Truly I don't understand why the people here are so unhelpful. Its truly an embarrassment.

Another bad experience at CVS. I only come here after hours when my neighborhood pharmacy is closed or they don't have something in stock. Today I waited over 20 minutes for a prescription that was called in first thing this morning giving the pharmacy at least four hours to prepare it. I've lived in the area for over 3 years. It's my go-to drug store for, everything. I normally love this cvs, but lately I've been really disappointed with their lack of stock as well as the pharmacy. The manager is terribly rude but the upside is that his employees are very helpful and kind. The pharmacy however has been my biggest issue. I've been misinformed on multiple occasions - many which Ive had to come back to the pharmacy 3,4 times within that day to find out the same end result that my prescription isn't ready. They even sent out my prescriptions to another location (which was completely out of my way and a total inconvenience!!) without my consent when they were unable to fulfill only one out of the two scripts I dropped off. I swear, you'd think they could pick up the phone and let you know what's going on once in a while rather than that automated voice message system. read more

This Pharmacy and store are simply awful - if you have any other option suggest you use it. I waited while 5 pharmacy staff did other things (not interfacing with any other customer) and then was told by the guy who finally came over to see what I needed that I would need to wait for a staff member at another window (who was by this time helping other people who came in well after me) for the particular product I wished to purchase, he could have easily pitched in an assisted me but chose not to. This whole store seems to not give a damn about the customer - really suggest going elsewhere unless you have absolutely no other choice. I hate to give my consumer dollars to venues that are so unappreciative of a consumers purchase. read more

Call in prescription at 3 pm, not ready by 7:30 p.m. . Worst pharmacy. Work service. Nobody seems to care. Just wait another 15 minutes they said. Then checkout 20 oz coke, $2.50 but the large size pepsi is 0.99 . outrageous. read more

Ok... I realize this is an affluent area and so I'm thinking most of the people here giving bad reviews are a little privileged. The store itself is large and clean. Most things are in stock and everything is usually faced. The cashiers do their job - checking you out. I don't know what people expect from them. The pharmacy is busy, but that's to be expected from a generally busy place (meaning: a lot of people come here and love it). There are almost never homeless people and most of the pharmacists are cool and try to do things for you that you should usually do yourself (like figure out which doctor prescribed what and giving you options for expensive prescriptions). Anyway, don't listen to those nay-sayers. My boyfriend and I go here weekly, if not daily, and I love them because they're close and convenient. You might see me there! Let's all appreciate the good things rather than flagging a busy retail store for being a normal busy retailer. read more

I gave them another chance but wasted over an hour waiting for a prescription that I was told by the pharmacist I spoke to there early in the morning would be ready when I got there. They were so overwhelmed and overworked. I honestly feel bad for the people who work there so have mixed feeling abut posting this review. One of the main pharmacy techs (a beautiful latina female) was edgy, irritable, and frankly rude- Im sure she's just stressed but hoping they give her a day off to recoup. I'm a realistic person and I know pharmacies get backed up. However today I was sick and you told me 10-15 minutes. An hour later I am still sitting here feeling like death and without my prescription. It's simple people under promise and over deliver! If my prescription is not for sure going to be done in 20mins max don't tell me 10-15 minutes. I could have left and came back if you would have told me an hour or 2. This is the absolute worst pharmacy! It's like a circus. Worst customer service ever. Serge S is so rude to customers and co workers. Jimmy is no better. I don't know why or how cvs can allow someone like them to represent the co. I have waited months/ weeks for prescription to be filled/ ordered. They said they are ordered and when I come to pick up they don't have any record of it etc. this has happened so many times. Had knee surgery they told me it would take 6 days for them to get the pain meds maybe sooner. Go to pick up a week later no record of it. I was so upset. I have and will be pulling all my prescriptions from here! All my friends told me years ago to do it. They have all left cvs because of this same thing. They are rude assholes who make you feel like you done something wrong. Serge S and jimmy should have some type of reprimand for lack of service and care. It's a shame. I dropped off two prescriptions here and they LOST one of the prescriptions! I have no idea what sort of negligence it takes for a pharmacy to lose a physical prescription and fail to offer any remedy. And the line is always so long. I've never even heard of a pharmacy just losing a prescription that was dropped off without any trace. If I could give 0 stars I would. And warn that apparently you cannot trust these pharmacists to keep track of your prescriptions. read more

This is the most poorly run establishment I have ever been to. I waited an hour and a half for my prescription. The first person who was helping me walked out after I'd waited for 45 minutes and told me to "find someone else to help". It took the rest of the disorganized mess of a team another 45 minutes to figure out what this guy had done and get me my prescription. Terrible customer service, terrible management. Don't get your passport photos here! Apparently cashiers have not been properly trained in taking/processing passport photos and the specifications needed for acceptance by the U.S. State Dept. Not only were the photos horrible due to lighting, the passport office kicked it back as my ears were covered and I had a necklace on. I had to pay extra $ and get a professional passport service to accomplish it. read more

This place has changed! The store sells more booze than OTC and other things you'd expect to find at a drugstore. Obviously CVS is on a mission to be their own brand and replace the rest. Expect a long line and wait in the pharmacy line. I've stopped going to CVS years ago, but out of convenience set foot in the store and of course didn't find what I needed. read more

Up until a month ago CVS looked more like a 99¢ store instead of a proper drugstore. AND if you called corporate to share your displeasure, they just transferred you back to the store manager! For those around when CVS was Long's, you know what a disappointment CVS has been. Empty shelves, ugly, dirty carpet and refusing to afford customer choice by jamming inferior in-house brands down your throat. Literally I would go in to pick up a prescription and leave utterly irritated that I couldn't even pick up a few things for my house because the shelves were completely bare. Maybe their stock took a nose dive and if so I can only say they deserved it! Worst business model ever, period! But wait, what's this? CVS FINALLY got it together? Yes, and it only took 9 years!! No longer am I wandering the aisles, cursing under my breath at what a dump the store is and calculating how many other stops I have to make to pick up what I need. 4 stars? I'm actually going to stop shopping here based on the 2-3 foot long paper receipt they give me every time, even when I buy only 1 or 2 items (full of coupons I will never use) such a colossal waste of paper. read more

They have GOT to do something to rectify the line situations! I mean every time I've been I've had to alternate between all 3 lines with 30 min waits in EACH- no exaggeration. I wont blame it on the pharmacist because they all seem to be working their butts off with no idle time or complaints but how does management not see the issue and fix it?! I don't know why people are hating on this store so harshly. I come here all the time and I never leave upset. The staff is friendly and they have good prices on booze and holiday candy. I even bring my dog in and they're cool with it. There's always open parking too. The lines are usually long. It might be a good idea to add some of those self check outs. I haven't had any problems with the pharmacy either although I've never gone for anything other than just picking up my prescription. I like that they send text reminders when my prescription is refilled. read more

CVS is a horrible drug store chain. The customer service is very substandard to what it was when it was Long's. Problem is that CVS is buying up many drug store chains and their focus is clearly profit and not at all about customers. The business model is completely and utterly money driven. The stupid two foot long receipts that spit out whenever one makes a purchase with offers that expire within days are a perfect example, as I are the constant annoying messages reminding of upcoming or waiting refills, not to speak of most every item in the store being wildly overpriced. I hope that a competitor with a heart and good customer service comes along and puts them out of business. That will get their attention. How can a company get a one star rating and not care to make changes. read more

Now I know why this CVS has bad reviews. ESP in regards to the pharmacy. They are very unorganized and rude. Esp Carmen the pharmacy tech. I was in line and she was chatting it up with a lady in front of me, and she was being nice. Then when it as my turn she was rude and asked me for the last name and as I start to tell her she yells something to one of her co workers. Bad attitude. I don't know how people like that survive in jobs where customer service should be a top priority. First she said she didn't see any rx's for me, then she dug in the pile of prior authorizations and found it. Now I'm stuck waiting here when it should have been ready for pick up. read more

A friend of mine has lived in Brentwood all her life, and she is the one who introduced me to this store about 10 years ago. Frankly, I have never enjoyed going to a drugstore so much. I don't know who the buyers for the store are, but they do a tremendous job. Whenever I go into their beauty/make-up section, I never know what I will find. Not only do they offer the the usual drug store choices, but there are always other choices, by smaller companies, offering things I don't see anywhere else. (and which are usually very reasonable) I would rather putter through the little treasures here than browse through Beverly Hills. For such a small space, I think their selection is great. Whether it's a candy I haven't seen since I was a kid, or a pretty little bracelet, I always seem to leave with a little smile on my face. The brand and flavor of juice I can't seem to find anywhere else, I can find here. They also have a nice selection of cards. Not by many companies, but usually better than standard choices. I admit I have not had much interaction with their pharmacy. My friend does, however. If they weren't capable, she wouldn't keep going back. read more

By far the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had the displeasure of enduring. I have the CVS app on my phone and always place my orders a good FIVE hours before picking up, but without fail, after standing in the godforsaken line for over 30 minutes, I get up to the counter and the less than enthused DMV employee masked as a pharmacy assistant says "they're still working on it." Still working on it? I placed my order FIVE hours ago. It's not a rare RX either. It's a common antidepressant for heavens sake which I'll likely need more of after doing business here. read more

I'll give them - stars if possible. This review is for the pharmacy only, not the store. Very incompetent people/bad management. Everytime I call to refill a prescription, the medication is never ready. Always long line for picking up medication and guess what slows down the queue? There is always a person complaining on the pick up section saying that their medication is not ready .. GREAT! read more

How can a drug store really go wrong? Let me count the ways.... I have used (err, tried to use) this pharmacy about once a year for the last 6 years with varying degrees of frustration. My fault for going back. Do not use the Pharmacy at CVS. Never, you hear me, Never. Not even if you bleeding from your gums, sneezing, going into diabetic shock, suffering from explosive diarrhea and constipation all at the same time. The (lack of) service is horrible. And good luck if there is ever an "issue" with your prescription which requires a call to a doctor or insurance company. You may die before you get the prescription filled. There are a series of bars on San Vicente you should go instead and drink to your health. You'll get better results. read more

Incredibly disorganized with both pharmacists and technicians running around frantically, despite there only being 2 customers in line. No one seems to have a clue. Stood in one line, then was asked to stand in the other line, then back in the first line, then back in the second line. Failed to bill my insurance and asked me to fill out the same paperwork twice. All for a simple flu shot. read more

Management team member Terry was quite unprofessional during a recent visit. She was seen reprimanding a coworker in front of several other customers in a loud and embarrassing manner. When we arrived at the register she proceeded to give me a difficult time with a simple transaction. It went on to take another 20 minutes for a transaction I've done countless times.to be handed off to another manager who actually knew what she was doing. She was rude, dismissive and unprofessional. Boggles my mind how this person is holding a management position at CVS. It was laughable and embarrassing to see her attempt to ring up other customers with such a distasteful persona and attitude. read more

Wish I could give it a zero star. The workers here have an attitude. The guy especially in the photo section was unhelpful, rude and had poor communication. I have been to many CVS pharmacies is TX and they were all great, but this one leaves a lot to be desired. The lines are normally long and move slowly. When it is finally your turn you are never greated with a smile, they always looked pained from being overworked. It is so close to my house that I hate not liking them. Oh well... read more

The pharmacist here is terribly rude, refusing to fill prescriptions without even calling the doctor to confirm their validity. If you are in the area, go to the CVS on Wilshire. It has free parking too, and the staff there are the sweetest and most accommodating. read more
