As suggested I went into the restaurant... We ordered the Mushroom Pizza 14 inch along with a Caprese Salad Absolutely delicious! The restaurant is located in a strip mall Tons of parking Great for big groups Tons of choices on pizza, salad, subs, desserts, drinks Owners were incredibly friendly and show lots of pride in their food. Very good to try new items. We really enjoyed our food. Went to the Zoo and this place was just around the corner.

Custom Pie hosted our end of the year party for two of our club soccer teams. Arman worked with us in advance to make sure we all the menus items ready when we walked in the door. Arman, his wife and daughters were wonderful hosts and the parents enjoyed the bar room nextdoor. Food was delicious, and they went out of the way to cater to our team. It was a much warmer and friendly experience than going to a chain pizza joint. Highly recommend them for your team party.

The fire in the oven cooked the pizza perfectly!

We love visiting our local pizza restaurant. Great customer service. Enjoyed our drinks while they cut the toppings as they were making it! So fresh and delicious. We love dine in. Nice patio dining especially on a sunny day.

The garlic cheese bread is amazing and is more than just garlic powder. The pepperoni pizza has more than one cheese and actually has flavor. Is it more than little Cesar's? Yes is a bmw more than a Honda? Pizza cheese bread and drinks $50. The custom pie seltzer is a squirt with alcohol 12/10 would buy everything again.

    I wanted this..

Was so disappointed, my first and last time I go! It looked like pizza dough scraps that were thrown in the oven and called it a day! Inedible, dry & burnt!

We sat outside, which was nice, since it gave us a view of the hills and golf course. They had the fans on so it was nice. The place was pretty empty so we were surprised when our food took forever to come out. Once it did, my chicken sandwich was pretty bland. My friend said her BBQ salad looked like cans of beans and corn were just thrown on top and they didn't chop up the lettuce, leaving her with huge inedible chunks. To top it off the amount of dressing they gave her wasn't even enough to cover the salad. Another friend had the steak salad and the steak was so tough she needed a saw to cut through the pieces. Suffice to say the prices were not worth the quality of food. 3 for ambience and friendly waitress only. Will not be coming back.

The flavors are consistent, rich, and somehow even better with each visit. This time, the meatballs were hands down some of the best we've ever had--perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. We also tried some of the baked pastas, which were absolutely comforting and delicious. And their special gnocchi? Incredible. Soft, flavorful, and truly something special. And of course, I can't forget the pizza--it was absolutely amazing. Honestly, no need to drive all the way to LA to places like Pizzeria Sei... this spot delivers that same level of quality right here. You can tell there's real care in the food here. It's quickly becoming one of our go-to spots with the family. Already looking forward to our next visit!

**Utter Disappointment**…read more I followed the strong reviews and decided to try Magma Pizzeria for takeout through DoorDash. I ordered the Queen Margherita with added cheese and pepperoni. The pizza arrived about 20-30 minutes later, and while delivery temperature can affect a pie, it usually cannot hide whether the pizza itself is well-made. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. The box had oil pooling on one side, which was not a great first sign. The crust was cooked around the edges, but the center was thin, soft, and doughy underneath. The added cheese and pepperoni were far too salty together, almost as if they belonged to a different pizza entirely, rather than working with the Margherita base. The basil was strong, which I expected from a Margherita-style pizza, but what felt missing were the diced or sliced tomatoes. Instead, it came across more like red sauce with heavy pizza seasoning, and not in a good way. Overall, the pizza felt rushed and should not have left the kitchen in that condition. I wanted to like it based on the reviews, but this was not a good pie. I'm hoping for better pizza options in the Camarillo/Thousand Oaks area moving forward. I won't be back.

We honestly were not sure if we wanted to make the drive to Moorpark again, but given Phil's extended efforts, we felt it was only right to give Freda's another try. Our last visit was during Mother's Day weekend, so we thought to come for brunch on Father's Day. It was busy when we arrived, but the host team managed the flow of customers very well. While being seated, the timing of the next reservation was mentioned, allotting an hour and a half for our time there. This was more than enough, and we were graciously thanked for our understanding. Shortly after, Danielle came to greet us, apologized for the previous dining experience and showed sincere appreciation for having us again. We had two servers for our section, Nathan being our primary one, but as before, we felt the entire team worked exceptionally well in taking care of customers. We started with the Focaccia Rustico which was the best part of our last meal. This arrived heavily toasted. We prefer the softer version from our dinner, but it was still very good. The husband was eager to try the French Dip, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich had the perfect ratio of meat to bread. The au jus was flavorful, along with the horseradish spread. The fries were, hot, crisp and nicely seasoned. I ordered the Dutch Baby. It arrived freshly made in the cast iron pan, with sides of butter, syrup and berry compote. This was my first time having the German pancake and it was delicious! It will now be on my radar when having brunch elsewhere, but Freda's is the standard that others will follow. Team members checked on us often, as they did with other customers. Danielle stopped by a couple more times. We were thanked again, as we left, for giving them another chance. It was a great experience from beginning to end and a testament to Freda's dedication to customer satisfaction. We'll be back. :)

We tried the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp, Meatballs, French Dip and Mediterranean Chicken, and a mimosa. The meatballs were about the size of a golf ball. After cutting it in half the center looked firm and somewhat dry. It tasted a bit bland but after putting extra marinara sauce on it greatly improved the taste. The shrimp was ok but it did not stand out. The portions of both seemed small, probably adjusted due to the special menu. The bread that came with the dishes were good, warm and toasty. I really enjoyed the French Dip, the prime rib was tender, and the au jus and horseradish sauce enhanced the flavor. However the horseradish sauce didn't have the kick I was anticipating, so maybe more "horse" or more "radish"? Mediterranean chicken was also delicious. The fries were thin and crispy. Mimosa was refreshing. Service was great, our server Stephen was attentive and checked on us often. Overall it was an enjoyable first experience.

The food and comfort, not so much. Dear Hubby and I had a late breakfast, so we weren't really that hungry. We decided to order a pastrami sandwich to share, which came with one side (we chose tater tots). DH also ordered a cup of chili as an extra side. BIG mistake. At $7.25 for cup of inedible chili, that was a bad choice. It was overly salty, and extremely greasy. They charged 50 cents for a tiny sprinkling of onions on top. Really? That was an extra insult, considering that we skipped the cheese on the sandwich, and we didn't get a deduction for leaving that out. Speaking of the sandwich - it was tasty and well-made, but was very skimpy on actual pastrami filling. Not a good value. The bill was $40 for a shared sandwich, one small draft beer, a generous glass of pineapple juice, and the terrible side of chili. Since eating out is getting so expensive, I always hope (and expect!) that dining establishments would put their best foot forward so that guests will like what they're serving and want to return. Another note - the chair that I was about to sit down on was so wobbly and in bad repair that I could have suffered a fall. I mentioned it to one of the servers. She thanked me, but made no effort to remove it from the floor. That's a potentially dangerous situation which went untended. I didn't see a manager on the floor or I would have called it to their attention. I dragged over a chair in better condition from another table myself. It's a sports bar. It's reasonably clean. The kitchen did them no favors today. We'll be looking for another place to go when the 49'ers aren't on national TV during this NFL season.

They do take a while to make the food when you order ahead, so I usually order at least 25 minutes in advance of pick up time when taking out. When eating in, they make it pretty quickly. The one thing that would keep me from leaving 5 stars is because the past few times that we have eaten in here, I have noticed that the music playing really isn't appropriate, in my opinion. It is an eclectic mix of all kinds of random songs from the 80's and 90's to the current hits and songs from 10 years ago. That isn't what bothered me though. What bothered me is I don't think some of the songs that play are appropriate- like hearing "S*x and Candy," Pink's song where she says, "They'll be kissing my a**," and the last word was not censored, and then today hearing a song with lyrics, "girls in the boys room, boys in the girls room; free your mind and you'll be androgynous." Like; what? I'm just trying to have my hummus and my 2 year old kid is here. The music isn't quiet and in the background- you certainly hear it while you're in there! Music like that does not seem family oriented. I thought of how much better it would be if this place played Greek language music, like acoustic songs, or just something consistent and peaceful to really give the Mediterranean ambiance. I'm not one to nit pick about the music that is playing at every restaurant that I eat at, but when I'm with my baby and I hear inappropriate things like that, it bothers me. I wonder if the owner would ever consider changing the music. That is all!
