I've been a customer since November 2016. Regular mani/pedi is $28 or with gel nail is $40-50. Callus remover is an additional $5. Love the staff and service. Parking can be a hassle during peak hours and or weekend hours. Overall, they do a great job for regular mani and pedi. They do take walk-ins but I recommend making an appointment, somedays can be busier than others. read more

Absolutely agree with the comments regarding the owner being extremely rude. Also, I seriously question the hygiene of this establishment. It's dingy and grimy. Most concerning, they are the first place I've been to in years that does not line the bowl with plastic. I thought it was a law/requirement, but I'm not sure. Cutee Nails is just a small mom and pop nail spa but I really like the work they do and the prices are outrageously low! When it comes to acrylic nails, a natural look goes a long way. It's SO hard to find someone who does my nails just how i like them; short, natural looking, or sometimes white tip pink powder. It's like everyplace I go to tries to talk me into their "vision". Well not at Cutee Nail. I have been going to Cutee Nails for about 2 years and they do they best natural "full set". When I started working in Torrance I needed to find a great nail place. I went in because they are close to my job. They asked what i like, I briefly described waiting to be interrupted, but no such thing happened. They just gave me a beautiful natural look. They also have many OPI colors to choose from and they joke with me because i can never pick. I get stuck at the color wall :P The staff is professional and friendly. Clean restrooms and water. Tony and Tina are always there with friendly smiles. They make me happy after a long day at the office. read more

I absolutely adore this place! It's a small mom and pop place and the owners are SUPER friendly. The staff is very professional and clean!! They speak to you in english and they talk to each other in english too!! SO it doesn't feel like they're talking crap about you like most other nail salons I've been to. I've came here for manicures, pedicures, and waxing and I can't think of going anywhere else. Whenever I come back from West LA to visit my parents back in Torrance, I try to make time to come here because the prices are cheap compared to Los Angeles. Also, the owner takes her time when she waxes me and doesn't mind when I ask her to redo a spot or pull out a stray. I been searching for weeks for a new place that could do nails AND waxing. FOUND IT!!!! I came at like 6pm and hour before they were supposed to close. I was greeted nicely. Li did my pedicure and the other lady did my waxing. They were very nice!!! I know I may sound cliche but I NEVER had a pedicure like this. I felt automatically relaxed when I sat in the chair. I am plus sized and tall...I fit great!!! (Doesnt happen at a lot of shops) She worked on my feet without hurting me...and at the end used a WARMING lotion!!! I didn't know they had warming lotion! !!! In the waxing room (got brows and underarms done) the lady made me feel comfortable instead of ashamed I looked like a grizzly bear under my arms. She was quick yet gentle. This is the first time in a while I didnt have residual burning later that day. I was done with all of that by 6:50. I will def use this place again!!!! read more

As with any nail shop it is ideal to come in the morning on a weekday. The shop is quite small, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. There are only about 6 people working, which includes Tony and his wife, who, by the way, are absolutely wonderful and talented. If you come at a time when they are busy Tony always does his best to make sure you get whatever service you need within a fair amount of time. Their prices are average compared to the other nail shops that I have been to. If you make an appointment do your best to be on time because the last time I was 15 minutes late and I had to wait for him to finish someone else, which was nobody's fault but my own. They don't do any super fancy designs but I'm not one to order up extravagant nails. They do do spa pedicures which is a plus. I've been visiting my sister for 3 weeks and my nails needed to be done. I've been to Cutee nails before but it's been a while and I came on Yelp to be sure the place was still owned by Tony. I used to come here when I lived in Nevada and visited this area often to see my elderly parents who are now gone. I saw the bad review about dipped nails and decided to call and make sure I got someone who did dipped nails and not someone inexperienced. I was able to get an appointment with Tina, the owner's wife. I was extremely pleased and they were concerned about the bad review. I don't blame them. This is a small family owned business and they do take pride in their work. Tony is by no means rude but the most upbeat person, always friendly. There is another salon in Torrance called Cutie Nails (spelled different). Perhaps the person who posted the bad review for someone else reviewed the wrong salon. I love this place! I would give it %95 (I'll explain why in a bit). First of all this is my moms and I favorite place to get our nails done. Everyone is so nice, friendly and welcoming plus it's close to my house. If you're getting acrylic nails then ask Tony to do it he's the best! The prices are really good! You won't find a cheaper place that's also good. I took 5% off the overall score I give it because when I went in not too long ago to get my nails done, I asked for 3 simple lines on two of my nails and at the end they charged me $8 extra because apparently that was a design (which in my opinion it wasn't). I'm paying $20 for acrylic and now plus $8 which is almost half the price. I don't mind paying a little extra but it would've been nice knowing that I'll be charged extra when I asked for it in the first place. So overall yes this place is great and affordable, but that little incident kind of lowered my opinion a tiny bit. read more

Nice little place, I'm glad I made an appointment because there were only 3 nail techs on when I came in. Parking lot is really small and shared with a 711 and a water place and some spots are reserved for the water company. Su who did my nails was nice and spoke English really well, she took her time on my nails and made them look clean. The only complaint is the sides of my nails weren't as clean or even but that won't stop me from coming back. It was $27 for a gel manicure and that included a trim, file and cuticles cut. She did everything gently too so there was no pain and all of my skin (minus the cuticles) is intact. A nail of mine ripped earlier this week and I pointed it out to Su and told her it ripped the skin and is sensitive she made note of that and was careful and did what she could to shape it and she did a good job it looks as well shaped as the rest of my nails. As long as you communicate with your nail tech they will give you what or as best as they can. I will be back and do recommend this place. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Cutee Nails! Just came back from getting a mani/pedi and my feet and hands could not be happier. You need to make an appointment for services. They are strictly following all Covid guidelines. The appointments are spread out with time in between for sanitizing. They took 2 stations out of the salon to allow for the mandated physical spacing. Everyone in the shop is wearing a mask and they ask you use their hand sanitizer upon entering. They also have clear barriers put up between you and the manicurist. Very safe, clean and friendly! read more

I have been looking for a low cost nail salon because I like to go every two weeks, which can add up if you're paying $40... I only get one gel color when I go in and I don't get designs for everyday nails, so $25 was my go to price for nice service and a gel manicure. They were very welcoming when I came in and you can tell the remember those that return. I saw the people that had come before they greeted them by name and asked how things were going. So I had a straight up pedicure no frills just wanted to relax before my trip! I had Sue and she was so nice and sweet. The pedicure was awesome and they include a sea salt rub, hot lotion rub, and then they wrap your legs in warm towels, and it only cost $17!! Needless to say I was in heaven. Owner/Greeting Gentleman at the front was very, very rude. Went in to attempt to get a pedicure. Before being seated I noticed this place does Not line their pedicure foot spa to prevent bacteria from getting trapped in the jets. This is common knowledge for nail care. I kept that information to myself and politely asked my nail care woman to add a few drops of alcohol to the water. So today was the second time I've been to this salon. Everyone is incredibly nice and attentive. Walk-ins are welcome, both times I came in it was no problem working me in. Today I had the pleasure of having Bao do my nails. I got a full set of Acrylic Gel. I was amazed how detail oriented he was. He made sure to take care of my nails and they turned out fabulous. I love this place! I have been getting my nails done here for the last year by Sue. I get gel french tip manicure and it comes out perfect every time. Everyone in the salon is so nice. I called to get a gel manicure done for my college graduation. I was able to get a same day appointment easily. Tina did a great job with my nails!! She was so friendly, asking about me and sharing a little about herself. I really love that effort to connect. She is very gentle and efficient, and her hot oil massage was fantastic! Tina also asked me if I would like two or three coats of my polish which I really appreciated given I like maximum opacity. Although she and the other employees sometimes spoke in Vietnamese, she translated for me which was so nice, although I don't mind either way, personally. After being told that gel manicure is $25 and fullset of acrylics and gel is $35! i was startled and said "oh reaaaally?!" the man abruptly and rudely said "Yeah really, what do you mean really?!" Main point: the customer service sucked and the staff looked clueless. The salon was empty with only 1 customer. Even though I didn't get my nails done here, they get 1 star from me, cause HOW RUDE! Called last minute for three pedicures for my wife, my son and I. They were super accommodating. The guy on the phone said 30 minutes so we showed up 15 minutes early because we were already in the neighborhood. They got all three of us seated and water running within 10 minutes.
