purchased a vehicle from Tony Nissan after clearly stating multiple times that I did not want a vehicle with rust. I relied on the dealership's representations and believed I was buying from a reputable dealer that would be transparent about the vehicle's condition. Unfortunately, after the purchase, I discovered a significant rust hole that had caused damage to the vehicle. Had I known about this issue, I would not have purchased the vehicle. What was most disappointing was not only the condition of the vehicle, but the way my concerns were handled afterward. When I brought the issue to management's attention, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Instead of receiving understanding or a meaningful effort to resolve the problem, I encountered an attitude that left me feeling ignored and undervalued as a customer. I expected honesty, transparency, and customer service from a dealership of this size. My experience fell far short of those expectations. I hope this review encourages the dealership to take customer concerns more seriously and to be more forthcoming about vehicle conditions in the future. 9-13-23 I had called in to make an appointment previously when I received a key recall notification in the mail. I had a 7 am appointment. Usually if there is someone by the entrance gate they wave me in but today's person actually held up his hand S T O P! and with good reason cuz the usual check in place was undergoing maintenance, After following his directions to go left then right I approached the tent on the right. I was waved to come to the left lane. He told me that a service advisor would be with me shortly after he put a numbered placard on my car once I gave him my name, First time I had Ethan Karr and he was excellent. Besides getting the keys repaired as the recall stated spur of the moment I asked if I could do a safety check. Yes! I usually keep all paperwork for my car organized and current with the insurance card, certificate or ownership and safety check. Hubs had taken my car for servicing since I couldn't drive. Ethan was so patient and said take your time as I searched that Nissan black pouch. By the time I found the current dates he had returned to his desk inside, Ethan I found them! I waited for both issues to be taken care of. Ethan came over to inform me the car was done. I followed him to his desk, gave him payment and received a free car wash ticket. The interior of the showroom was decorated prettily for Halloween. So well done cute not scary. They've added more seating to wait while your car is being serviced. read more

At Tony Nissan for the $19.99 oil change special. I asked if the could also clean my battery cable since I did purchase it from them. They wanted to charge me an additional $45.00! Say what? Baking soda mix with water will do the trick then apply Vaseline to prevent future corrosion‼ Geez, next time I'll get the battery somewhere else! And now I just got home and white smoke coming out from under the hood I text them and was told if it continues to bring the truck back in. What was that??? Drive all the way back? I went back to the service department to try and get an issue fixed that I'd brought to them multiple times and we finally had a decent plan in place to get it settled. I had to schedule appointments on behalf of the dealership for my BMW to get it's service with my dealer warranty. In the 30 minutes they had my car, they did something to cause my 4th check engine light since buying my car from them. When I came back in to say that they need to diagnose and fix the issue that was caused in their care, they bounced me around between managers until I got to Mr. Choy who said that it couldn't possibly be their fault and my car already had issues so it was probably my fault anyway. After much back and forth, we agreed for the dealership to take the vehicle to a BMW service appointment that I had to book for them and see what the outcome was. I do not trust this dealership. Mr. Ethan Karr was a good service associate to work with through this process today though. read more

Don't ever have it serviced here. They had my Leaf for six months to replace the battery and the customer service is horrible. I had to chase them for updates. They didn't keep me informed. Then it's finally ready to pick up and they had my car for so long the safety check expired and they didn't even renew it and gave it back expired. I also asked them to check why there's a clicking when braking and that's still happening so apparently they didn't check on that. Never ever using them but I'm screwed as I had to use them for my battery replacement. read more

They were telling her she needed to BUY a battery and a few other things to resolve her issue. My brother asked her if she had a Nissan certified car. Guess what - she did. They were giving her this run around on fixing her car when it was Nissan certified! If she listened to what they were telling her she would have pulled more money out of her pocket to take care of something that fell under their own warranty. When she pushed for it to be fixed under their own guaranteed warranty they eventually did - but not without calling her a "Karen" to her face. Really classy Tony Nissan. I went in to have my car inspected because the airbag light was on. The young man who helped me was Matt and from the very beginning, his personality was just so warm and wonderful. I trusted that whatever he told me was going on with my car was the truth because he was just so authentic. I wasn't happy to learn what was really going on with my car, but I was more than happy with the service that I received because I could tail that no one was trying to rip me off or have me pay for things that were unnecessary. Another bright spot in my visit was Patti!!! She is so beautiful, and so sassy, lol. From the moment I saw her, she personally escorted me to the waiting room where the coffee was, and was so sweet. I had a little conversation with her as I was leaving, because she was so funny and cool, and she took it upon herself to check and see whether or not my car had an extended warranty on it that could pay for the repairs. I just wanted to hug her on the spot and could not believe that she took it upon herself to do that! I really love Tony Nissan, and as long as I'm on the island, this is the only place that I will ever take my car. read more

They told me since my car is still under warranty & the problem I was experiencing with my car was electrical they sent me to a nissan so I don't have to pay anything out of pocket. I'm glad I went to this tony nissan. I just wanna thank the people that helped me today, the receptionist who answer the phone I believe her name started with an "H" spoke very clear & she was quite helpful! I needed to speak to an advisor but no one was available since it was right when they opened when I had called so they were probably assisting others. Since I was in a pinch for time I booked an appointment & they had a lot of open appointments open which is great! When I pulled into the servicing drop off area I was greeted and helped within minutes by Elijah. He asked what I was my reason for the visit & listened to the problems I was having. My 12V socket wasn't working so a fuse blew -- i tried to fix it myself and it worked but for only 5 seconds to shut off again.. it was my first visit here & noticed my car was still under the previous owner. He checked my car in & met me inside to where he updated my information on my vehicle. He also found that my car had a recall in which I was not informed about through the mail which I was thankful he had told me. Elijah was professional & didn't rush me through the process of checking in. So, thank you Elijah! Brandon was my Service advisor, he went through all my paper work & had even confirmed with me what the problem was so that there was no chance of miscommunication. I only waited about an hour and 30 minutes for my car which isn't bad at all. I appreciate him taking the time to double check with me and had even given me a free car wash coupon that won't expire at the autoplex car wash. Also, gave me a paper showing the outcome of my multi point inspection which I didn't expect them to do since I had a recall & fuse box issue. He even went as far as walking me out to show me where my car was & made sure that was my vehicle. most dealerships that I have been to just point you into the direction. I feel like I got the best service I could have possibly got at a dealership. I do wish I could service my car here all the time. Worse experience at the Nissan service with Thomas F. Our issue was with the AC, not getting cold enough and we told them that it was intermittent. Came back saying they only added Freon because they couldn't find any leaks yet. Received it back blowing the same temperature. And they charged us the full price of $497, because they topped off the Freon. We brought it back three days later because the temperature did not even drop 1° still blowing at 68 degrees. Then they decided that they could do a more thorough inspection and found out that there was a leak in the AC compressor and they charged us up to $3000 to fix it. They included these administrative fees which they explained was like because you were in our shop so we have to charge you for it. It's exactly like how they add kitchen fees at restaurants. Thomas even told me he was going to wash the car, yet when I received it they were still bird poop that was not scrubbed off. I guess mechanics and service people are not car washer. They proved to me that dealership services are always overpriced and give you the runaround first just because I was a woman. Very, very disappointed. We had a TERRIBLE experience with a different Nissan dealership, and I swore I'd never get another Nissan because of it, but Tony Nissan has completely changed my feelings about the company. We brought our 2015 Juke in because the ABS light came on. They were quick to diagnose the problem, and incredibly good at communicating. They had to order a part, but they kept in contact while they waited for it to be delivered. Once the part came in, they contacted us to set up service, offered a loaner car or shuttle service, and worked around our schedule, on very short notice (less than 24 hours) to get our car repaired and back to us as quickly as possible. I can't say enough good things about the Tony Nissan service department. We will definitely be back, and due to their great service and care, I wouldn't rule out another Nissan in the future. read more

I have been a customer of Tony Nissan for over 5 years now. I can say up until today, I have had a great relationship with them. I own a Nissan Leaf. I have purchased two Nissan Leafs from Tony Nissan. When I purchased my Leaf, I was told that the super charger was reserved FOR LEAFS PURCHASED ONLY FROM TONY NISSAN. There is a sign on the charger with a list of Rules, including charge time (20 minutes) and reservation for Tony Nissan purchased Leafs. Today, there was a Tesla charging for over 50 minutes. I am literally writing this review as he goes over 1 hour of charging. When I talked to the salesman who was more invested in his iPhone than my concern, he said he couldn't do anything so I asked for the manager. Misty, the manager came out and told me that she could not do anything about the situation. When asked if I could have the contact information of her direct superior, she said she did not have it and told me to call customer service. Look. I don't normally write negative reviews as I am a huge supporter of locally owned businesses. I would not have made an issue of this had there not been a sign on the charger. If you are going to purchase a Leaf from Tony Nissan, I highly suggest you take all of this into consideration, as this would have been a deal breaker for me. I got this Leaf with the intention of having a priority in charging at the dealership. I am not angry, I am more than anything disappointed in the customer service I received from the salesman and Misty. I have worked in retail management for most of my professional career. I have a reasonable assessment of what it takes to not only meeting the needs of a customers shopping experience, but more importantly, how exceeding a customers expectations will usually leave a long term positive impression. With such a large buying decision, I usually do a lot of research on my own ahead of time to narrow down my vehicle make and model of choice, engine upgrades, creature comforts, accessories, and warranty and service options. By the time I even enter the parking lot of a car dealership, I'm 85% set on the one what that I want to buy. With that being said, my car dealership shopping experiences in the past have always been somewhat uncomfortable. Very aggressive, pushing me and my family into looking at something that I am not really interested in, and the countless sales pitches on limited inventory and special prices. I get it. I've worked in retail so I understand that commissions, bonuses, and achieving monthly sales goals are always top of mind for sales representatives. But that all changed when I met Tommy Chung-Ming at Tony Nissan. His approach . . . was natural, his engagements . . . personal, and he LISTENED to what my wants and needs were . . . versus trying to assume what "would be best for me and my ohana". He is honest upfront, no cheesy sales pitches, broken promises, or false prophets. He is genuine and like able because of who is he and not because of what he does. His personality and aura is always positive and his energy is contagious. I have seen his interactions with other coworkers, mechanics, and service personnel and he always seems to have the unique ability to make people smile. I just recently purchased my fourth vehicle from him (yes FOUTH!!!). He knew what my maximum budget was and worked with what I was willing to spend, letting me know what would be possible and what would not be possible up front before even getting started. He combed through my paperwork and even though I was given a great finance rate . . . He encouraged me to take a couple of days to shop around at my personal bank and credit union to see if I could get a better / lower interest rate. Amazing from start to finish. No smoke and mirrors, no nonsense, no BS. That's how it should be and that is how my experience with Tommy has always been. Although I jokingly call him "my sales guy" I actually consider him to be a valued friend and even an extended part of my family. I originally bought my vehicle in March 2022 and my finance manager, Jason was amazing! He guided me during the entire process when purchasing the vehicle initially. Unfortunately, he now works for Tony Honda! Anywho, 10 months after purchasing my vehicle I got into a MVC on my way home from work one night, this is within the first week of December. I've went through the long anticipation with the results from the insurance company and adjusters and unfortunately, my Acura was considered a total loss. The lien-holder received the payment for the loss from my insurance company, and luckily I purchased GAP insurance at the time of purchasing the vehicle so I felt assured with closing off on my car to get me a new car. It's the day before February & my GAP claim has been sitting to be submitted for almost 3 weeks now because I have yet to receive my documentation proof of my warranty refund amount after cancelling it when I first notified Tony Nissan about the loss. I'm a mom, FT student & FT employee so I always make sure to prioritize my errands and given the situation, I've been relying on other modes of transportation in the mean time. I came in multiple times to the store to retain information, left my personal info with the finance manager who was helping me & all I was left was "I'll call you when I get more information" and almost 2 weeks went by. After waiting the first week, I started feeling something wasn't right & decided to call again. A gentleman then transferred me to a female who again took my personal info (phone number, email, etc.) and told me she will contact me with more info and again never responded. She even asked me to submit documents via text that pertained to the document I'm inquiring about. At this point, I'm just so stressed out and the sad thing is... I was treated poorly throughout my entire process of a total loss altogether & really had high hopes for Tony Nissan to be helpful at the very least but I guess I was wrong. Not to mention, just to wait for the GAP insurance to kick in is another 45-60 days.... In the future, I won't be purchasing vehicles from Tony Nissan again. read more

In fact, it is so new that it is not even registered yet. Funny how I've been asking you all to buy my 2 year old Titan back because of the rust issue, repair it and then use mine as a loaner. My wife took our 2016 Nissan Rogue in for an oil change. And decided to get a safety check so we could update the registration. They did both and when she went to pick it up she was told the battery was leaking acid and that we'd need a new battery, which cost $229, to pass the safety check. We declined the new battery. She was then informed the car wouldn't start. So again they pushed for a new battery. Mind you, she doesn't know how to handle these types of situations so she's texting me from the time she dropped off the vehicle. So now I'm frustrated because the car was running perfect and gave us no problems starting up until this point. I told her to have them call me. They call me and I'm expressing my frustrations and he's telling me they did nothing to kill the battery and that an oil change doesn't kill the battery. Yes, but leaving the car in accessory mode to listen to music while changing the oil kills the battery. But of course they'd never admit to that. So what happened from the time we dropped off the vehicle to when we picked it up?! Like I said before, we had no issues with getting it started prior to taking it in. All of a sudden the car won't start?! And we have to pay an extra $229 on top of the $80 oil change?! I got nowhere with the representative I was speaking to. He offered to charge it up a bit but my wife would have to wait an extra hour for that to be done. I just told him I'd talk to my wife. While I was on the phone she had texted me that they jumped it to get it started. So I told her to just go home because our son was getting off of school soon and she had to pick him up. We've been taking our Rogue here since 2019 when we purchased it. I even bought my 2021 Nissan Frontier here and get it serviced as well. I've never really had issues with them. I love how you can make your appointment online. You'll also get a friendly text reminder reminding you of your appointment. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly attendant asking me if I had an appointment. He escorted me to the service area letting me know that a team member will be assisting me. I was welcomed by Matthew Cardenas! Very friendly and helpful explaining to me what services I requested for. He went on to share how much it would cost me and then shared the about the Tony Care Special. What an amazing deal! Sign me up. This special includes - 3 oil and filter changes, 3 tire rotations, 3 multi point inspections and 3 car washes for only $249.88. Honestly this was the only time this special was offered so I'm grateful that Matthew offered it to me. The wait time was reasonable with only an hour and half wait time. They have seating area around which allows you to wait comfortably. I bought my computer and was able to get some work done. Overall, my experience was great! I bought a Nissan Leaf from a used lot about 3 years ago from one current employee, Allen Dietrich. Allen was extremely knowledgeable about the leaf and recommended us to buy it. As we test drive it , we were convinced it was a good buy. Allen also notified us that it'll be available for a battery replacement if it drops one bar. Fast forward 3 years... Allen no longer works for the used lot but us back at Nissan. I didn't know this little bit till later, however Allen was so kind enough to verify thru pictures that it qualifies for the battery replacement. Then he shared what he found out. there is another owner in the same situation that has waiTed over a year and that Nissan actually bought back the car at the manufactur's suggested price! we hope to keep the car but will not say not if Nissan wants to buy it back!! Allen reminded me, "hey, I told you my motto is to save you money even 10 years down the line!" And he has not proved me wrong!! If I could write a blow em out of the water review, this would have to be it. This review is a consolidated review from three visits. To begin I purchased my Leaf from Francis from another dealership. First experience here had to do with a recall on my 2012 LEAF. The original dealership wasn't going to be able to help me for a couple of weeks. So I called to bitch at Francis. Found he was no longer there. But was at another Nissan Dealership. Great! Being a recall, maybe he can help me. I called him at Tony Nissan. Expecting a run-around, all psych up ready to get a no--can-do attitude he pleasently remembered me, and invited me to meet with me about my problem. NO WAY! SO YOU CAN SELL ME ANOTHER CAR? Promise no sales pitch. So he refers me to the service department and they told me sure, bring in my 2012 on a Saturday? Wut? You open on Saturday? Took in on Saturday and waited in their waiting area. When the was done, I inquired if my 2013 was affected by the recall also. A quick check indicated it was. Alrighty make me an appointment. How's about this afternoon? Whoa what? SURE! Raced home and came back with my 2013. Done! Both cars done in one day on a Saturday! No need take off work. Second incident involved a power outage in my complex. I knew I would have to charge up someplace. Went to my original Dealership. Level 3 Charger was broken and level 2 Chargers were being used by their cars. Yeah it's a business and they need to charge the cars they are trying to sell. But both cars were fully charged. I inquired at the reception desk and was told there was no one in the sales department yet. NVM... Stopped off at Tony Nissan, and had a car in there also. But it was actively being charged. Decided to use level 2 charger and wait for Level 3. I went to the sign in sheet, and the reception desk said they could move their car if I needed the level 3. Wow! And they did! Today is my third involvement with Tony Nissan. Another Recall... Again took my 2012 to the original dealership. First appointment of the day. Service didn't open till 6am. Chargers were open, so I decided to charge while I was waiting. No can do. I have to wait till they were open. Fine. When my car was done, I inquired if my 2013 was affected by this recall. They needed my VIN to look it up. I've purchased and been bringing my car here. Can't you look it up in the service records? Nope, they need to verify the VIN. Called Tony Nissan, no problem. Can I bring it in first thing tomorrow morning? Yeah sure! I'm sitting in the waiting room as I type this. Remember... I didn't buy my cars from this dealership. I can't get over how they are treating me. I am planning on getting a new LEAF before the battery craps. No need say where I'm getting it from. Really have to apologise to the service advisors for not getting their names. I bought a certified Nissan leaf from Tony Nissan and added the ceramic Paint protection. The sales person gave me the brochure and stated that I would get 5 years of annual reapplication. After 3 years they told me my reapplication.service is done. I asked about the 5 year guarantee and they Saud only for new cars mine was used. I explained that I paid $1100 for this option, the same as a new car. NO RESPONSE. I was surprised because Tony Nussan had good reviews. You're kidding right? Today makes exactly two weeks the truck has been at Tony Nissan. There has been absolutely NO contact from the company regarding any status. Unless of course your "missed the mark" comment counts. My opinion has NOT changed. I was told the second time the truck went in that 1 week was NOT enough, although I have texts saying it's ready. On December I traded in my wife's Nissan rogue 2016, to surprise her with a Nissan pathfinder 2018 SL with all the bells and whistle's. This is the second vehicle I purchased through Tony Nissan.
