I came in for pedicure. Rachel cut my big toe under the nail and it bleed. Then she sprayed alcohol in the wound. The nail was jaggedly cut into the nail bed. It hurts like ... you can imagine. I wasn't sure what to do because it can't really be fixed.. it's throbbing & the nail is uneven. When I stood up to leave and pressure was placed on my toe, it doesn't feel the greatest. But at check out rachel wanted full price. I calmly said to her My toe is cut, jagged & throbbing. She was unsympathetic .. offered $10 off. I'm going to keep it classy & not argue. I originally came in for dip, I called yesterday and made an appointment for today. I ended up having to get tips on multiple nails due to Helen cutting my real nails even though I said to keep my real nails (I've been doing dip for months to help grow and strengthen my real nails). One nail she ripped half of my nail off and I was bleeding and the nail bed was exposed. After saying it was hurting she continued and just ripped the nail off instead of stopping and cutting it. I then asked for flowers on two of the nails and ended up with polka dots. Helen didn't like how the flowers she did looked, I thought it was fine and she kept attempting to do the flowers and was struggling. Then tried to put flower gems on (which she didn't say was going to cost more) but I said the dot flowers were fine and she did polka dots, not the dotted flowers. After asking to change the design since I wasn't happy with it she said it was too late. I was there for 2 hours which wouldn't be an issue if I got the service I asked for. My thumb is already scratched at the top. One pointer finger is smudged all around the cuticle. This place is usually amazing and my go-to, but after this experience I might not be coming back... especially after spending $53 on nails I'm not happy with and ending up with something I didn't ask for. I walked in expecting to pay one price for dip and then ended up paying for a full set when half of my nails didn't get tips and nothing was discussed as far as prices. Helen just cut my nails making a mistake which she could have just put a tip on the ones she cut and done dip still, but she continued to cut my nails and I ended up having to pay for her mistakes which is not ok. I got Helen last time also and after 2-3 days I had to get a repair and pay for a repair. Usually dip lasts 5-6 weeks for me before chipping or coming off. I barely got 2-3 weeks without the top coat peeling and some just coming completely off after the repair. read more
