Josh does quality work and is very helpful. The old (noisy) garage door opener burned out and Josh replaced it with a wall mounted unit that is very quiet. He brought the new opener, removed and disposed of the old opener, installed the new opener, and explained all of the features. The other opener was still working but was also very noisy and would automatically re-open when trying to close (as if there was an obstruction). He did maintenance on it to lubricate everything etc. and it is running much quieter now without any problems. Before he started the work he explained everything (including some options) and made sure we were in agreement. The work went very quickly and looked great with any wires neatly secured along the corners of the wall/ceiling. After a couple days the new opener stopped closing. I contacted Josh and he was happy to try to assist over the phone but ended up coming back out to determine that the sensor needed adjusting which he quickly fixed and did not charge for. read more

Josh was nice and very responsive, I submitted a quote request through Yelp at 10pm one night and get got back to me within 15 minutes to chat, provide me with a quote and schedule an appointment for a spring conversion. He arrived at our house at the time we scheduled for and he did the conversion job rather quickly and well. It was less than 45 minutes for sure. It wasn't like he did a rushed it, he's so skillful at his work that he knew exactly what needed to be done. Seemed like he could do it in his sleep, so I'm glad I contacted him. Regarding the job, we bought a new construction at the end of 2015. The garage spring system that came with the house is the Wayne Dalton Torquemaster Plus system. This system was installed on all of these homes because they are inexpensive and it allows the homeowner to safely replace the springs themselves. The bad thing is that the springs are small and thin and they typically go out every 3 years. Not to mention the instructions are confusing. From researching online, a lot of people recommend converting the system to the traditional torsion spring because that spring is rated for 10 years. Josh's pricing aligned with what people were saying the conversion costs. Very happy with the result and I'm glad we don't have to worry about it for another 10 years. Thanks, Josh. read more
