This CVS is the best pharmacy I have ever been to. They alert you when your prescriptions are ready and you don't wait in a long line for 15 minutes to pick them up. They explain things if you have questions. Also they have an outstanding check out at the front registers. Our favorite is Perlita, she is always helpful and kind and always has a wonderful smile on her face. After she checks you out, you leave feeling better then when you walked in. It is a great place. Avoid this pharmacy at all cost! Recently moved to the area and chose this location. I'm better off driving all the way to lake Las Vegas than to ever deal with the inept staff here. This CVS is usually quite good and my review might fit in better in reviews at corporate. I signed up for delivery service for my Rx. Lately, having mobility problems, using delivery became more important than before. In the last two weeks I've been receiving calls and text from CVSx want to know if I want a prescription filed. If you say yes, another call or text is sent when the Rx is ready. This can get hectic when multiple prescriptions are being filled at different times. After a few were finished, I ask for delivery, but it never arrived. A couple more ame up, requiring more phone calls. Sometimes yo have call the pharmacy department through the CVS network and then wait for a busy pharmacist to take the call. For the second time I requested delivery and it never arrived. So I called again to ask that every prescription be delivered. I'm waiting and hope it arrives, but think the whole delivery system needs to be simplified. read more

I just had a horrendous experience with a large blonde lady that works the front checkout. Basically, she called me a liar numerous times telling me I couldn't have been helped by a gentleman because no gentleman works there. I was there earlier today and helped by a gentleman. She also was frustrated with my payment card. All in all her tone was defiant, and not Customer oriented. I plan to shop at a different drugstore. read more

Always an incredible heart warming experience when I come to this pharmacy Danelle is a gentleman and the pharmacy that often helps me as I approach the counter. He knows my name and everything. He's so nice. He's so kind. He always find something to compliment me on that's sincere today. I bought some things at the front register and a new girl name. I moved to Las Vegas exactly one year ago. My husband took ill not long afterwards so I have been frequenting this cvs almost daily. Donali is the best Pharmacy person ever. Not only efficient fast and exact on prescriptions but he's caring and personable. He likes being there unlike some of the others. Love the fact that the store is open 24 hours. Everytime I go to the location at 8320 West Cheyenne, I always experience great customer service at the front counter and with the pharmacy. I really like this store, though it has been a CVS for years now & I can't get Yelp to change it, most of the staff remains the same. It is located within a small strip mall in Sun City where my folks live. Four stars reflects the store as a whole because some items geared towards younger set can't be found here. They have great selection in the clearance area, customer loyalty card & green bag rewards for bringing your own. The staff are friendly from the front of house cashiers to the pharmacy group who are all caring and know me and my Mom on sight. Always ask how the family is, etc. very helpful if a prescription is a problem with dealing w Dr for us. If this review were purely on Pharmacy alone, I'd give 5 stars easily. Reminds me of druggist who knew you and your family when I was growing up. They have a small US Post Office inside which can get very busy. Other unique attributes are an extensive selection of Hawaiian grocery items, including frozen Gold Coin Pork Buns, a variety of Asian & Filipino foods & spices and....a wall of umm personal lubricants etc the likes of which I've only seen rivaled at the Walgreens in the Castro District in SF: my Bay Area peeps know what I'm talking about. So this (compartive to the average) small CVS has a special place in my heart, because I can jump in the golf cart and shop (parking lot can be tricky to navigate with some of the senior drivers) and for treating my family so well. read more

I'm trying to locate a prescription that is not in stock at my normal pharmacy I am calling down a list of CVS locations here in Las Vegas this location was number seven and the only location to tell me that they could not and would not look to see if they carried my prescription I would have to physically come in. Really? In the middle of a pandemic lockdown you want me to come in just so you can look in the computer and see if the prescription is there? Ridiculous. read more

I went to this CVS because their Yelp rating was good and it is very close to me. I wanted to change my prescriptions to there. But she responded that they would not start carrying my medicines "because it is a 55+ neighborhood". Weird, I thought this CVS would be open to anyone, nowhere did it say that they discriminate against certain age minorities. So dont go here if you are younger than 55, you are not welcome. Also dont go into any CVS anywhere because this chain are not honest enough to use signs to explain who is welcome and who is not. read more

This CVS is like a night and day difference from the CVS located on W. Cheyenne where the Pharmacy staff are so welcoming, friendly and professional where as the W. Cheyenne CVS is a nightmare. This is now my go to Pharmacy. read more

Called the CVS 24 Hour Pharmacy on 8320 W Cheyenne at 11:00 pm tonite 9/19/21 for some questions regarding the drugs I take for blood pressure and anxiety. My question was, does Tylenol 325 mg for my headache will interact with the bp and anxiety meds. The pharmacist whose name is Eric was a bit impatient to take my call. By the way, he let the phone ring for 15 minutes before he picked up. At any rate while he was talking the call got disconnected. So I dialed again and same Eric answered the phone after 20 minutes of ringing! He started to talk as I was repeating what he said. I think he got furious and impatient then hung up on me! I am a 73 year old customer of CVS for years (2 decades) who is just trying to get an answer so I don't overdose with a cocktail of meds! If this pharmacist can't handle calls from customers who need vital answers, he should look for another job. I think the manager of this branch should be aware of the type of staff who covers the midnight shift. He was unprofessional, uncaring, rude and down right disgusting! If anyone calls this 24 hr CVS pharmacy and Eric picks up, ask for someone else. You are not going to get the service you deserve! read more

I was able to receive my pain medications before I was out of them, which had not been the case previously with other pharmacists.
