I wanted to get my mom something special for her 60th birthday and realized she didn't have her birthstone yet. My husband and I ...rather my family really as my Mom also, have been going to Cindy for all our jewelry need for the past 12 years! We first met her when we needed a necklace repaired and then trusted her to make our wedding rings. Yes, I said make - not just buy one from a sale display that looks the same one other women would be wearing. Went in to get my ring cleaned and learned a lot! There is a difference between cleaning and polishing. Polishing is really putting more white gold on. My ring has a lot of engraving so it would be about $40 to polish. I'll probably get it done before my wedding. I was also warned about my diamond falling out due to a 4 prong instead of a 6 prong setting. Don't have the money for the switch yet, but will definitely be back. read more

This review is a little late but I really wanted to make sure it was said. I took my wedding ring to Cindy because I was always breaking the prongs on my little diamonds and the big one in the center really sat too high. She took a look at it and made a recommendation that I couldn't be more happy about. The diamonds are all protected now in a nice channel set and the big one sits a little more flush to the rest. I know it's hard to describe and imagine but trust me when i say, it is gorgeous. I get so many compliments on it and i'm not longer worried about losing diamonds. "Hidden gem" is right! I walked/drove by Cindy's Custom Creations for YEARS and did't even know it was there. My girlfriend and I googled for jewelery appraisal locally and found Cindy's place which now I realize that is above Fred's Flowers in the same building. I noticed right away that just about everything was custom I believe, and very beautiful. Unique. I can appreciate people who make they're own custom creations. Very talented. This is a really late review, but I brought my engagement ring to Cindy to be resized mid-April 2016, shortly after I became engaged and returned from my trip. Cindy was very professional, kind, and informative the entire time we spent together. I was unsure what the best ring size would be, since the ring was sometimes very loose or fit well, depending on the temperature, After looking at my finger and the ring, she gave me her trusted advice, and I went with it. She was able to resize my ring perfectly in a few days, and it still fits perfectly! I also got a bottle of her jewelry cleaner, which does a great job. Cindy is wonderful! I recently lost my best canine friend Harley to cancer last month after ten wonderful years with him. I found a heart pendant online that had "In memory of" with a paw print in the upper corner already on it from the animal rescue site which donates proceeds to feed shelter animal which is how I rescued Harley! I sent Cindy an email asking her what she would charge for engraving his name on the pendant and told her why I was looking to get it engraved. Her response was both professional and compassionate. She gave me two price quotes, one for the basic engraving and one that included "antiquing" the engraving which would match more closely to what was already on the pendant which is what I went for. The end result made me so happy, now I have my Harley's memory on a heart close to my heart thanks to Cindy. I have already received numerous compliments from my new pendant at work. In addition when I arrived to pick up my pendant I had to wait while Cindy was working with another customer. My husband first came here over 6 years ago to have the diamond on my engagement ring reset and to have the prongs on the pave diamonds on the sides strengthened because the jeweler at the store where he bought the ring from did not do a good job. I've been coming back ever since to have little things done here and there, whether it's having my rings polished, cleaned, and re-rhodium-plated, prongs reset, missing stones replaced on earrings, etc. Cindy is very picky with her work and the people she works with (on her customers' jewelry) so I know my items are in good hands. I Needed a stone replaced on a ring. My husbands office is in the same town and he knew some people who were very pleased with this business. The jeweler, Cindy, explained exactly what would happen and educated me about the process and my ring. I appreciated this as I haven't had much experience in this area. The ring is made with a combination of metals (Sterling silver and 18k gold) with a bezel set stone so a little more to it than a simple change. I found Cindy because she is listed on Mason Kay's website. At the time I was looking for a jade piece. I met her in person and found her very friendly and knowledgeable. She listened well to understand my needs. Later I asked her to look for a sapphire stone for me. She brought in several stones from her suppliers. One of the stones had good color but was a little small. I wasn't totally happy but I bought it anyway. Without me asking, she continued her search. A few days later, she told me that she found one with the color I like and bigger, and that I could exchange the smaller one for the bigger one. I was so excited. When I saw the stone, I fell in love immediately. She then pointed out that the stone had a tiny chip which I had not noticed at all. She promised that she would contact the supplier and resolve the issue. Sure enough, she got in touch with the supplier the following business day and had them agree to recut the stone. I received the stone about a week later. It lost 0.02 ct in weight but still looked stunning. During the process, she kept me updated.
