the naan instead. Lamb curry/goat curry- the person that dropped it off didn't know the difference. He dropped off the goat curry initially, but then dropped off another "goat curry" but I showed him the receipt and said that I ordered the lamb curry and he quickly changed his mind and said "Oh, this is the lamb curry." True story. Lamb- 9/10 Goat- 7/10 (It was on the bone. Don't feel like gnawing) Chicken Curry- It was chicken. Can't go wrong with chicken. All the proteins had the same curry sauce on top. 8/10 Goat biryani- Had a lot of flavor, but my mouth was confused. Portion size was HUGE (~ 3 servings). I ordered a chicken biryani today and not only was the food much less, but the food itself was not as good. Only got maybe 4 pieces of chicken and the rest was all rice. Not good at all! This place is a real hidden gem. I was craving Indian when I "yelped" to find the highest rated, closest to me Indian food. This place had 4 stars on 160!reviews and was within 5 miles. The ambiance is CLEARLY authentic Indian. No frills. Nothing special. BUT THE FOOD AND SERVICE WERE INCREDIBLE! Sometimes I'm intimidated when I walk into a clearly authentic place that that I'm the only white guy. The man behind the counter was so genuinely interested in me having a good experience. I had the chicken tikka masala and it was crazy good. Probably the best I've ever had... later in my meal a couple of Indian ladies came to eat in their traditional clothing.. very beautiful, ornate and elaborate clothing. What an experience! This is a hole in the wall Indian restaurant that replaced another Indian restaurant that was in the exact same location in the exact same shopping mall in the exact same town. But this one is much better. Not that the other one was bad. It's just that this one is really good. The portions are ridiculously large and the food is high quality. Definitely worth visiting if you're in Flower Mound and want to eat Indian at a place that can probably seat 10 people maximum. read more

7 months back I gave this place 4 stars and praised them for the flavor of their food. Indian food is supposed to be flavorful and not spicy and hot always. They had nailed it. Things seem to have gone downhill at this place. Ordered food again today ... Spinach chicken, Karahi Paneer and a staple from the tandoor grill... the tandoori chicken. Great Indian food. We always go here for the breakfast buffet and to get to go orders. Portions are perfect and I have enjoyed all my orders. I can be a bit picky because I cook Indian food 3 to 5 times a week. The only reason why 4 stars is they have a small and very casual eating area so we often get food to go but we have no issues with that. read more

Awesome. As noted by other diners, it's small, sterile and pretty bland for an interior but what they lack in glitz, they more than make up for in taste and smiling customer service. We had the fried cauliflower appetizer and it was absolutely awesome, I had the baby eggplants in peanut sauce and my wife had the chickpea entree. I had the nonveg platter, which is 2 nonveg curries, naan, rice, and sweet...It is unfortunate that you can't substitute for any other curry.I don't think the cashier understood what I exactly was wanting and didnt understand that I dont mind paying more to mix ( one veg and one nonveg). Also, the cashier didn't seem to understand that can I order a smaller portion of another curry, because since i was getting two curries, i was wanting a third one, but didnt want the typical portion, just the portion that is served with the platter. Moving on...the platter came with Chicken tikka masala and goat curry and I ordered it medium desi (indian) spicy, which it wasnt. I typically don't like Chicken tikka masala at any restaurant or dont order it because majority make it either too sweet or too tomatoey. But, here it was perfect great flavors, but the downside was the chicken was dry. Goat curry was lacking flavor, but the goat was good. Rice was old and the sweet was good. Would i go again, definitely...It was good enough to try different options and give it another chance. I would recommend anyone to give this place a try. read more
