This CVS pharmacy has been a problem for a long time. They will not accept Good RX for certain meds though they will recommend going to a different CVS. Anything even remotely looking like a pain killer gets flagged and they need to call your doctor before filling prescriptions no matter the legitimacy. Not too mention there's always a wait even when no one is in line. As for the store itself there's only 1 cashier on duty at any given time, shelves are rarely restocked within a week and it's just overall small and the selections are weak. I've switched to Walgreens and couldn't be happier even though it's further away from my home that 2 other CVS pharmacies. I have no problems or issues there whatsoever. read more

Long story short. I walked in for a 2nd Covid 19 vaccine around 3:30pm, I was wearing motorcycle gear. Anyways one Asian woman pharmacy employee asked me if I need help. I said I came for the second shot Covid 19 shot and I also wanted to say "I don't hav........." she cuts me off and moves me to the next window and then she asked me if I have an appointment and obviously At first I wanted to say no I don't, I'm a walk in. After she says "they are NOT accepting walk ins ONLY by appointment. SHE also said to check again at 8pm online for people that didn't show up to their appointments And of course I said " ok thank you" so as I walked out and checked online. And there were multiple appointments for "ONLY 2ND DOSE" MULTIPLE! AVAILABLE APPOINTMENTS SAME DAY I WALKED IN. She encouraged me NOT to take my 2nd vaccine. She Lied to me. I thought the government wanted anyone to take the vaccine... but regardless I am taking my 2nd vaccine but unfortunately somewhere else. read more

This pharmacy has gone down hill. I don't know if it's under new supervision. Monica and her goons Are extremely rude and not helpful at all. They called me a liar when i mentioned they had given me 3 emergency pills for my dad. They suggested i go to a different location because they didn't have the prescription. They are lazy, incompetent and lack customer service skills. They are so rude and lack any empathy for people in need of medication. I'm giving them a star because Erick is the only kind, competent and skilled professional working in that pharmacy. This staff has a bad reputation in the neighborhood as it is. If I could give 0 stars I would! Make sure you guys NEVER purchase gift cards at this location and if you do keep your receipt. I purchased one as a gift and sent it to another state. They tried using it and it was inactive! Went back to ask for the manager to assist he basically couldn't help me and told me to contact the card company.... no help there. Pretty sure there is fraud going on here. Had to contact corporate and get this resolved. Be careful with your transactions and keep your receipts. Lesson learned! read more

Dude! i love this place. The prices are great and the selections are plenty. I find myself spending over an hour every time looking for cheap stuff. If it is baby stuff, toiletries, drugs, milk, icecream, or even free blown up helium balloons...this place rules! They have a drive through pharmacy which is essential for a drug store. The pharmacist are so kind and helpful, the cashiers personable like a new friend. I love it how everyone seems to know me here now. I know I know, I am talking about this place like it is my neighborhood bar...but when you are a new mama and can't get your nightly vodka soda....icecream deals and friendly cashiers are it. :) read more

Until there's something else to replace CVS we're just stuck with this horribly garage ran organization that has a 20 year problem with supply chain and supply items for their pharmacy this happened years before supply chain problems with the pandemic so now it's 20 times worse overall it's just always been a super sloppy operation their pharmacy's have no communication between other CVS pharmacies if they are out of a certain drug that you may need at the time they are not centrally inventoried they have no ability to tell you when or where your prescription or pharmaceutical items are coming in if ever or if another store may have it in their pharmacy, the staff is nice doing the best they can but the operation is a back woods super loser piece of shit the store has everything lower to middle class thing you you need but really it's just a huge 7/11 pharmacy. This pharmacy is the worst!!!! Do not come here! The staff are rude, my prescriptions are never done when they say they will be, and they keep losing my insurance information. I am so appalled that I have nothing more to say except DO NOT fill your scripts here! On average I lose about two hours of my life each time I've tried to get this simple task done (I live in the neighborhood which is why I've given it more chances than it deserves but I've learned my lesson!). read more

I figured she would know, all her reply was Oh, never heard of that, really young lady, it's 5 feet away from you, maybe not behind the counter but right in front of you. Glad I don't pick up my subscription drugs from this person. Not helpful at all. Again, appreciated both the CVS cashier for getting me a manager on duty not to complain about the pharmacy but to assist me in finding the kit I was looking for. There is a redbox just outside by the way. Plenty of parking but no self checkout stations. Been here several times and the place is always clean and organized. read more

One of the worst pharmacy crews with whom I have had to deal. You wait and wait and wait to give them your prescription. You wait and wait and wait when you have to pick it up. If you come back at the time they gave you for pick-up it is almost never ready. They tell you that they are still working on it, so you wait and wait and wait again. Once I was told by a pharmacy technician that they didn't have enough pharmacists so everyone who dropped off a prescription that day would have to wait at least 24 hours! (That was a lie, confirmed by a call to their corporate office) They never have enough staff and the staff that are there are snotty, condescending, and passively aggressive. I dread having to go to this pharmacy or the CVS on Figueroa street. They are both equally exasperating. read more

Terrible. Billed the wrong insurance and when I presented them with the correct one, they didn't use that one. Tried charging me over $100 for something I pay less than $20 for. Went to the cvs at the glassell park target and they fixed it quickly. Plus, they always have what I need. This cvs is always out of my syringes and takes days to order. And after I waited those days for it to come in, they suddenly "don't have it" and asked if I wanted to wait a few days for them to order it. read more

I don't like this CVS. Maybe it's just me, but I feel it's not as well stocked as the CVS in Glendale, nor do they always have the sales/specials advertised in the papers. I normally only force myself to go in here if I'm waiting for someone at Starbucks, or waiting for food at L&L. I really really really don't like this location. The one star is for the redbox machine outside which seems better stocked than the other ones in Eagle Rock/Glendale. Not a lot of parking either when you compare this to other drug store parking lots. And all the more so when L&L and Starbucks are packed! read more

Like one other lady, I wish I could give this CVS Zero Stars. I had to switch to CVS because of my prescription insurance. Most of the pharmacists must be graduates of a matchbook school of pharmacies. Every time I go there they get the prescription wrong or short me. Last time I got home to find I was missing money. A couple of days ago I went in to fill a prescription, I asked the young lady if she could confirm if they had that specific medication in stock because I needed it right away since I had just had foot surgery. She gave my prescription to the pharmacist and I waited about 5 minutes. She returned and told me that they needed to call my doctor to get more information and that would take several more minutes. I told her that it was fine but if she could just confirm if that medication was in stock otherwise I would try a different pharmacy. She instantly copped up an attitude and told me that she wasn't going to tell me if it was in stock until they spoke to my doctor. I tried to explain to her that I didn't want to waste her time and I really needed my meds right away to which she answered: "Well I can't give you any more information, so if you don't like that just go somewhere else". She gave me my prescription and I went to Walgreens and got my prescription within 15 minutes. Up until that day I did all my pharmacy related shopping at CVS but thanks to that little girl I will never shop there again for any reason. My advice to management is hire people looking for a career not just a paycheck or you'll lose more long time customers like me. Shame on you CVS, that is no way to treat anyone. read more

I LOVE CVS, but this one in particular is HORRIBLE. The manager is not professional at all. And they have their security person pass by 10+ times. I was accused of stealing something from their store after the alarm went off, I knew exactly what made the alarm go off (a foundation i had just purchased from another CVS, that still had the stupid silver sticker) and I had a receipt for that, and the address of were I purchased was in the bottle (40 miles away from that CVS!) The manager came out accusing me right away yet when I empty out my purse they couldn't find anything other that my open used makeup I used that day. They even open every single thing to check and ruined 2 of my lipstick's didn't put the lipstick down but they closed the cap ugh!) WORST experience ever, made me feel dirty and harassed. I bought a shampoo ( pureology nano) I was so happy I found it . When I was taking a shower I opened and noticed a label on back of the bottle "costumer returned) the shampoo was nothing but diluted shampoo . Who ever bought it emptied the bottle and filled it with water and a bit of soap . I called the GM and did not want to hear what I had to say . Hands down, one of the WORST pharmacies I've ever been to. My dad had to refill some of his prescriptions and unfortunately he speaks very limited English, so I had called in ahead to make sure all his medications were ready for pick up. I told them he didn't need a refill on two of his meds, but only need 6 of his regular meds (listed all 6, multiple times!). She said it was noted and the 6 were ready for him to pick up. My dad goes to the pharmacy the next day and comes back with 9 prescriptions. WTF. First of all.. ok she still kept the 2 we didn't want, whatever. Where the heck did that 9th prescription come from?!!?!?!!! This was a prescription he took a few months back and didn't need anymore and she even said on the phone that there were no more refills on it. NICE GOING CVS ON YORK. He's been coming here for years because it's convenient, but let me tell you, they've never gotten it right. Not once. It's usually taken us 2 or 3 trips to collect all his prescriptions even though they always say it's all ready. Get your act together! This is important stuff. P.S. This is one of the rare times I've actually gone to this store without discovering that it's closed. The store hours SUCK. I wish it was 24 hours especially because we live so close to it. Also, both times I've gone I got the same cashier girl who obviously hates her job.
