Beautifully decorated salon, soft green colors, chandeliers, crystal and chrome lighting, several nail stations and pedicure chairs, waxing and other services available, too. The salon has soft instrumental music playing, it's relaxing. Even the conversations of the employees is quiet not too loud. Nice to relax while you get your nails done. My appointment was with Cindy. I was referred to her by a woman I met at Chili's Restaurant. That woman's nails were so beautiful. I made an appointment for yesterday but had to cancel. I rescheduled for today. Minimal wait time when I arrived, I didn't mind, Goal new set of of ombré nails. Cindy was friendly, sweet both on the phone and in person; she is the owner. The other women who worked their were also friendly and professional with their clients. All of the women were very nice, polite and no one was too loud. It's been years since I've been to Happiness, but I figured I try them out again and I left very happy. My gel pedicure was relaxing and the lady was very attentive to my cuticles. She was also careful with my ingrown toe nails and checked in with me often - which I really appreciated. I just wish the massage was a little longer. It felt very short compared to other salons. I also had a gel manicure done by another lady, and she was really attentive with my cuticles too! I love the attention to detail. My nail shapes were perfect and uniform. She made sure to ask me if I liked the color before preceding and add additional coats to perfect the manicure. The prices at this salon are pretty much the same at any other salon. It's a great spot if you have a big group of people you're needing to fit in - they have plenty of seating. The ladies were all nice and attentive. read more

I'm a man that's already kind of nervous about going in to get my pedicure done. I went here for the first time and they did not seem very inviting. I did notice that they spoke Vietnamese. I do know some Vietnamese, which you would never know by looking at me. The lady that let me in made a comment all the other ladies about how big of a guy I am, which I did not appreciate. If you're the owner of the shop reading this, you know exactly what I'm talking about because I heard you say it. And then all the women laughed. You do know that also I am lucky enough, I understand some Vietnamese. But other people actually have translators now. You asked me why I left now you know. That was also adding to the fact that you sat me down in a chair with no cover on the foot bath and nobody to help me and left me there for five minutes after you made that comment to them and laugh. I sat there for five minutes, thinking about that comment that you made, and then decided not to patronize your business I want you to know also that my interactions with Vietnamese in the past I've always been positive. It is sad that you would say something like that, but I guess there's people that do that every culture. read more

This place was OK. I went in for standard pedicure. I didn't like how they left my toenails cut. I don't believe the lady knew how to cut toenails since you're supposed to do a flat front. Mind were rounded and made me look like some alien creature. I would show you, but then you would judge my toenails. read more

I went to their saloon for the second time with my sister, and i asked them to do a manicure and also the gel nailpolish so the lady said we charge $32 for both, so my sister wanted to do her gel nailpolish only and it was for $20 and i wanted to do the manicure and gel nailpolish, when it came to my turn they only did the nailpolish for me and just the dipping for my nails, when i asked the lady when are you gonna do my menicure so she told me that i already did ur mani, i got shocked and asked her again n again that it was just a dipping, u didnt even do a clean up and didn't even use any other stuff for the hands like all other saloon do, then they were talking in their own language and discussing with each other and laughing with for no reason, then I asked the lady wen is ur manager coming so i can talk to her then the lady told me you can talk to me instead of the manager, i am reallyyyy disappointed this time because they only did my nailpolish not manicure, and charged me more that it should me, and also they were actually in rush because they were about to close at that time and didn't wanted to lose me as a customer read more

This place is awful!! They over book because they are greedy and then don't have the staff to do the work!!! I made a reservation and sat while my two friends got their pedicures done. for two hours!!!! Only reason I stayed was because we all drove together. I was in desperate need of getting my nails fixed since 3 of my nails chipped from being too long. My usual spot is all the way off of Folsom Blvd and I needed this last minute living in Elk Grove. My usual Elk Grove spot is Forever Nails which is usually packed and needs an appointment as well. So what do I do?! I look for a nail spot that was opened at 6pm still with good reviews. I called for an appointment and walked in with a lady waving me to go to her station then she told me no next to her station with another lady. I told the lady to cut my nails short and file them pointy. She cut them so short that she could hardly make some of my nails pointy. She painted red with the hot shot red glitter on top. She was such a messy painter that it was getting all over my skin. I pointed it out to her and she said yea I'll fix it later. When she fixed it later she had to cut it off my skin because the paint was on my nail connecting over to my fingers skin. She was also rushing my manicure since my appointment was at 6pm and the shop closed at 7pm. Her paint brush was flooded with paint without taking some off into the bottle before painting my nail, resulting in the polish flooding over my nails on to my skin. I gave her a $3 tip because she rushed my manicure and painted it sloppy with cutting my nails too short not being able to make them pointy on all my fingers. When I told her $28 she said "so a $3 tip?" I said "yes" and she rolled her eyes and gave me the pad to sign walking away without proving me a receipt. I had to ask another lady for my receipt. Will I be coming back? I don't know, maybe, with a different person for Sure. Will be updating my review on the quality of my gel manicure. My gel manicure was $25. read more

I haven't been to this place in quite sometime, so I decided to get my nails done because I was going on vacation. When I first stepped into the place, I noticed that they renovated the place and made it look more modern (which I like). I was greeted, who I believe was the owner, right at the door and was seated right away. I got a full set with coffin shape and white nail polish. I got my nails done by Rose. She was amazing! Always kept a conversation with me and she took her time on making sure my nail shape was perfect! One thing I loved about her, was she always made sure that I was okay with how it was coming along. If you want a good nail tech, I would highly recommend Rose! The only negative thing about this place is that the workers are always getting personal phone calls and they have a full on conversation for awhile. (Not Rose, but other workers around me) I feel like phones should be put on silent and should not be answered when dealing with a customer. Also, nails were a bit pricey ($37), but they say it's for the nail shape. Overall, I was very satisfied with my nails and I highly recommend making an appointment with Rose. read more

They had about 10 or more ladies working and still had to wait 30 minutes. I have used this place since 2003 and have yet to be dissatisfied.
