So disappointed. I used to come here all the time. The nail polish was applied in a way that left two different visible layers, I wasn't given the pedicure I asked for and there was a hidden charge of $7 to remove existing nail polish I was only told of once it was time to pay. Decided to give this salon a try for just a pedicure. Overall such a great first experience. Scott the receptionist was super welcoming and made sure I was comfortable. The pedicure stations are super cute and felt so private since there were curtains between stations. The benches were comfortable. Now the pedicure. Michael worked on my pedicure, and he was excellent! Usually I have to tell new techs to be careful with certain parts of my toes but he knew right away and was extra careful on my sensitive toe. The pedicure was great. He used actual fruit and herbs for the water bowl. His massage!! Now THAT was why I had to write this review. If I was on a massage table I would have dozed off. Loved jt. All I can say is, if you can try this place out you won't be disappointed. I will warn, they don't have dedicated parking so you'd need to park in a metered spot or a block away without meters. It really is tranquil! I love having a semi-private space for my pedicure (drawn curtain). I booked a last minute appointment and was easily accommodated. Cheerful customer service - very welcoming and friendly. Michael is amazing and I appreciated the other key staff member (forgot his name) who fixed something on his own (I hadn't noticed but he did and redid my paint job!). I feel bad posting this because the technician admitted fault and didn't charge me for the manicure, but there was just so much that went wrong. When I arrived, they told me I had missed my appointment and that it had been scheduled for the day before. I'm certain I didn't tell them the wrong date because I wouldn't have scheduled it for a work day and had my calendar open when I was making the appointment. Throughout the service, the technician was answering the phone and taking appointments while doing my nails, so it stands to reason that he was likely distracted when he took my appointment. During the manicure, he used a metal scraping tool to literally shave ribbons of my nail off. I know that gels require the top layer to be sanded down, but his approach was haphazard, painful, and messy (some of the nail ribbons weren't properly cleaned off and are embedded in the gel). He then cut three of my cuticles, two majorly to the point that they wouldn't stop bleeding. He used Second Skin, which made me nervous because he was dipping the brush that touched my blood back into the bottle. When they wouldn't stop bleeding, he carried on with the gels and now there is blood embedded in the polish. The shape of my nails and cuticles are very uneven and they look like I did them at home. The woman that did my pedicure was clearly rushed. She didn't let the layers dry in between coats and she was content to leave them splotchy. Thankfully the other technician noticed and added more coats before I left. The shape of each toe nail is different. I came here to try out the place as a potential spot to get my nails done before my wedding. All I can say is thank God this was a trial and not the real thing. read more

One star is even way too generous for the service I received. I went in for gel x and the lady who did my nails made it the most stressful experience for me. I asked for almond shaped medium length burgundy nails... pretty simple since gel x is already preshaped. I did not understand why the lady went out of her way to put on the square shaped ones and file them into almond shaped nails. Each nail was a different shape and rather they are stiletto rather than almond. I had to ask her to remove 3 of the nails because it was already lifting as soon as she put it on and they had giant air bubbles and I proceeded to tell her that it would lift. It frustrated her and she started hurting me and digging her nails in my skin as she was holding my fingers. I had to tell he that she was hurting me and she literally laughed. She didn't even care to ask if I wanted 2 or 3 coats. Towards the end I started getting upset and just stopped showing her all the issues I was seeing with my nails. I will never return to this place. It is dirty there were cut up acrylic nails all over the table from previous clients. They also apparently don't take american express cards... not sure why. There also wasn't a sign that specific that but as I was paying the guy was saying that they don't. read more

I really wanted to like this place, I had a very pleasant experience while I was there. Their phone number on yelp wasn't picking up so my only choice was to message them directly through yelp to schedule an appointment. They were very speedy and quick in their responses, so that was pretty easy. Their space is lovely-- calm, quiet, clean. They offer you a drink of your choice (wine, tea, water). I scheduled a powder dip mani and a regular pedicure. I've never tried the powder dip mani before but I decided to treat myself and try it out. The powder dip is quite a lengthy process, and my manicurist was very patient, I'll give her that. Your nail gets repeatedly dipped in the powder, and brushed off, then I had them seal it with gel (as per the suggestion of the gentleman doing my pedicure). He said it helps make it shinier and last longer. I opted for the powder dip because I've heard it's healthier for your nails, and lasts longer than gel. My cuticles were not trimmed and tended to however, which I thought was kind of weird. My pedicure was pretty standard, he did a good job of scrubbing my heels. My pedi is still lasting really well. Well fast forward a mere 5 days later, and to my dismay the powder polish is chipping and peeling. Not cool for something that costs almost $50! I'm pretty disappointed, and I'm not sure if it's just this place and their application of it, or what, but I don't think I'll be coming back here, especially considering their prices. read more

I have only been here one time for a pedicure and was so impressed. The salon is clean and modern. They line their foot tubs with disposable plastic and all the tools appear to be sterilized after use. An array of colors to choose from and WINE TO DRINK! I love that the salon takes credit cards and you can tip on the card :) The owners are so nice and I am so happy they opened. Welp after reading reviews I figured I should try this nail salon. I was wrong. It looks nothing like the pictures. I was greeted, started soaking my nails then the woman left me for 25 mins to do another manicure, to return and say I needed to rub my nails on the paper napkin in the solution to get my gel off. Then a man started doing my nails. Then back to the woman. Which long story short 70 dollars, a week later dip gel is chipped on 3 nails. And she didn't even cut my cuticles. She used a tool and nicked 3 of my fingers. Very unhappy. I wanted to like them. Would not recommend read more
