We dropped by this spot after watching the Portugal match at fifa fest. I was worried we wouldn't be able to get in due to our casual attire but we were fine. We were quickly seated inside. There's a large "outside covered" area in front. Not sure if that's part of the same restaurant. I loved the purse rack next to our table. Great touch! I ordered the lomo saltodo. The meat was so good! I also loved dipping my fries in the sauce/gravy from the meat. The sweet plantains were a nice treat. Sweet and savory! While it says they close at 10, the restaurant stayed open well after and I saw people come in as we were leaving. There are several locations in Miami. I will definitely be back!

My friend and I ate here last night and had a great time. We ordered the causa limena and classic ceviche of the day to start. The little bit of sweet potato puree in the ceviche was a nice creamy touch to the lime flavors; the corn added a perfect crunch and the fish was super fresh. The causa was also very well balanced and great portions for both. For entrees we were both happy with our lomo saltado and tortellini à la huancaina dishes; both huge portions and sauces were very flavorful. The restaurant was big, well decorated, and not too loud despite it being Friday night. Our server, Carlos, was super attentive during our meal without rushing us at all. He was nice enough to bring me hot sauce on the side when my friend and I debated mild-spicy on our ceviche. Would highly recommend and I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area.

This place is so south beach. Impeccable service, amazing presentation, vibrant flavors. I've been thinking about this place ever since I visited a month ago. Not one dish or piece of sushi was a disappointment. This place is a vibe for sure. The truffle Scallop roll was very memorable and the desserts were

I must go whenever you visit Miami. This is my second time going to this place and specifically dislocation because they have multiple locations. Not only the staff is very friendly and took their time to explain to me their food and specialty, but all of the food that I ordered came out pretty fast. They have a very cool vibe and I really really love Peruvian ceviche. Don't get overwhelmed with them menu because they are all so good and worth it. The downside is the challenge finding a parking because this location is located at one of the most crowded area. I tried four ceviche variations sampler, and they are all divine. Oh my God, don't forget to order their grilled octopus, so so so good and highly recommend.

Had a quick stop over in Miami and was craving ceviche! CVI.CHE 105 is home to one of the best ceviches I have ever tried. Not only was the environment and wait staff so inviting, the food was delicious. I was able to be seated at the bar and ordered a drink and it was happy hour decided order the ceviche, sushi roll and scallops. Everything was amazing. The best of all was the ceviche. After, I had a sweet tooth and the waiter recommended the key lime pie! Hands down best key lime pie I have ever had! No wonder why this restaurant has so many reviews! It's truly amazing and can't wait or go back

I really love this place! I was busy during this trip and couldn't dine in. On my last day, I knew I had to order UberEats along with my ride to airport. Thank god I timed it out perfectly! The Ceviche Trio are my favourite! It's the third time I have it and you don't wanna miss out on it. Super fresh, super flavourful, fish texture is great not chalky and old! Not fishy. I really wish they open a location in LA! *Their side limo pepper is a must (if you like spicy, it elevates the ceviche to another whole new level)

Delicious ceviches! We tried two of them, so refreshing the scallops, shrimp, octopus, fish - with delicious sauce. Wish we could have tried all the ceviches. The special salmon pasta dish was okay, salmon was very dry. But the seafood paella is so Amazing!! Beautiful atmosphere and staff was very attentive & friendly!

I recently visited CVI.CHE 105 and had mehhhh feelings about this place. On the positive side, the food was excellent. The fish tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with citrus and spice. The portions were small, but every dish that came to the table was well-presented so flavorful and packed with great flavor, (I don't know anything about Peru so i guess it tasted Peruvian..lol.) The atmosphere was lively, the dining area was beautifully designed and it's easy to see why they were recommended and popular. Unfortunately, there was one issue that significantly impacted my thoughts while sitting at the bar. I observed the bartender using the same pair of gloves to handle cash, operate the payment terminal, prepare drinks, and serve food without changing gloves. As someone who pays attention to food safety and sanitation, especially when I can see it ,this was concerning to watch and took away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable visit. Fortunately he only made me one drink and took my payment other than that he had no real impact on my eating or drinking experience I just thought it was not very clean in that he was used to doing this daily. The food itself deserves high marks, and I could see nothing that was going on in the kitchen so I can only guess they're doing everything correct but improper hygiene practices behind the bar are just as important as in the kitchen. I hope management addresses this because the restaurant was pretty cool and I was planning on visiting later that night. If not for that experience, I would have rated it at least four stars for the flavor and the service and taken away one star for the portion size but I understand it's Miami and you get an experience and a location not necessarily what you pay for. For now, I'm giving it 3 stars based on the excellent food but disappointing attention to sanitation.

Wow. Amazing place! Just reaffirmed my love for Peruvian food. We went as a group of 8 without reservation on a Friday night. It was crowded but still somehow we didn't have to wait long for a table. The decors was beautiful. The food as you can see from the pictures were well presented and they were so yummy. The drinks were beautifully made and tasty. Definitely worthy of instagram. And the staff probably has plenty experience there too. When we asked for group photos, the waitress and the manager proceeded to use the table lamps as lighting, we practically had a photo shoot. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to come back this way and take my wife there.

It's been a few days and I'm still thinking about this place (namely, their hotate truffle sushi roll) but everything we tried was amazing! I came here with a large group so we ordered several dishes to share. This place is known for their ceviche, but their hotate truffle sushi roll was so amazing I have to shout it out twice. The scallop in the roll melted like butter in the mouth and was so rich and flavorful. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, I would travel to this restaurant for that dish alone. Of course, all the other food was fantastic. My other favorite was the hamachi tiradito, which was thinly sliced hamachi with onion mix, sprouts, and acevichada sauce. Overall, the freshness, bright flavors, and mix of textures throughout the entire meal will be on my mind for a long time. Our server, Yamila, was also incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive and made our entire experience great. - Ambiance: 5/5 - Food: 5+/5 - Service: 5+/5

CVI.CHE 105 was an absolute hit for our group. We ordered a ton of food to share for 9 girls and somehow demolished every single plate which is always a good sign. The standout dishes were the mini tartar tacos (so good and perfectly bite-sized), the truffle scallop nigiri, and the seafood ceviche. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients shines through. The only downside was lomo Saltado was a bit too citrusy for our taste but definitely special from what we've tasted in the past. Service was excellent. Our waitress was super personable, attentive, and even took the time to recommend some fun nightlife spots for us afterward, which was such a nice touch.

They have the best lobster fish ceviche with gold flakes for only $98 ( if I remember it right ). It was the best ceviche I've ever had! I thought I already tried the best ceviches in San Diego but wait until you tried this. It's very flavorful and every bite is very satisfying. They de-shelled the lobster for you so you wouldn't have to do anything else but just eat and enjoy your food. I don't remember the names of the other entree's we ordered but everything they served here is very tasty, delicious and has its rich flavors that you won't find somewhere else. The place is huge and beautiful, the employees are really friendly and kind. I did not know they have several locations but this particular restaurant is my favorite of all! I highly recommend!

Is octopus still on the menu?

    Yes.

    Is this place Kids friendly?

It depends on how old your kids are and how eclectic their tastes are. If they like this type of food and are pretty well-behaved, then I think it is fine. I was in this restaurant late on a Sunday evening and I did not see any kids there.

We have one person in our party that is vegetarian. Is there anything on the menu at all that could accommodate?

Not the place for vegetarians. They may have a salad or two, but I do not know of any good dish for vegetarians, I suggest to call the restaurant. However, the experience is so good that you deserve to go just for the ginger salad.

Can all/any ceviches be ordered without cilantro?

    YES!

Hay comida sin gluten para noño?

    Si. Ceviche.

DonI need to make a reservation?

No, but I recommend that you do, specially on a weekend afternoon or evening.

    Is the downtown location open?

Yes, they have a limited menu at their sister location next door "Pollos y Jarras."

Are you open tomorrow Fri 11/27?

Undergoing renovations. (3 months) Visit Pollos y Jarras next door

    Hola tienen servicio de delivery?

No not yet, but maybe with the Coronavirus they will. Love SuVichy they are Peruvian Japanese in the area with takeout & delivery @ 50% off.

Is there an option to just order the sushi? It's the best in the city.

Yes! I have ordered just sushi for takeout in the past

Are there any free/cheap parking locations nearby?

The parking near bayside. Valet at restaurant is $20

Everyone was kind and friendly and super helpful in sharing places to eat and things to do during our stay, especially Mickey, the GM. I started with the Spicy blackberry margarita and it was an excellent choice. It was the perfect blend of sweet with a touch of heat/spice at the end. It was so good that I had two during LUNCH! Our dinner at Tâm Tâm can be summed up with two words: FLAVOR BOMB!…read more But you know I can't stop at two words. Tâm Tâm was at the top of my list for Miami Spice foodie adventures, and with the annual event winding down* it was high time to get our fix in. I've had this Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant on my radar for quite sometime, but the dining stars hadn't quite aligned yet. However, last night was the night! This intimate lowkey dining spot was all a buzz on hump day. A reservation was a no-go for any civilized eating hour, but we managed to score a great table outside within 15 minutes of showing up during primetime. They do not have a liquor license but do have a comprehensive wine menu and some low/no-ABV cocktails. Unfortunately, the one I had my heart set on (Pathfinder with a Calamansi foam) was no longer on the menu, and our server said he did not recommend the Aplos Spicy Margarita which was the only other thing I was considering, and hubby is an Old Fashioned drinker, so we stuck with water. We both opted for the Miami Spice menu. They've priced it at $50 for dinner, but portions are notably smaller (halved) for at least the entrees (not sure about the apps and dessert). I started with the Scallop Pomelo Crudo. This light and refreshing dish had my tastebuds dancing with every bite. Hubby went for the Lotus Root Salad which I snagged a few bites of. If we return for a regular menu night, this will be a resounding yes. So bright and flavorful with a nice mix of textures. With the Miami Spice menu Tâm Tâm was also offering a complimentary duo of their signature house wings. I don't eat chicken so instead they brought me the shimeji mushrooms which I destroyed! No man mushroom left behind. I'm generally not a fan of dill but it works in this dish, playing up the seafood notes of the La Vong sauce. As for the wings? Hubby was in heaven. He said they were the best chicken wings he's ever had, and getting him to give more than a "good" or "okay" on a dish is a tall order, so that my friends is a rave review. I tried a little dip of the sauce and it was delicious. For entrees, my man went for the Lamb Wrap Situation, and I opted for the Grilled Sea Bass. The fish was cooked and deboned expertly. The fish sauce and citrus notes of the nuoc cham were at times a little overpowering, but I also was trying to avoid the carb hit of the white rice which would probably mellow it a bit. Other than that, the dish was great. The lamb wrap received a resounding thumbs up from my other half as he devoured the whole plate. For dessert we picked one of each, the cashew passionfruit cheesecake, and the seasonal dessert, a guava ice cream. The cheesecake was much thinner/smaller than I expected, but the flavors are so pronounced that a little goes a long way. It's not intended to be eaten together, but the sweetness of the guava ice cream pairs perfectly with the tartness of the passion fruit. We could have easily polished off a second round of the desserts, but this was a good stopping point. Overall, Tâm Tâm is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the stomach and tastebuds. The plating is beautiful and thoughtful, and each ingredient is carefully considered to create a symphony of flavors on the tongue. Based on food alone, this is one of the best meals I've had in a long time, hence the 5 stars. But, if I'm being honest, the service? More of a 3 or 4 star. Getting water refills was hit or miss. The time between courses was sometimes awkwardly long. And we were never offered any tea or coffee (perphaps they don't make it?). Instead the server just dropped the check off. They were very busy that night, so it's likely a lack of time thing, but those little details are what really takes a meal to the next level. I'm still keeping the review at 5 stars though because the food is really the star of the show and the reason people are lining up to dine here in the middle of the week. *Miami Spice has officially been extended thru October this year however Tâm Tâm has yet to confirm if they'll continue participating.

I was promptly seated when I got it. I started with their salted lemonade because who ever thought that salt belonged in lemonade?? So tasty and happy that I got it I opted for the Miami Spice menu since I had a good spread of the best items I wanted to try. I loved that Tam Tam wings were complimentary. The Scallop pomelo crudo was so good, they melted like butter in my mouth. Now there was a discrepancy between what Miami Spice website listed as the menu items and what's actually being offered by the restaurant. The Goat curry listed rice noodles on the Miami Spice website but the restaurant was offering egg noodles. I was so happy that they offered to change the egg noodles out for rice. Thank goodness because I really wanted to try the goat curry, it was so delicious, soft and flavorful. The fact that they even asked if I had any allergies, you can tell they really try to give you the best experience. No dessert for me as the options were not gluten free and dairy free. The bustling, cavernous dining room with its classic wooden accents and lively atmosphere creates an unforgettable setting for a classic seafood feast. The service was remarkably polished and attentive, carrying on decades of legendary hospitality. The food exceeded every expectation: the iconic Crab Claws were sweet, succulent, and perfectly chilled, while the decadent Lobster Mac offered ultimate rich comfort. Surprisingly, their classic Fried Chicken delivered a golden, perfectly crispy bite, and the Creamed Spinach rounded out the meal as an ideal, savory side dish.

Walking in you get that old school feel with the staff dressed to the tee and very friendly. They had a special pre fixe menu that was fairly priced which allowed me to try a lot of the menu instead of having to order a la carte. Our server was professional and terse but in a way that I didn't mind and he even scolded some other busboys for taking too long to clear our table which I found funny but appreciated too. I started with the Stuffies which were amazing! The baked clams were dressed up nicely and these were very tasty. The stone crabs were delicious and I loved the dipping sauce it came with. Granted we visited outside of stone crab season and so I'd love to come back when the crabs are more fresh and in season. It also came with sides of hash browns, creamed spinach, and a grilled tomato. While I appreciate the quantity and variety they gave, these sides were a miss for me. The pre fixe concluded with my choice of the Key Lime Pie which was a nice ending for the meal. Nicely balanced between tart and sweetness. My only note would be for the crust layer to be bigger since it would help balance out the pie portion a bit better. We also got the fried chicken which is a steal for only $9. Excellent and crispy skin and very moist! The only dry piece was the breast unfortunately, but otherwise it's hard to find a better fried chicken at this price.
