The staff was quick, courteous, they seem to know their customers by name. That's something I miss. I had to go back for refills, I experienced the same thing. They called me by my first name. On another occasion, they called to let me know how my medication was going, they saw that it was time to refill. When I walked in, they all said hi, they had my medication ready and checked in on me. I appreciate them. I know it's not a big deal for any of you, but for me, he's a little moments of humanity really make me feel better. Thank you to that wonderful staff there.

So, I searched pharmacies on yelp and called down the list of top rated to ask if they had it in stock. Was told over the phone that they could fill the prescription within the hour here so headed over. Area is not great, but it's around the corner from a great hospital where I got my first covid vaccines so street parking is possible. Once I checked in, they told me it was a 20 minute wait. No problem processing my insurance. Surprisingly, there's also a yelp check in offer! Not only did I leave with my prescription filled fairly quickly, but also with a tote, pen, and calendar. Unexpected freebies were a great finale to an otherwise stressful situation. Thank you, 986!

I couldn't even find this pharmacy listed anywhere on My Charts. I have no direct information on the pharmacy itself as I couldn't even access it. I'll probably end up sticking with Express Scripts, GoodRx, and Mark Cuban's pharmacy, Cost Plus Drugs. I pay $13 for a particular drug through Mark Cuban's pharmacy--whereas it is $150 through my prescription plan. Go figure. For the lack of a better word, this place is disturbing, rude people and they do not have the concept of customer service. People just doesn't seem to be happy working here, and they project that onto you, the patrons. In my case, I was in need of my medication to be refilled, since I already know from my previous experiences, this pharmacy will take a long time to fill the prescription--I called a few days ahead. My expectation was to have the medication ready to go when I pick it up, along with my Dr. Appointment on that very same day. Well, of course they do not have the medication, they only have partial. Then, one of the employee told me that she will give the available partial doses to me (the very same time), and for me to come back for the rest the next day. I was waiting like an idiot for 25 minutes, until the same lady asked me "why are you still here?" Apparently she though, that she had told me to come back another day for ALL the medication that I needed; failing to tell me, and now being apologetic about that. What was the point in calling 3 days prior for my medication? What was the point of waiting an additional 25 minutes and still not getting ANY medication? And of course, during all this commotion they have IT people busy relocating computers and equipment, you could not pick a better time when its off hours, but surely you can pick your busiest time at 10 in the morning. The rest of the staff in the back are just busy giggling and probably laughing at how miserable the patients are. Touche' Medical Center pharmacy, you have won the best award for employing the most ignorant, lazy and rude people available in San Fernando Valley. You have upped the game in the "lowered expectation" category.
