Came here this evening with my Mom (who had eaten here at a business meeting when she was in Florida last year and waxed poetic about the food, so when we were back in the state we made sure to stop by). Wow!!! First, the service was amazing! Gerson, our server, was hustling all night to make sure his tables were well taken care of. He helped us decide between appetizers - we ended up having two delicious starters - a Tiradito Pura Tradicion and a Causa Limena. They were both excellent! For dinner, mom had the Risotto y Lomo Saltado, the same dish she had last year. It was rich and creamy and so flavorful! I had Gerson's recommendation, the Pesca Al Ajillo, and it was the best seafood dish I've ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly, and tasted bright and fresh. I also had one of their traditional cocktails, the chilcano, in mango - it was boozy and sweet and very good. Great music and decor too - the vibe was great. Peruvian food it is! I was glad to see the flexible menu for vegetarians - only a few options though. My favourite dish was potatoes with the golden creamy peruvian sauce -it had a smooth texture and was immensely flavorful. It's incredible how this peruvian sauce turned a basic potato into a finger-licking dish! The fried rice dish was soul-satiating too! This restaurant is located conveniently and is about a 15 minute walk if you are staying at south beach. The staff was hospitable and helpful for recommendations. This was my first meal ever in Miami and was a great experience. After a bit of searching online, I came across a place with an incredible number of good reviews. I came here and was not disappointed. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. I sat outside and was provided with excellent service by my server. The menu is diverse and offers excellent selection. The food is categorized effectively and the descriptions of the dishes are concise and adequately expository. I chose the Pisco Sour for a drink and the " papas a la huancaina" as an appetizer -- potatoes covered in a glorious golden sauce made of Andean cream milk, cheese, and Peruvian yellow pepper. This was an absolute surprise of a delight and was a good start to a meal. The drink was awesome as "105" was somehow drawn on the foam head of the drink. NEATO!!! For my entree, I went for the "corvina a la chorrillana" -- this was a piece of fish that was pan seared and surrounded by shrimp, mussels, clams, and a lot of onions. Fantastic and filling meal. Attended the grand reopening after their new renovations and wow it is beautiful and everything about it is perfect! Valet parking is $20. Food, cocktails, staff, decorations! I would rate over 5 stars if possible. I loved that they even include bamboo straws for your cocktails which means they truly care for our environment. Honestly was hoping it would be five stars and I have to say the guy I was meeting was also good conversation so the fact that the food was so good went a bit unnoticed. I do love Peruvian food and was invited by a client so I didn't want to put too much thinking into ordering and just let the waitress dictate which ceviches to get. Came here to try out their food and I'm glad I did! The decor was really unique and I loved how the decorated the elevator. We went upstairs and it was a nice atmosphere. We had Brian as our waiter and he was amazing! Very attentive and gave us great recommendations. He was very personable and enhanced our experience here. We got the mixed ceviche dish to share, very refreshing and tasty, I would get it again. We also got this octopus dish as an appetizer which was flavorful. It wasn't too chewy and was really soft. My main dish was the pescado a lo macho which was delicious!! I would definitely get it again. The place was cold and so the thought of cold fish was hard for me to want. I ordered the Jaleah Real which was a fried seafood platter and meh... it was ok only. My husband ordered the Corvina a la Chorralana and it was so good. I wish I would've ordered that. The fish was marinated and in a red pepper sauce. It had a bit too many onions but overall the flavor was great! If we were to go back- definitely would try the ceviche and maybe my husbands dish! I'll admit that I had to steady myself upon seeing that CVI.CHE105's flaship Mixed Arroz Chaufa came with a whopping price tag of $27.95, but those fears were alleviated upon seeing the absolutely mountain of a portion that this came with. My dish could have easily covered two hearty meals, but I opted instead to eat the entire thing over the course of about two hours. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? This was sensational. Pure and simple. I obsess over rice dishes, love surf and turf, and this turned out to be one of the single best dishes that I've had so far in 2021. Since i was staying jump around the block to YVE Hotel this place was super close and just a walk away. It prides itself on Peruvian cuisine so you know it's seafood heavy! I ordered the Ceviche Ají Amarillo and a glass of a Spanish wine. The Ceviche was really good. A bit of everything with seafood and a sauce that was just a bit spicy - very refreshing. I just happened to run into a local who was taking her dog for a walk. Mom and I were looking for some good South American tonight, so she recommended CVI.CHE 105, not too far from Bayside Marketplace. When we arrived, the hostess greeted us and reassured us the place won't disappoint. It sure didn't. It appeared the place tends to get real busy, so we came here early. Stefano was our server, and he was quite the jolly man. The place is famous for its ceviche, diced raw fish mixed with lime juice, cilantro, and red onions. The interior was quite modern, something that seemed fitting for a restaurant of this caliber. Stefano explained the specials for the evening, which were a threesome ceviche sampler of three of the restaurant's most popular ceviche dishes and a special margarita. We decided to get both the special platter and the special drink. The platter came out in style: three glasses filled with different ceviches and a lobster ceviche along with the body for show. Mom found out it wasn't and picked extra meat from the spots she knew had meat. Everything was fabulous, I would give 6 out of 5 if I could. I am so in LOVE with this restaurant, while they have been around for a while, it's new to me. My boyfriend and I were super hungry and we only like certain places so he started looking for places to eat and found this on Google. To my surprise it's a hidden gem. The food was delicious and the prices were actually decent for this economy. We order the trio Ceviche & I knew I was going to like everything else. The drinks were honestly very good, together we tried four-- all equally amazing. Just look at the photos, the food was soooo amazing, and the atmosphere is beautiful as well. It feels exactly like I imagined Miami would be like- glitzy, hopping, and not stiff. The food was fantastic. The eponymous ceviche was super fresh, light, and refreshing. I recommend getting a sampler to try out their different marinades. Surprisingly, the sleeper hit of the night for me was the veal heart skewer, which was tender and honestly tasted like a fine cut of meat rather than offal. It was probably the best ceviche I have had in years- fish was incredibly fresh, the octopus was perfectly cooked and the marinade was just spectacular. I could have eaten 2 servings of that and been happy. We also had another meat dish with the tomatoes and rice and plantains which was also out of this world. We were skeptical about the fries with it but it was actually a great touch! Our waitress was also amazing - she took such great care of us and was so kind. The interior is beautifully decorated and we stared at the art on the back wall with the crystal for our entire dinner. Our server, Carolina, was very friendly and attentive. We ordered our drinks, the Guavon, the Chola fashion and the black tea drink, all were great!
