I totally get the frustration some people have with this CVS--but to be fair, I've actually had pretty good luck here! I mainly use their drive-thru for Pop's prescriptions (he's 89 and still running the show, mind you), and honestly, it's super convenient. It also saves me from wandering the aisles buying random "necessities" I definitely don't need but somehow convince myself I do (looking at you, cool gadgets and seasonal snacks). Even during the few times I've had to go inside--with the famously long pharmacy line--the staff really does their best to move things along and help everyone. They've also been great about responding when Pop's calls about his meds, which is a huge plus in my book. The store itself is a little cluttered, but I rarely go in unless I have to. This review is for the pharmacy. Even though there are always a lot of people in the store and sometimes a lot of cars in the drive-through, the pharmacists themselves are really nice and helpful. I don't hesitate to get vaxs there. And when it's your turn they turn around your order quickly. This review is long overdue! Back in 2016, I gave birth to my first child via cesarean. After being discharged from the hospital, my very first stop was CVS to pick up my medications. I slowly made my way to the pharmacy when an employee/manager noticed I was struggling and asked what was wrong. I explained that I had just had a C-section a few days earlier and was there for my prescriptions. Without hesitation, he rushed to get me a bottle of water and made sure I was okay. I was so exhausted that I didn't catch his name, but I truly hope he is well and somehow sees this. His compassion and empathy meant more to me than he'll ever know, and I still think about that moment all these years later. Thank you, kind and compassionate stranger. read more

Well, I never thought I'd be reviewing a CVS but it's time to use my Karen skills for good instead of evil. We got some instant cameras developed from my daughter's wedding and one of them went missing for awhile. The manager (Anna I think she said) went above and beyond and helped find them. Terrible customer service. They get pricing wrong, don't return phone calls and inexplicably close for lunch every day. It's not a mom and pop, it's a huge company. I had surgery yesterday and the doctor ordered a narcotic. He had to call twice because they said they did t have the right code. My wife went to get it this morning but they didn't give it to her, no explanation. Finally got them on the phone. Still trouble with "codes"but the pharmacist told me it was an internal CVS issue. New policy or new software. Still don't have the meds. They are calling my doc again Don't t go here. Service is bad everywhere, but this is beyond. read more

I'm very pleased with this pharmacy. I transferred all my scripts here after my previous mom n pop pharmacy started messing up big time. These guys seem pretty on the ball to me. Nothing delayed, quick & courteous, I have never had a problem with the pharmacy. Because all the problems come from somewhere else! People have to remember how messed up insurance coverage is and how difficult insurance companies are to deal with. Ever had to deal with them? Pharmacies/pharmacists do that every single day! And you want a narcotic? Most pharmacies don't even stock those anymore because the US DEA has such onerous requirements around those. As long as you yourself are on the ball with your meds, these guys are too. And you gotta know how the system works. As far as the rest of the store, never had a problem there either. It's a typical CVS, and from what I can see, the staff are doing the best they can with the resources they've been given. And they're doing it better than you think. read more

I don't know how to spell her name, but I just dealt with Alene (Allene? Aleen?) over the phone and she was EFFICIENT, HELPFUL, AND PLEASANT. PLEASE KEEP HER AND PAY HER WELL. I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for years, and I have never had such a rude technician as Anna before. I understand that most people are in a hurry, but her conduct is atrocious. She wasn't listening to anything that I was saying regarding my prescription. She then hung up on me. She definitely needs some retraining with communication and to be placed in a stock room where she doesn't have contact with patrons. I called back to get her name. She answered the line. I told her that I was going to complain about her conduct, poor customer service. She blurted her name, stated thanks for the lesson, and hung up AGAIN. read more

Came in on a Friday early afternoon. Makeup aisles weren't full restocked and had spills of opened packages on the floor. There was only one, very kind, cashier. Line was distanced, hand sanitizers were provided. Shares a parking lot with a Starbucks drive thru line that can get long and tangled when trying to back out of spots. I've been a customer here for years.. This pharmacy has gone way down over the years but the last few months have been the worst. There is a male pharmacy tech that works on Saturdays ( Sat July 6, 24). He never ever listens. He likes to just run his mouth without listening to what is asked. I pay..PAY. To have my prescriptions delivered. I place and pay for meds through the app. CVS takes the money, texts that the delivery will within a window, then less than 10 minutes later I get a text saying my delivery has been cancelled. Then I have to go pick them up. I call the pharmacy to find out the issue and no one seems to know anything about it. With Mr. Pharm tech reportedly telling me I must not have been home... His assumptions are smug and untrue. He does not listen. This latest incident has me looking at Walmart for my prescription needs. This CVS needs to be shut down read more

According to the "manager" Akida dogs are not allowed in store ? " actually only dogs you can carry"-Akida. Mind you there are no signs indicating such policy. However, the new "cvs policy" bigger dogs are not allowed. The Secuirty did not indicate the following, his excuse for not allowing my dog in the store was because "the carpet was just cleaned". Worst pharmacy I've ever been to . I spoke to a pharm tech named Aaron over to phone to pick up my antibiotics and told him exactly how long I would take to arrive before they closed at 6pm. I arrived two minutes before they closed and they wouldn't release my medicine due to the "registers already being closed". Fine , whatever , my biggest issue is his rudeness and complete hostile attitude . When I asked him why he didn't tell us over the phone that they would close their registers by the time I arrived , he said "that's not my problem , if you don't like it you can go somewhere else , don't come here". I've been a resident in this neighborhood for 30 years , how dare a so called medical professional talk to a patient so rudely and aggressive and tell me to go somewhere else . Additionally he proceeded to tell us that my insurance is no longer valid because of the "new year"? What does that even mean ? I had to repeat myself half a dozen times that my insurance has not changed and he continued to argue with me until he checked again and now all of a sudden , my insurance is valid . I asked him what the issue was the first several times and with continued a continued hostile attitude he stated "it just didn't work !", no explanation given . Later his female coworker stated again with the new year "things change" and they have to "Bill a certain way" do make it go through . What kind of insurance fraud are they committing here? read more

It's such a bummer these pharmacists are so bad. This place could be so convenient with the drive-thru and convenient location. Not only do they NEVER offer consultation (and I mean never. I've been coming here for years), they often put prescriptions back if you don't pick up immediately and don't tell you if something needs to be refrigerated or there are special instructions. Once I waited a half an hour in the drive-thru line for 2 prescriptions and when I got home realized they had only given me 1. I went back and asked about it and the pharmacist insisted there was only 1, but then after looking said "oh. there are two accounts for your daughter." and then acted like she was doing me a huge favor by consolidating the 2 accounts someone at CVS created for a baby with one birthday and one name. LOL. This place is a JOKE. I wish I had gone elsewhere sooner. read more

I placed a "same-day" photo order on September 28th. I ordered the photo from this place, because I needed the photo by September 30th. However, this place did not print my photo until October 19th. THAT IS 21 DAYS LATE. The employee that I spoke to said that it was because their machine was down, but they did not email/call/or text me to note the delay. By the time my photo was ready, I had already had my picture printed somewhere else because I needed it by a deadline. There was no apology or discount for my "same-day" photo that I picked up. On top of that, when I opened the envelope when I got back to my place, I discovered that they gave me some random couples photo. Come on. Beware of a young female pharmacist whose ineptness and malice can cause you danger. She witheld a prescribed drug from the hospital for Congestive Heart Failure. She is malicious. She did not dispense the Viagra (sildenafil) that was indicated for the CHF of my mother-in-law . Questioned , she came up with excuses that revealed how inept she as i am a Pharmacist. In the end she even charged us 25$ for the drug that was covered for the indication. Bad actors in this place. read more

Went to the drive-thru only to be informed they kicked it back to my Dr. because my insurance didn't cover it. I don't care. I need the medication to live. The line at the drive through is just ridiculously long. I mean, if you can't find the medication, just have the customer pull off to the side while you figure it out. Like at a fast food restaurant. I sympathize if you need more help at the pharmacy - these corporations just want to squeeze the life out of every employee and it is not fair. That is why I am even writing this review - so CVS can hire more workers and improve customer service. You can't just take our hard earned money and continue to provide inadequate service. Great service, efficient, kind staff!!! I received my 2 doses of the Vaccine here and they are so efficient from check in to injection. The pharmacy techs who administered the doses were so gentle and put me at ease each time. It was so fast! I was in and out within 30 minutes including the wait time after the injection for observation time!!! read more

Pharmacy closest to my place too bad they dont have 24 hr pharmacy. This pharmacy is sharing parking with some restaurants and coffeeshop so it makes this place hard to park. Store wise its big once you enter you know where to find everything. Proper signage and we go straight to the pharmacy. Staff in the pharmacy section are very accomodating even they are super busy they make sure you been taken care of. Dont forget to sign for the cvs card whixg gives you coupon and good deals. I hope they could extend their store hours pretty soon read more

**NEW MANAGEMENT!!** AVOID!! Go the CVS north of this location next to the Sprouts!! No wonder this location has 2 stars and the other location have 4 1/2! New Management wants to talk to your Doctor regardless of having the same perscription filled at the location for almost 3 YEARS! It does NOT MATTER! They make you feel like a fraud like you made the prescription in some dark basement with a friend! My Doctor is only in his office on Wednesdays and New Management had to speak to him to see if I was legit! It will take days before they speak to him!! This store has been open for only a couple of months and already the merchandise is gathering dust. Sad. It's located in the mini-plaza, featuring a drive-thru Starbucks and L&L. And while those two keep the ppl coming, this Longs seems to have trouble finding customers. Each time I've gone in, there's never been more than a couple of ppl in line. But I'm hoping this review will encourage more ppl to get over there. The service is so good, and lately I've been noticing a decline in the quality of service EVERYWHERE. But at this Longs, all the times I've shopped there, I've gotten great service from the girls - whether it's finding a certain hair styling aid, or making sure I know my products are on sale if I use their coupon, it's all about helping me to save money which I totally appreciate. And not only do they always thank me and wish me a good night, but so does the damn security guard. How cool is that. So pls shop there - I'd hate to see this place go under. read more

Unacceptable experience at this particular CVS location. Brought in two prescriptions for my girlfriend who had been injured in a bad fall the day before. The pharmacist refused to fill them, claiming they were not valid. despite having been prescribed that day by a major Urgent Care center in Pasadena. The pharmacist was rude and dismissive about it, telling me that we would need to get them re-written by a "real doctor"...made me feel like I was doing something wrong or illegal, when in fact I was simply trying to help my girlfriend though an extremely difficult ordeal. I left...very upset...then went up the street and filled them at another CVS with no problem at all, where the pharmacist helped me herself and could not have been nicer about it. So...yes to CVS in general...but big NO to this one in particular. Avoid this pharmacist at all costs. read more
