I have called there numerous times and very rarely do my phone calls get an answer or response. They have made buying a car 100 times more stressful than it should be. I want to start off my review by saying this place has bad customer service. I was extremely disgusted and felt disrespected by the conduct of one of the female employees. She was so rude and disgusting, flirting with my husband by waving at him and giggling like a weirdo, paying no mind to me or even acknowledging that I was right there next to him. That is bad customer service and she was being extremely inappropriate and disrespectful by going up close to my husband with her front side almost all up on my husband's leg and leaning in close to point out unnecessary stuff on our receipt. After that scenario, my husband told me he felt uncomfortable and was caught off guard by her weird gestures and violation of his personal space, so that of course upset me and I honestly wanted to give her a piece of my mind. I get that being nice and friendly is good customer service, but she was being a 4 letter word starting with an S and ending with a T. My husband and I came to this location for an oil change on Wednesday July 30th and I would've complained straight to the manager following that disgusting display from that female employee, but I felt it would have been more appropriate just to discuss it on the phone with the manager so there wouldn't be any scene. I wanted to respect the establishment, but obviously they have no respect towards me and my husband. I still haven't gotten a reply back after leaving a voicemail and calling during work hours multiple times while leaving my number. So I don't think this establishment cares too much about their customers satisfaction and definitely has no respect for personal space. (I would have mentioned the female employees name, but she was that rude and unprofessional towards me, so I'll just refer to her as that disgusting rude jerk) read more

I bought my F150 from them, which is a lot of money. I got the extended warranty because of all the electronics on them. Free serve and oil change. The salesman was great. No issues there. But the service department absolute is horrible. There is one lady there that if you get her she will treat you good. The rest that I have dealt with are horrible. I watch my truck get the service and then it sits for 20 to 30 minutes and I have to go complain to the service desk to get it brought up so I can leave. They really don't care and blame me for bringing it in in the morning instead of the afternoon so I asked them why they make appointments at 9 AM if they can't meet them. I took it in at 830 for a 9 appointment. They started work about 9:15, it was done at 10.20 but set for 24 minutes before I asked the service desk about it. I asked for a comment card to fill out but they don't have them so a guy who said he was a manager talked to me and said I should not bring it in in the morning but in the afternoon. He said I would be back since I have the warranty so he has no worries. He is right, I will be back until the warranty expires but what he doesn't now is I will not buy a car or truck from them again. I will go to Honolulu Ford or Chevy. If it is not big deal to them then it is no big deal to me. read more

So we purchased a Dodge Charger with Brian Okamoto as our salesman 10 months ago. Last night my car popped a code and after doing research, we found out its on a safety recall list. We were stuck. Seems the options the dealership gave us is, drive the unsafe car or, be left stranded without a car because at the moment, they don't have a remedy. Like really?! Wellll, mostly just to vent, we called Brian and the awesomeness happened! He called the corporate office of the recall and was able to get us in contact with someone who scheduled us an appointment and they will accommodate us! Brian went the extra mile for us. read more

The truck service center is manned by criminals. There is no other way to describe their conduct. I have historically taken my 2013 F350 to Honolulu Ford for service ever since Cutter tried to charge me thousands more for the truck than other dealers. Sadly, I went to Cutter Ford for a routine oil change this week because it was convenient to get there from Ewa. BIG MISTAKE. I picked up the truck and was greeted with a $260+ bill for an oil change! Honolulu Ford charged me $173 the last time, which I still think is high. Upon further review of the invoice Cutter truck Center did other maintenance tasks that I did not ask for. They allegedly filled the DEF tank (Which I do myself routinely and it was full at the time) and drained the fuel water separator. This is a monthly task according to the owner's manual. I execute this maintenance task religiously every month. There is no reason they had to conduct the additional maintenance tasks. When I demanded to speak with a service manager, there was none available at the truck center. I drove over to the main service center in search of a service manager and was again stonewalled. "Eric" the manager was conveniently on a break and would not be available for 45 minutes. Nobody in the service department was able to assist. I called Ford corporate headquarters customer relations to lodge a complaint. They were appalled at the conduct of the employees at Cutter Ford. They called down to the service center looking for "Eric". It took numerous attempts for Cutter Ford to answer the phone but Ford Corporate was also unable to get a hold of the elusive service manager. In the end, I allegedly got a refund on my credit card for the excess charges due to the assistance of the Ford Corporate customer relations employee. I will need to wait and see if the refund is reflected on my credit card statement. All in all, I am totally dissatisfied and will recommend to all my fellow 6.7 truck owners to go to Honolulu ford. DO NOT go to Cutter Ford Truck center. They are dishonest. read more

I've gone to Cutter Ford a few times to do maintenance/repairs for things I don't know how to do (i.e., a/c repair) with the knowledge that they'll charge me a lot. I recently went there telling them that I had a thermostat housing leak but they still want to do diagnostics of course. They were pretty quick with giving me estimates, work order time frame, and telling me what else I needed to get fixed. They said I needed to get my 3rd brake light, battery, and air filter replaced and I told them I could do it myself. Also, I asked them to do a coolant flush since they were changing my thermostat housing and the coolant is all gone cuz it's all over my engine. When I get my car back the next day, the engine is a fricking mess! There was way more coolant all over my engine (on the fuse box, intake manifold, cabin air filter housing, radiator expansion tank, everything) and my battery leaked with some yellow grime all over the battery. Sheesh, they did the job but did they really have to let my engine look like crap/a complete mess!? Also, I did tell them to change the coolant and replace it. What did they do? They fricken only leave 1/4 the level of coolant in my expansion tank, it's not even within the cold fill range. Last time, they checked my car out, they overfilled it! What the hell? Are these mechanics blind or something!? On a side note: Nicole Richardson has been my service advisor for a while and she is excellent! Very pleasant and informative by keeping you in the loop. She made me feel like I was her only customer. She also made calls to Enterprise for me about some issues since I rented a car from them. I give her 5 stars! read more

I had an awful experience with the service department! I ordered stripes through Ford and were delivered there at the dealer which was fine. Turns out they don't do those type of installations so they had to have a body shop do it for them who they "work with". They made an appointment for me on Monday morning to drop off the car at the dealer and would get picked up by the shop. I thought a day or two would be fine. (But honestly stripe installation doesn't take that long, maybe a day) After two days and still no call from them I decided to call but I kept getting the run around. They didn't even know the status, also the guy who needed to take the car to the shop never showed up on that Monday so the car was still just sitting there at the dealer. Too much miscommunication on them and the shop. I didn't get it back until a week later!!!!!! What the heck is that? And to top it all off the guy who installed the stripes scratched my door panel on the inside of my car. How the hell does that happen? They said they would replace the panel for free and would call me to bring it in for install....guess what, it's been over a month and they never called (most likely they never ordered the part and forgot all about it) but honestly I don't even care anymore. I'm never going back there, ever. Worst experience ever. read more

Got my car serviced since I was mailed a coupon. Will was great and this review would be 1 star if not for Will. Don't bother buying an electronic key here they charge you $80 to program your key which takes about 2 minutes to do. Lol. The service dept might have you leaving with issues you didn't have when you got there. I called to tell them the issue and they said bring the car in. What? So I can have more issues and waste more hours of my time for your mistake. No thanks, then they never followed up to make sure I was taken care of. Lol. Bottom line up front, first experience with Cutter Ford service department has left me feeling incredibly disappointed. Dropped off our 2014 Explorer for its 45K scheduled maintenance and a factory recall today (23 Feb). Scheduling was easy and communications with the service department was pleasant. Picked up the vehicle this evening and all seemed well. This was our first ever service appointment with Cutter Ford. We went 1 mile up Kam Hwy and stopped for dinner. When we came out the car (about 1 hour later) it wouldn't start....just click, click, click. Called AAA and they jumped it. Took it back to the dealership and filled out the drop off slip because the service department was closed. We bought this vehicle new in 2014 and to date there have been zero issues! In fact the paperwork from today said "performed battery test (okay at this time)". I'm not sure how something like this happened and am eager to talk to the service department tomorrow. I gave 2 stars because the people that I did talk to leading up to this were polite and professional but, being stuck in a parking lot with your family because your just serviced vehicle won't start makes it hard to go any higher. Hope to have this resolved soon and will update this review with the details. ***Update (24 Feb)*** Received a call this morning and the battery is dead and needs to be replaced. I feel stuck! How does the paperwork that I received yesterday state that the battery is "okay at this time" and "green"...then within 1.5 hours pulling out of the dealership needs to be jumped? Followed by the next day, needs to be replaced? What kind of battery test is actually being performed? Sure it could all just be a coincidence that the battery died within 1.5 hours of leaving the dealership but, how would you feel? read more

We purchased our 2014 Ford Escape on Monday, September 28th. We were referred to Bachan Khosa by a close family friend, and could not be happier with his service. He explicitly expressed genuine concern for the wants and needs of our family by encouraging us to highly consider a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. He made sure to put us in the car that would meet all our needs for the present and future-- i.e., finding a car that could accommodate any additions to our family. He also made it a point to also show us cars that we may have not thought to consider. Bachan was extremely knowledgeable and very familiar with every single car he showed us, and pointed out specific, key features of the vehicle during our test drive. Before we drove off the lot, Bachan had the car washed, detailed and even had the gas tank filled up. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with the ac, so we had to bring the car back the next day. Bachan didn't want us to have to sit and wait around for hours-- plus, he wanted the shop to make sure that the car was 100% up to par-- so he put us in a rental until the next day, free of charge. The whole experience was simply phenomenal; everything from the walk through to the test drive to the conversation with the financing officer. We felt genuinely cared for. It's been 2 months and it's time for the review. I got the 2013 Ford Fusion Electric Hybrid and I have to say it is awesome. I have put on 1000 miles and still have 1/2 the original tank of gas left. Bachan was a great salesman to deal with and went the extra mile for our family. The sales manager and finance guys were a breeze to work with. They had all kinds of options and selection. The car itself is super quiet. For Hawaii and around town the luxury and space is nice. The trunk seemed small at first, but we manage to fit a bunch of stuff inside after Sam's club. For people with long range driving, this electric may not be the answer if you are looking to go 100% ELECTRIC. We can go from Kapahulu to Ewa on a full charge and then hybrid back averaging 70 miles to the gallon. You can't drive the car like it's a race car and expect the mileage to be good though. It has taught me to be a more conservative accelerator and decelerator. I can tell you the I have PV and was averaging $17 a month so just about breaking even. Now my electricity costs about $65 per month. I think $70 for 1000 miles is pretty darn good. Love the car and the experience! read more

So after this review if my problems are not resolved and I am not compensated for my troubles, I will be contacting corporate. I recently took my vehicle back in for a overheating issue. Cutter had previously fixed the issue and guaranteed it was fixed. Well it wasn't. My car continued to overheat after returning from Sea with the US navy. I took the vehicle in 3 weeks ago and its still not fixed. I was told it needed a new motor told I should trade it in. I called 16 times in 1 day before I got ahold of someone and then was on hold for 30 minutes. I have been guaranteed calk backs on the status of my car and parts and never receive them. They also told me they don't know where my car is. They also told me to purchase a new engine when I do not need one. I'm sick of the BS from Cutter. I want my car back. I have been without one for 3 weeks and have had to pay for rides to work and borrow friends car. This is a horrible experience. All I need is a coolant flush and they keep trying to get me to buy a new engine. Everyone is avoiding me and my requests for call backs. I almost called police when told they didn't know where my car was. If my problem isn't fixed NY Monday evening I will contact corporate and my lawyers. I haven't included everything that has happened to me as a customer but the major things. I reccomend to stay away from Cutter service. They do not represent a Ford dealership nor do they care about their customers or their cars. Even associates I've spoken too have apologized for the lack of customer service and poor management . if the workers agree with me and tell me they see these problems a lot then I would stay away. I plan on raising hell tomorrow if my car isn't being fixed and I'm not compensated.I will also report this to my chain of command and also warn all my fellow family and friends to stay away from cutter. I want my car FIXED NOW. I want my estimates when they say I will get them. I want good service not to be scammed and treated like SHIT. Cutter Ford if you don't fix this ASAP I will contact corporate and Ford Motor Company. Find and Fix my MACH 1 now and apologize and compensate me for 3 weeks of hell!!! Back in 2001 I bought a truck from JN Chevrolet and it was crappy service with a NEW truck that didn't last two years. When I wanted to upgrade I went to cutter and met Patrick Belmonte and bought a beautiful 2004 escape. The service was so excellent that in 2013 my wife needed a new car so without hesitation I called to see if Patrick was working. An hour later we showed up and were test driving within minutes! :) Here is what makes a difference: when you go anywhere with an expectation to see someone, most people call out your name and wave you over but Patrick walked up to greet us in a very friendly manner, opened doors for us, pulled out chairs... I also work in an industry that relies heavily on not only new sales but return customers and I know when someone loves what they do and it shows. On Saturday,1/29/16 I brought my car in which I got from cutter ford in 2011.A2008 Volkswagen Jetta. Due to the fact that my car key was stuck in the ignition, and the car wouldn't shut off,so I figured since I got my car from them and they have an automotive repair shop made sense to me to bring the car to where I got it from. I got to cutter ford walked in the car service area.told them "my car keys is stuck in the ignition and the car won't shut off." Their response without even looking at the car was "Sorry we can't help you." I stood there thinking what am I suppose to do? So I asked okay what do I do? Since obviously fixing cars suppose to be what they do right? Then they told me go to tony Volkswagen in waipio. Which I did unlike the service I had at cutter ford, tony Volkswagen actually came out to check what the problem was instead of telling a customer which where I got my car from sorry we can't help you. had to take my MIEV in for factory recall;; for undercarriage bolt replacement and rust proofing, after three appointments which had to be changed for various reasons- tech not available- i was very glad that i was able to complete this recall. brought car in at 930, courtesy shuttle took me home, work was completed and while the sealer was curing- car stayed overnight (they charged the MIEV also) the next morning - car was ready and shuttle was scheduled to pick me up-driver very prompt and friendly . note I live on the east side so having this courtesy shuttle is great! Don't buy a car from them. I bought a used mini cooper and had it for 3 weeks before the transmission went out. It has been in the shop for a month getting fixed. They refused to do anything about it. They sell crap cars and dont give a crap about you once you sign the papers. Plus it took 6 weeks to get the title. They had it in thier office for over a week and said they would call when they got it in. Never happened. It took me going up there 3 times to get it. Last time i went they had to search the office for it. I mean come on its a title not a receipt from the corner store you just toss anywhere, put it in a file or something. Ford was fantastic! I've been shopping around alto looking for just the right SUV to buy. Never owning one before, I decided that I wanted a small SUV, so after going to Cadi, Infinity and a few others, I decided that the Escape was the car for me. I walked in knowing what I wanted and was open to suggestions, I met with Chris Tam (who was amazing), who took the time to explain all the features and benefits of the 2013 Escape. So, he ordered me the 2013 Titanium Escape after consulting with me on what I wanted in the car, Being a true woman I wanted that puppy fully loaded! So after 2 months wait for my special order to arrive I finally got a caress the beautiful Escape that I ordered. Believe me, it was worth the wait. Chris is no longer there, but he left me in great hands. I met up with Gawain, (whom I'd met previously at the dealership), who patiently answered all my new questions worked with me to find out how to best go about taking Sweet Dreams home (yeah that's what I named my new ride). Then he passed me over to a wonderful man named Mark (who admittedly doesn't read Yelp reviews....his loss), who very kindly gave me options on how to finance SD. The environment was so relaxed, I didn't feel pressured at all. I was told that a woman should never go into a car dealership alone because she will get taken advantage of. SOOOOOO not the case here. The men there were very nice, attentive and were eager to find ways to save me money. So people, here's the facts. The old Found Dead On the Road doesn't exist any more. Fords cars have had a serious face lift. Better equipment, stellar comfort and extreme affordability. Forget what you heard in the past. The Cutter Ford men are ACES to work with. I'm so glad they were there for me tonight to make one of my dreams on owning a Titanium a reality! Everyone was amazing!!!! Pat Belmonte immediately greeted us and asked how he could assist us. Throughout our search he remained warm and seemed to genuinely have our best interests at heart while answering ALLLL my questions without hesitation. The first car we test drove was the one we knew we wanted so headed to the office for the approval process. Prior to heading to Ford in Aiea, my boyfriend and I spend the entire morning car shopping at other dealerships and decided not to purchase with them because they weren't able to work with me in my current situation (average credit and minimum for down payment due to not thinking we'd purchase a car that day). However, Pat and the rest of the guys at Ford: Rummel and of course, Pat Iyou (sp?) went to war to get us in the car we wanted and approved with a MUCH lower APR than the other dealers we saw. They were amazing!!!! Being a supervisor and appreciating great customer service, I can not say enough how IMPORTANT it is and how great customer service really sells and keeps customers. After experiencing the level of service at Ford, I can honestly say that I will be a lifetime customer. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY LARGE PURCHASE, BAR NONE!!! I just purchased a 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, which is my long-held dream car. I was extremely excited to check this off my bucket list and had initially gone to Honolulu Ford (an experience that was one of the worst I've ever encountered in my history in buying any item). Disgusted by the cavalier treatment and ignorance we received there (essentially we were treated like children despite the fact that I am a physician and can afford the car), I looked up Yelp reviews that showed many amazing customer services experiences with Cutter Ford. We drove to Aiea and braced ourselves (just in case). From the first handshake to the last, and from the first person to the last, Cutter Ford demonstrated themselves as the pinnacle of salesmanship, professionalism, warmth, knowledgeability, fairness, and ethical handling of customers. Our sales associate, GAWNIE RULE, JR., was immediately warm, friendly, and helpful. Though the Shelby GT350 cannot be test-driven prior to serious negotiation/purchase, the Manager, PAT AH YOU, sweetly let us drive his vehicle, a GT, to check out what the engine, body, and handling might be reminiscent of. My husband and I left for a couple of days to test drive other vehicles, but soon returned to Cutter to complete the purchase, impressed by Gawnie's thoughtful email and phone follow up. They gave us an unbeatable price in comparison to other dealerships in the area, with special options added that made it an impossible package to refuse. When we started the financing process, ANTHONY GUEVARA courteously put us at our ease, answered our questions, and kept us laughing. Their (mostly digital) purchase process is the most advanced I've encountered, and I was pleased to leave with a USB flash drive rather than a stack of yellow and white mismatched papers. At the end of the deal, he ran and got a specialized care kit and walked us to the door. In regards to the details of the car (or any Ford Mustang ever manufactured), SEAN RODRIGUES was a wealth of knowledge and showed us everything we could want to know about my new car. He double checked that all parts on the vehicle were working as expected and even took the vehicle to the back to quickly review a minor issue, earnestly apologizing over the minimal delay. Even as the end of the deal was near, he oriented me to the car and wiped down fingerprints off the window like it was a cherished baby before he and Gawnie handed it over to me with a smile and well-wishes. Is this a nice car? Yes, but I have no doubt that the people I met would have been just as helpful and nice if it had been a Ford Focus. My car was in for its annual oil change etc. The process took a little over an hour which was what I was told it would take. I like the email I received with stating all that was done to my car and that it was ready. The price was what was quoted as there were no problems (it has 94,000 plus). I purchased a Mitsubishi Outlander from Cutter Ford/Mitsubishi earlier in the year. I had some problems with the luggage rack on the roof because of the excessive wind noise. I tried to unsuccessfully get it "repaired" through the service department. They were not able to come up with a solution to my problem. I contacted Mitsubishi's National Customer service department and was told that there was no solution. I asked Pat Ah You (General Manager of Cutter Ford) for help. Pat went out of his by contacting Mitsubishi and found a very simple solution to my problem. I highly recommend Cutter Ford for those looking to purchase a new car or to lease one. We recently leased a new Ford Fiesta and are very, very happy with our decision to go to Cutter Ford. Our sales rep Bachan went above and beyond the call of duty to place us in our new car. His patience and kind nature made for a great experience.
