Purchased a brand new RV in April 2017. The handheld remote that controls my jacks and slideouts broke. I called to get a replacement. They told me about a problem with Lippert buying out Atwood which has created a problem with replacing Atwood remotes. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT ON THEIR PROPERTY AGAIN... I called to make appointment for service on my slide out on my camper. They could not get me in for 2 weeks. When I dropped it off they said it would take a week for them to service it, however then then called 4 hours later and said they put an hour of diagnostic and would prefer not to work on it (i.e. They do not have a clue or experience service dept. to work on it). When I went to pick it up, it took 30 minutes for them to find someone from the service department to help me. They ended up charging me $180 for the hour of diagnostics that these dumb shit's did not want to work on. So I guess unless you have a new RV that is under warranty, then they will just have you bring it in so they can get some diagnostic fee, but never do any work. DO NOT take your RV to these incompetent people. read more

Absolutely the worst place to do business. They would not stand behind the new product they sold us (Stealth Toy Hauler) and neither would Stealth. The trailer had a manufacturer leak from an improperly installed awning. Water ran between the walls and between the floor covering from a small hole drilled by mistake, rotting the floor entirely. No water was ever visible. A piece of garbage trailer that was worthless until the entire floor was removed and rebuilt. Curtis was no help at all. Will never buy from them again nor recommend at all. Toasters have a better warranty than trailers - 90 days!!! REALLY! read more

I gave four stars only because they didn't keep us informed as to the progress of our refrigerator repair. When at the end of the day we were told they hadn't gotten to it we weren't to happy...but when we called the next morning we were told it was fixed. The really great thing was that they didn't charge us anything for doing it, we certainly expected to at least pay the minimum diagnostic fee. Thanks for helping us out! read more

I do not recommend Curtis Trailer for replacing your Topper awning fabric. They charge a minimum of 2.5 hours @ $135 an hour for a 45 minute job. I stood in the parking lot and watched the amount of time it took the tech to replace said Toppper Fabric. They also will quote you 2 hours minimum for any small window fabric replacements. We decided to do the 3 fabric replacements on our own and save on the labor. It took my husband 2 hours to replace all of the fabric for the 3 windows. You-tube and a brain will save you alot of $$. Camping world quoted us 1 hour minimum for each small window! I suggest you shop around or just do the work yourself if you can. read more

Purchased a 5th Wheel Keystone Fuzion and what a trailer. Had a few issue's with it at first and took a bit of time to remedy but happy camper now. Having been in the Auto service myself I understand a few of the frustration's I see on Yelp. Problem being shipping/warranty/availability of parts can be trying for customers as well as the repair facility. My last scheduled visit went swiftly and smoothly. On Oct. 21, 2020 we were looking for a used travel trailer. Found one at Curtis RV. Went to see it, and during our walk- thru the dvd/radio player would not work without the remote. The salesman said he would get us the remote. Well, it has been 5 weeks and no remote. Salesman said "sorry, you are stuck with it. It's a used trailer after all. We do not cover that." There is only 1 reason they are even getting a 1 star rating from me, and that is because of the salesman we had. He has been there for a long time and was honest, attentive and helpful. We ended up purchasing a model they displayed at the Expo. There had been, most likely, hundreds of people that walked through it over the course of the 3 days. When we finished the deal and we're going over the trailer we noticed there were interior lights that were malfunctioning (and subsequently other things that were broken). The person above our salesman told us "You can take it to any Keystone dealer and they will take care of you" So, we went ahead and took it home (approx an hour and a half away). My husband took it to the Keystone dealer and they told us that WE were going to have to pay the diagnostics on it!!! Here we go.... call Curtis trailers and they tell us to make a list and bring it back. My husband drives it back up 5 days after we bought it (March 21st), list in hand. They assured him it would be promptly taken care of. We were given the run around, time and time again. Finally, My husband received a voicemail from Christina in the service dept on Fri May 12th telling him it should be ready by Monday. My husband called Monday at the end of his work day and was told it was noted it wouldn't be done until Tues the 16th. I got a voicemail (keep in mind they had been dealing with my husband through this process and shouldn't have called me) saying "Hi, we got the parts today and hopefully get someone on it in the next couple of days".... After pretty much getting rude, we finally got our trailer fixed and back on May 17th!!!! I had almost forgot what it looked like. Absolutely the biggest circus I've ever dealt with! read more

We have talked about getting a small travel trailer for years, and last week finally made the plunge with a 15' Riverside Whitewater Retro 166. We worked with Mike Cournia in sales and he was very patient and helpful with us newbies. There was an issue with the hitch on our maiden outing and they were very accommodating about taking care of it. First off, I'm going to start with the sales portion of this dealership is good. Our Salesman was Cary (who no longer works there) And he was great, extremely helpful and left a good taste in our mouth about Curtis, until we had to bring it in to service... Now I'll get into why this is a 1 star review. The service department is so unorganized and an absolute trainwreck. We've brought our brand new toy hauler in for a few different warranty items, (keys, lights not working..etc) and most recently our walls have started to delaminate, so we brought it back in to get inspected. Well, that was on March 7th, we had a May 1st projected out date which seemed reasonable (seeing as how it took 4 weeks to get keys made..). We call every 2 weeks to check progress. And as of today, our trailer still hasn't even been inspected. A MONTH AND A HALF LATER, OUR TRAILER HAS NOT EVEN BEEN INSPECTED. I work at an auto body shop, I understand that things happen, parts aren't readily available, it is their busy season.. I get it, it happens to us ALL the time.. But I don't let someone's car sit on my lot for 2 months and not even glance at it to see what it needs. That doesn't make ANY sort of logical sense, does it? We will never, as long as we own a trailer, bring it back to Curtis for service. read more

Horrible, horrible customer service. When my travel trailer was brought in for warranty repair (which I purchased from them brand new by the way), somebody attempted to pry open the locked baggage doors damaging them. They ordered in the replacements but only got in one, so I was told. Months later, I was called again about picking up the baggage door and told them I was waiting for the second one to arrive. They then told me they actually had the second one the entire time. Since it had been so long, the decals that go on the baggage doors were gone (given away, sold? who knows) and they are going to charge me for new ones. Apparently after a certain amount of time it's ok for parts to disappear and they charge you for new ones. They said it's been too long to get new ones under warranty even though this was not a warranty issue, THEY DAMAGED the trailer when in their possession. The parts guy told me too bad, it's how it is and to come get the baggage doors by the 27th or they'll be thrown out. Unbelievably rude and poor customer service, I'll never buy another trailer or part from them again. read more

I know we are a little late but i had no idea this was available. We bought a 5h wheel a couple of years ago and traded in our current travel trailer. They gave us a price and said we will put it on the lot for about $3000 more. We figured with the difference between the sales tax (we live in WA) and the hassle of selling it ourselves it wasn't worth the trouble. Bought a brand new 2017 Springdale.My wife and I went to the RV show at the Expo center.We were looking for accessories,but ended up looking at a little larger Sonic and were ready to upgrade.Mike S did a good job.When we went back to the dealership on TV highway.We were stunned to be told that our 2017 Springale that we paid close to 17000 grand for and had taken out 5 times was now only worth 8500!We advertised on Craigslist,and had several RV dealerships contact us offering to sell it for us on consignment for much more,and not even asking about a trade.These guys make an unscrupulous used car dealer look good.Very disappointed.Gave two stars only cause I don't like to pound on people Mike read more

Less than zero really! It is buyer be very very aware when dealing with Curtis Trailers. We purchased a new toy hauler from them and used it several times (less than 1/2 dozen) in 2 years before falling through the floor - it was totally rotten. We discovered that when putting on the awning (either Curtis or the manufacturer) drilled a small hole in the wrong place and didn't repair it. Water ran between the walls and under the floor layment rotting the floor. There was never any visible water. Curtis would not stand behind the product and neither would the manufacturer (we could drive it 1100 miles for the manufacturer to "look" at it at their leisure). Bad customer service to say the least. We have since learned of another trailer by the same manufacturer with the same problem. Not happy with the expense of repairs. Insurance would not cover the repairs as it was a manufacturer problem! Don't buy from Curtis Trailers - they are eager to sell but don't stand behind the products they carry. read more

I went here to look for a travel trailer. The older guy inside came out after he tried finding someone else to help me. He took me outside unlocked a few trailers, and told me if I needed anything he would be inside. What poor customer service. I looked around, and finally this rude lady came out and started yelling at us! She said the trailers I'm looking at are for service not for sale. I'll start by saying we got a good deal on our trailer and it was almost painless. Problems occurred when we dropped the truck off. They forgot to install the port for the trailers lights in the back of the bed and did not notice until we were ready to driveway. They apologized and said we could take the truck with us today if we needed it and we could bring it back and get the fifth wheel next week after promising us we would be leaving with it that day. When we went back to pick up the whole rig i made a comment about it being late and the salesmen was extremely rude and called me something along the lines of "junior". If you're trailer shopping, do yourself a favor, and go to Curtis Trailers. If you want the very best customer service, and the smoothest process, ask for Brian Wheeler. We were treated so well by every staff member we came in contact with, it was unbelievable. They are a no-haggle dealership, so you get a fair price from "go," and you go through the entire purchase with one person-- no "wizard of oz behind the curtain" situation, where your salesperson constantly runs to the manager's office in the back, to "crunch numbers." Such a relief! There was zero pressure, they were so accommodating, and we got EXACTLY what we wanted. Our pre-owned trailer is so gorgeous, and in mint condition. They took the time and care to meticulously check every single part and function, to ensure it was in tip top shape. Brian took the time to patiently walk us through set up, operation, and maintenance, and we were given a DVD with helpful tips. I am unconcerned about continued care, as I know they are there to support us throughout the ownership of our trailer, should issues arise. They even offer new owner workshops! Brian in the parts store was so lovely, and helped us make all necessary purchases, utilizing the healthy discount offered to new owners. My husband and I are in our late 20s and are looking to buy a fifth wheel. I know we don't look like the "typical" people who are genuinely interested in purchasing a RV but they treated us like we were just there for a joke. The man in the office told us they work on rotation and that everyone was busy (as there were 2 salesmen standing doing nothing in the office) then pointed us where to go. After searching the lot and only finding 5 fifth wheels that were unlocked for viewing, we gave up and took our business somewhere else. They didn't want to help us so why should we help them! I seldom write negative reviews so this is the exception. I cant think of a worse review that this. I took my Winnabego Travado in for service on November 12th to have a couple of minor repairs completed. On December 3rd, I picked it up and was told they could not fix my problems. I was not happy with the $865 repair bill for analysis work and told them so. The next day I took the rig to Camping World in Wilsonville and Alan analyzed and fixed both issues for $143. Doing a slow burn, I called Curtis, told them my story, and asked for an adjustment on my bill and complained about their tech. analysis. They said thats the best they could do and blew me off. I asked for the manager and Ozzie called me back. I retold the story and he was worse. Absolutly terrible customer service. I then called VISA and put a hold on the payment and filled out my complaint. I followed up with a letter to the company on December December 14th and asked for a response. Its December 31st and still no answer. I'm done.......These people are horrible. Shop somewhere else. read more

Husband and I just bought a used 2014 trailer and the experience was great, we were happy with the customer service we received. When we looked at it there was no mattress in it, when we picked the trailer up to take it home they had put a mattress in it and we were relieved that we wouldn't have to find and expense one. However, when we got it home and started loading it up we realized the mattress was the wrong size! They put a King mattress in it when it's supposed to be a queen. Owners manual says it's for a queen, and there's at least a foot of mattress hanging off the sides of the bed to where you can't even walk on the sides of the bed. My husband called the salesperson we had worked with and told them and it seemed she had to think about what to say, their conclusion to us was that they "upgraded the mattress". That's not an upgrade!! No option to bring it back and have the right one put in, nothing. It's even still in the plastic. Well now we're stuck with a mattress that doesn't even fit in the trailer and now have to expense a new one and figure out what to do with the king they put in. Putting a mattress that doesn't even fit is not an "upgrade" at all!!! Also, we had 2 concerns that we wanted looked over during their inspection and walk through before we picked it up, and they were obvious things, a couple cabinets inside were so loose when you opened them they felt like they were about to fall off, that wasn't touched. And then the fender flare on the outside was pulled away from the trailer because of missing screws and that was also not touched. We mentioned to them these were the Only things we wanted fixed and they didn't touch them, what kind of inspection doesn't notice and fix the most obvious of things?! Update: was told to call general manager, with whom had no problems correcting the problem and had the proper size mattress waiting for me to pick up right away. read more

I called to have three things repaired on my new 5th wheel under warranty. 1. Propane tanks strap needed replacement because I could not get them reattached. They fixed that correctly. 2. My black sani-rinse was not working. They told me the tube inside was mounted backwards. They fixed that, going to test this shortly. 3. My heater was severely short cycling. When I dropped it off, the person said it was a known issue for those heaters. A few days later they said it was fixed. I asked what they did and they stated the propane tanks were low (they were full even after I picked up the trailer), and that there must have been air in the lines. I was just camping four days and there was no air in the lines because we used the stove and oven. I explained this to them and that I would not pick it up until they fix it right considering it is a known issue. A day later they called me and said it was now fixed and that they replaced a faulty circuit board. WOW!! 4) Part of my paneling came off in the bedroom. They never fixed it even though they told me it was done. I repaired it myself. If you go their for repairs, good luck, and check out to make sure it was done correctly. read more

The only good thing is the selection of trailers. The service you'll receive here is garbage. Today we came (1 hour drive away) fromnour home all the way to the hillsboro location to sign paperwork and take our new trailer home. We were told that our trade did not need to come with us today. " it has no bearing on the sale". We get here (sans trade in). I am told that we cannot take the new trailer home until the trade in is here. So I drove all the way back home ( another 1 hour drive), hook up th trailer, and drive back (an 1 1/2 hour trek). Get here and my wife has just been advised that the trailer we were supposed to take home isnt ready and we have to come back in a couple of days for it. Why in the actual F would I have driven out here, back home and back again, just to go home empty handed??? Would not reccomend!!! Take your money elsewhere. The communication with this business is terrible!!! UPDATE: Vaughn the salesman is GREAT! Open and honest. He had Curtis deliver the trailer to our house 2 days later. The hot water box does not work but as far as Vaughn doing what he could to make things right, he did. read more

I purchased my brand new 22rbs in May 2020 took my first trip end of June. I'm an auto mechanic mostly Japanese import type stuff for 28 years. I know mechanical stuff but I've never even thought about a travel trailer. Anyway Darin was our sales guy and he did good at selling me everything he could. Since I didn't really know what I was doing I took his word as gospel for everything, and I'm not really disappointed in my purchase. What I have a problem with is the Equalizer hitch he sold me 12000 lb trailer weight 1200 lb tongue weight. It worked fine, a little popping here and there but no big deal. After I got back from camping total of 4 hours driving, mostly freeway, the screeching was horrendous. While we were camping I got to looking at my brother-in-laws Eaz-Lift recurve R6 on his toy hauler it has a zerk fitting on the only pivoting part. His like everyone elses trailer in the park had no screeching like mine. I was just told it would be noisy till the paint wears off, but it seems it's noisier now that the paint is worn off. I did some research on the internet and decided to purchase the recurve for my trailer. I texted Darin and asked if I could return the Equalizer hitch and got the run around just to hear the answer of "No, because it's used". Darin says he's never had one returned, I figure it's because they won't take them back after they're used. They did offer to grease it for me or install some vinyl pads for free. I would just rather not have a high maintenance hitch that you have to disassemble after every camping trip and grease. I have disassemble the head and replaced the grade 5 bolts that were bent with grade 8 and put tons of grease in the trunnion and I'll grease the bars and put the pads in for this 4th of July weekend. After that I guess I'm supposed to sell it on craigslist, at least that's what the parts department told me to do. If your buying a new trailer and have no idea whats what I recommend not accepting their offer to sell you an Equalizer hitch unless you carry ear plugs and don't care about your neighbors or other campers. To be fair though the anti sway worked really good when the bars are dry, I'll have to see how it does when it's greased up. read more

Dearest hubby and I bought a new travel trailer from Curtis yesterday, 12/18/15 and are so happy. We worked with Dan and he was fabulous!!! We had searched other places for trailers but were impressed with the quality of the selection as well as the service. He answered all of our questions (but we forgot to ask a couple more). I would've scored 5 stars for this except that the trailer breaks need to be fixed (they did not activate) and the back door needs a deadbolt. Other than that, we are very very happy!!! read more

To add insult to injury they also sold me a very expensive warranty that is next to useless (covers the 3.00 part but not the 300.00 service). Curtis seems uninterested in helping. Bought our trailer new from Curtis 3 years ago. Unfortunately, they do not stand behind their products. We have had our roof inspected yearly and told seals were fine. Now they are saying we have a leak that has caused siding to bubble and there is no recourse.. Curtis will not be getting my business anymore. The service department is AWFUL!! the only redeeming quality is Linda who tries to keep the peace. WE bought the trailer from Curtis, which was a good experience Dan was awesome! ......but the nightmare began after the purchase. We had the trailer for less than a year and get a recall notice. The only place that will do the recall is Curtis, so we take it in...and Linda immediately notices the trailer hitch was installed wrong by a "new guy" at Curtis...good to know a year later! They keep the trailer for over 5 days and finally call to say it is done...but they can not find the paper work, so we miss a weekend of camping. The "guy with our paper work" finally comes to work on a Tuesday, they are quite rude about assisting with the hook up so we can get it off their property. SO we take it camping, and there is a leak, which causes us to have a "no water weekend"...after that fun we take it back to Curtis. The drop off guy was quite put out by our service needs and after 3 days they call to say they made a mistake during the earlier repair, and try to charge us 80$ . After 45 minutes of "your trailer is out there somewhere" a very rude tech agrees to assist in the hook up after throwing a temper tantrum and tools at the trailer hitch. Linda and Dan are truly the only redeeming qualities at this place. ..when we find the next inevitable screw up we will pay the money and go to a different place to have it fixed right the first time. read more

I purchased a brand new Cougar 31' Trailer and at purchase time Mike Curtis was very good at what he has been trained to do. It was a complete lemon and as soon as we drove the POS off the lot there was absolutely no customer service. The slide-out leaked and they ended up having to ship the trailer back to the manufacturer. The DVD was defective, and there was black mold even after they supposedly fixed the leak. We ended up ripping up the carpet and Curtis Trailers never helped us out. I have heard numerous stories about their horrible customer service once they get their money and you drive the RV off their lot. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT NOBODY EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE WORSE THAN CAR SALESMEN, I WOULD RATHER DEAL WITH CAR SALESMEN. read more

We went to Curtis Trailer in Beaverton just to look a a specific trailer we saw they had in stock on their web site. We saw the given trailer, liked it, but it was more than we truly wanted to spend. Our very knowledgeable sales person Jim Snoozy told us they had just taken a 2017 Montana in on trade that was in excellent condition that was close to our upper limit. When we saw it we fell in love with it and decided to purchase it. As we were doing our final walk through, Jim told us that he liked to think of this as the beginning of our relationship, not the end. Little did we know at that time what that truly meant. Everything went smoothly until we were on our way home and our truck broke down. There we were out in the middle of nowhere (thank goodness we still had cell service... barely), we had a towing warranty and triple A, got the truck towed no problem, but we were unable to find anyone to come get the 5th wheel because it was around 730pm. We, after exhausting all other possibilities, called Jim who even though he was at home on the other side of Portland, attempted to find us someone to help. Eventually he told us that he was going to drive back to work, pick up a truck, come get the trailer, and take it back to the storage lot at Curtis. He informed us not to worry about it, that we could come pick it up when the truck was fixed. Well needless to say the truck took 30 days to get fixed, but the sales manager Dan at Curtis trailers never pushed us to pick up the trailer earlier, or gave us any grief about how long it was sitting there. They just kept saying every time I called to let them know we were still waiting on the truck, don't worry just let us know. I highly recommend Curtis Trailer for there customer service. And Jim Snoozy for going out of his way on his time off to be our hero and save the day. read more

I've been going here for a little over a year, mostly to buy parts and accessories. The staff seems mostly interested in staying behind their counter. Their prices are definitely on the high side. We needed a new SAT dome, so I came in to buy a Winegard G2, which I had already researched. They had one left, up high on a shelf, but not priced. When I asked the price, the salesman quoted me retail list price. I mentioned that I could get if for hundreds less online or at Camping World. He asked me if I was a customer. I said "yes, the minute I come in the door I'm a customer, aren't I?" He said if I had bought my RV there I would get a better price for 90 days. OK. Besides feeling like my business doesn't matter, I honestly felt insulted. I bought the dome from PPL Motorhomes for $539, not the $740 they quoted, and I got free shipping. I won't bother them anymore, since my business isn't important to them, and I can get better prices elsewhere. Fine with me. read more
