This is a review towards a Male pharmacist last night April 2 around 7-8pm. There was no Mucinex available that I am used to taking and this guy suggested Sudafed. I told him, am taking Amlodipine which is bad to combine and he said it was safe! Still, I did not listen and walked out. The pharmacy has few stocks available and is always missing items.. Attached here is a proof that Sudafed and Amlodipine have interaction risk and is very dangerous combo. Just awareness, ask your doctor and not a pharmacist. not the staffs fault apparently they were bought out by some horrible private equity company thats running them into the ground. being so short staffed is why there have been wrong prescriptions filled (and yeah its as dangerous to get the wrong medicine as you imagine) and why they have everything locked up and the store always looks terrible now. i had several issues with them saying they couldn't get approval to fill my prescription filled over several months for a medicine that's very important to take regularly. i eventually had to make several phone calls and it turned out that they were sending it over to the insurance completely incorrectly. I moved to costco and have had a lot less trouble. read more

This CVS which is located next to TJ Maxx in the same shopping center as Safeway. It's actually quite a large store compared to some that I've been to. They have a wide range of items from beauty products to gift cards including the pharmacy. The store is well lit with wide aisles which makes it easy to navigate. The woman checking us out was nice and even tried to help SCW and I find something we came for which was nice. Checkout was a bit slow but that's just due to a bit of a rush. Not a big deal. The prices seemed reasonable with many items on sale with your CVS card. A-ok! read more

This location's pharmacy workers are fantastic. Previously we had a hard time scheduling Novavax COVID vaccines at other locations. My husband has a bad reaction to the other vaccines, so this one works better for us (does not cause any side effects). When this location did not have it in the spring, a gentleman working in the pharmacy ordered it for us. He was kind and helpful and answered our questions. A couple days ago, we scheduled another Novavax vaccine via the CVS website. Alison, the pharmacy worker this time, double checked to make sure we had the correct vaccine, asked us multiple times for consent regarding the vaccines, which arm we would receive the shots, confirmed they were they correct vaccines, etc. She was efficient and friendly, so we were in and out in 10 minutes. Something we also appreciated as medically vulnerable patients is that she and the other pharmacy workers wear masks, which helps prevent the spread of respiratory illness. I hope these workers get a raise! We will always go to this CVS location now for prescriptions and vaccines instead of Kaiser, Sutter, or Costco. Much better service! The pharmacy has the worst customer service!!! I had surgery and got discharged after pharmacy hours.. I needed my medication the next morning as i was in serve pain. They told me to wait over an hour for my medication and there wasn't a way to expedite. I know that is bullcrap because used to work in a pharmacy and that is not how your treat customers. The store is disappointing. They are always out of items. If you go to the store, you must go with intent to not finding anything in particular. They have two self checkout machines and one doesn't work. One self check out machine froze while I was using it and I ended up having to get in line to get my items anyways after getting a lecture from the cashier that the machine froze because I scanned an item that I can't use self check out for . Their system was down and would not take my phone number cashier attempted to help me but she couldn't make my phone number work. She signed up me for a new account. It still didn't work. She couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work and then asked me if I knew other peoples phone numbers we could try so that I didn't have to pay full price. The system wasn't taking anybody's phone numbers for customer accounts, so this was a waste of time. I work ended up paying full price and wasting almost 20 minutes of my time. read more

I come here with my friends all the time but, this one worker in particular has been nothing but disrespectful and rude to me and my friend's from constantly watching/ following us around the store and harassing us, I also caught her talking bad about me. During the summer she accused me for "stealing" which I have never stolen before I got it all on video. I was calm with her whole time and she got mad when I raised my voice a little bit. She even checked our bags one time which I've been cooperative the whole time and let her check she accused me of stealing a half eaten bag of gummy bears that my friend gave me for a gift and she told us we had to leave ours bags at the front when we come in keep in mind she doesn't do this to the other customers just us because we're "kids". I usually have no problem but I went to this location to fill my prescription, on yelp it says they close at 10 PM so I went at seven only to find out that the pharmacy closes at six. I very calmly said that the hours were different on Yelp and there's an option for them to change their store hours on Yelp, she replied with "actually, no there isn't goodbye", turned her back and walked away. I guess it's that time of year again. Our girls have caught a cold. The usual sniffles, drippy nose and cough. And of course we're out of cough syrup! So I went off to CVS/pharmacy (formerly Long's Drugs). The layout completely changed on me. Even though it was a whole new layout, I thought I'd push my luck and headed directly to the same general area where the cold meds were in the past. The place seemed wider. I didn't feel claustrophobic wandering the aisles. After staring at headache capsules, one of their cashiers just happened to walk by. I asked where the kid's cough meds were and she lead me to the right aisle. This place was broken down into the following sections: Beauty, Apparel, Household, Stationery, Food, Beverages, Baby, Health, Beer & Wine and of course the Pharmacy. Janice the pharmacist was THEE BEST! I brought my son in for his second Covid shot and he was really struggling working up the courage to do it. He was crying non stop and her warm embrace and demeanor helped us all get through it. She knew what she was doing which is huge but her personality was everything! Helping distract him by asking questions about what he liked and just talking and taking off all the pressure. Anyone can get certified and fill a job but it's very rare to have someone who has the bedside manner to match the quality of skill. I hope CVS realizes how lucky they are to have her. I've been going to CVS Pharmacy in Green Valley since moving back to California this past June. I had been living in Florida for the past year recovering from an organ transplant. Needless to say, I am on several medications for the rest of my life to prevent rejection of my new organ. With that said, a post-transplant person deals with changing prescriptions and dosage adjustments on a regular basis. So I was in need of a squared away local pharmacy to help me transfer all my meds to my new home. With this in mind, I must say the staff at CVS Pharmacy in Green Valley have been wonderful in all aspects of customer service! Always welcoming and patient to listen to my concerns. Always ready to work with me to check on getting the lowest price. Moreover, the pharmacist is great at explaining any side effects I'll need to be aware of for safety. You'll find the whole staff is courteous, knowledgeable, dependable, and efficient. I highly recommend this Pharmacy for anyone looking for a well run pharmacy. We all know what a pain a poorly run pharmacy can be to deal with in this busy world. This Pharmacy is definitely NOT one of those!! Imagine going to this CVS store, shopping at the store for 30 minutes, crossing off your list of things to buy and having your coupons ready, the ones that are about to expire, you finally get in line. With one cashier and 5 people ahead of you in line, you wait patiently to be next, the cashier says "Sorry. The credit card machine is down and we are only accepting cash." How annoying is that? I know there really isn't much you can do, since its a system error. But, no apologies from the manager or the cashier. No wonder this CVS is always empty. read more

I am not a frequent buyer at CVS, but have to pick up my prescription medication here on a regular basis. And moreover, this store has got my favorite soap Yardley with lavender flavor. Today I dropped in to get my Yardley and other items. I just wanted to test my Amex Serve card on ISIS terminal because for some months I did not have a chance to try it. Amex is currently promoting it, offering $1 off each transaction. I am sort of interested in seeing how mobile payment system is going. The lady staff did not know much about the touchless payment terminal, at which I had to wave the back of my phone in proximity. The payment app requiring my 4-digit PIN goes without having to ask for my signature. What happened was she asked me to sign and I did. I was not embarrassed at all but store manager should perhaps know this. Lol read more

I went to the pharmacy to check what it would cost me to fill my 5 prescriptions. I was called up to the counter, handed the guy with the long hair, glasses, and goatee my prescriptions. He took one look, noticed there were 5 of them, shoved the paper back to me and said "uhm, yeah...it would really suck to put all 5 in and you don't even get them. it would just really suck" ....WHAT?! are you kidding me? I'm not doing it for leisure. I have multiple prescriptions and don't want to pay 100 dollars. Terrible experience. Like most of these other commentators, I also believe that this new CVS store has rude and slow service. They don't even greet customers nor ask them if they need assistance in finding particular items. I only go here occasionally to get cosmetics, cleansers, course materials, and medications SINCE it is the only pharmacy closest to home. Sure they have certain discounts on some items at times but they don't mind charging you extra taxes on anything you buy, which adds up the costs at the cash register. It's sad that this store DOES NOT give the same great, friendly, and warm service that the previous Long's used to. This is why I NO LONGER hesitate to drive extra miles to go to the closest Walgreen's on West Texas Street. That Walgreen's store even has more employees who are professional, they have more abundant choices of goods, and they ask if you need help. read more
