We use this store to pick up OTC items, cards for special occasions and we even learned that CVS will fill Kaiser prescriptions at the same price we pay at a Kaiser pharmacy when Kaiser pharmacies are closed. Items are easy to find as long as you can read because each aisle is marked with items you will find. We get coupons constantly which saves us quite a lot of money. Rude employees. Not helpful at all. I had 3 prescriptions for eye meds that I needed for surgery, and they said they didn't receive it. However, I had a recorded voice message from them saying they were ready. I asked why CVS would send the message that they were ready, and the reply was "I don't know". I contacted the doctor's office again and confirmed sending the prescription but resent it to them while I was on the phone. CVS called again and left a voice message that it was ready. I called them again today and she cut me off abruptly saying, "We don't have them". I remember when their staff was good years ago. They would have offered to call the doctor's office and find out. I've literally never come here and have something be correct. Between the confusion and the mistakes, you end up having to wait 30 minutes for them to fill something that was promised to have been ready, or come back to pick up the correct thing that should have been done in the first place. No I am not going to wait 30 minutes for you to count 30 pills because you first produced a prescription with the incorrect milligram. I've been using this pharmacy for years now but it seems like over the last year their customer service is lacking. Recently I went in to pick up a prescription and it was 300 dollars more than usual and when I inquired as to why they told me they were under new management. When I told them I would go elsewhere all of the sudden they decided to honor the original price. Today I called inquiring about my prescription and when I asked to many questions they hung up on me. Normally I have very positive experiences at this location with helpful and friendly staff but recently an older gentleman started working the cash register and he is apparently selectively friendly. In my experiences he doesn't greet me or even tell me my total which is not a big deal but not my usual experience here. I normally enjoy small talk with the staff here they are normally top tier in customer service. Today I was making a purchase at self checkout and the register paused because it needed a staff to check my id to ring up some cold medicine. This man was behind the counter and had seen me right there at self checkout so I assumed he would come and assist me ,,, wrong. He came around the register and paused to have a conversation with some men refilling the lottery scratchers, again I assumed he was on his way to assist me because he had seen me there already at self checkout,,,wrong. Then a group of men walked in wanting to cash in their lottery scratchers and he quickly attended them at the register (walking past me and the flashing ringing register repeating that assistance was on the way ). I guess I could have told him I needed assistance but isn't that what the flashing light and bell sound are for? I ended up leaving because the line grew as he helped the men with the scratchers and I didn't want to hold up anybody else or wait any longer if he chose to attend the people in line first,, just an annoying experience. read more

I've been on the phone now for 30 minutes waiting to talk to a pharmacist. CVS wants you to transact everything with the auto-attendant or use the application, and I get that, but that is not always possible. The pharmacy application is not very intuitive, is designed poorly and needs an overhaul. The application is often not synchronized with information that you get through the auto-attendant. Its very time consuming attempting to manage your prescriptions effectively. I did better with mail order than a pharmacy that is right down the street. read more

So this is my go to pharmacy and you never know who is going to help you. Some days they are nice and other days... well ...not kind. Usually if you are going to the pharmacy it's possible you are in pain. So it is a big deal when you are not treated with kindness. Today am so happy to have met the pharmacis. I came in here yesterday for some iron tablets. I have been advised by my doctor that I need to take them and I was out. With the current corona outbreak I'm only going out if I have to. When I went in I grabbed my iron tablets and grabbed a couple of other non essential items on the way to the checkout. I was in the store for just a couple of minutes. At the checkout the young man that helped me was super rude and said "just grabbing the essentials then? " he then proceeded to loudly announce what I was buying. Dude, no one is forcing you to work right now. You're lucky you even have a job. If you had no customers at all you'd be out of a job. Think about that next time you judge someone. I have a pretty specific list of products that make me go about my days with a happy strut and they usually tend to sell out in LA, but not in Temecula. Not only was I able to find 5 of my Maybelline lipsticks in the color that is sold out EVERYWHERE, but I was also able to find a few bottles of the most hard to find over the counter lotion, an eye pencil you can never find and even found a holiday gift pack of cheese and sausage with something called a Cheese Chub! :D Yes, this CVS kicks ass and they didn't even look at us funny when we rolled up to the counter buying 10 of each thing like it was going out of style! read more

Giving this CVS location 5 stars because of the excellent customer service provided by Rosalie. I didn't really check out the store in its entirety, since I knew exactly what I was shopping for. The front part of the store was clean and neat in general with items well stocked. Also, parking on the CVS side was not too difficult to find. I had come to this CVS (Store #9817) after driving from another CVS (Store #9920), in search of the giant peeps bunny plush. I approached Rosalie for assistance, and she helped me immediately. Since the one and only plush in stock was not the color I had preferred, she went the extra mile and called up 3 other CVS stores that had the plush in stock to see what colors they had available. I ended up purchasing the plush from this CVS because the color was better than the ones available at the other stores. Instead of having me line up again, Rosalie kindly rang up my purchase at a "closed" register lane. Not only that, she even ran to the back to get a big trash bag to wrap up the plush, since the plush was too big to fit in the biggest CVS bag available at the register. She even came back to the register with two types of trash bags -- a clear one and an opaque, green colored one (if I wanted to keep it "hidden" for a gift). It is people like Rosalie who makes the shopping experience at CVS enjoyable! read more

The female pharmacist in this cvs was the one who refused to give me a second shot today and got visually frustrated with me because, I'm sorry the picture of my card was not good enough. This review is strictly about the pharmacy. The store is a 5 star on service. But I don't know what happened in the pharmacy in the last months, the service is awful now. I have had issues getting the fills or even a phone call telling me an issue with the fill. Now I am waiting for an antibiotic from a cancer removal procedure yesterday and still no call for the fill. This will be the last time I try to get a prescription filled with them. read more

Convenient but that's about it. Please verify your prescription and stay on top of them. We've had several issues with them faxing refill requests to wrong office, not following up with doctors offices when there's an issue with a prescription/they just sit on it. I've found I have to manage them to get things filled, filled correctly and billed appropriately to my insurance so I'm not over charged. read more

Check your RX. Came home with prescription cough medicine containing codeine which I'm allergic to. Brought it back. When asked why they wouldn't have caught it (since it's in my records,) pharmacist said (pointing to the script), "yeah, it's right here." No apology. No embarrassment. Not enough of the right meds on hand to fill my RX, unhappy and too-busy-to-care tech tells me to take less or fill it elsewhere. Thankfully, other tech -- Cheyenne - steps in to GRACIOUSLY call other CVS stores to help me. Even takes the time to write down other CVS address. Thank you Cheyenne, for caring about a sick, frustrated and exhausted customer. Store 13 miles away had it AND their customer service throughout the pharmacy and store was more than exceptional. I just want to start by saying The front of Cvs is amazing, super friendly ladies that are very helpful and sweet. The actual pharmacy is horrible though, the lady running it is very judgmental and seems like she treats those with a medical differently, just because we don't have the best insurance doesn't mean we should be treated differently or lose privileges such as her deciding were not worthy of the prescription we were prescribed by doctors. I had a prescription from the dermatologist and she would only give me 1 out of the 3, and never special ordered the others for me. Another time I needed a topical medicine and it took me 3 times for them to give it to me, very bizarre and condescending behavior. Very dissappointed, I have never been treated like that at any other pharmacy and had only returned because it's only a few blocks from my house. Definitely better off driving a little farther out to get your correct prescription. read more

The absolute worse pharmacy on the planet. The pharmacist tried to change my prescription without notice, TWICE and just about every time I've been there it's a fight or hassle. The last time was partially my fault for not checking until a few days after I got home. My prescription was for 120 pills, she gave me 30 pills and refused to fix it. Indicating once I left with it, too bad, so sad. It took me 30 days to get an appointment with my doctor and $135 so I was forced to go 3 weeks without medication. I somewhat expect crap like that from fast food but not from a pharmacy whose actions can put one directly into harms way. Today the pharmacist took it upon herself to call my doctor to change my prescription from one drug to another WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR KNOWLEDGE. Long story short, when my doctor refused because the other medication was damaging my liver, this idiot pharmacist said she had my doctor cancel my prescription because my insurance would not cover it without prior authorization. Then she refused to give my prescription back claiming it was illegal to return. I called my insurance company and they said that's a lie. I was welcome to pay cash. So in essence she stole my prescription that I just paid $135 for. This put me in the position to drive back to my doctor's, sit in the waiting room for a new prescription to take to a decent pharmacy. I would NOT suggest having prescriptions filled here unless you are willing to have a know-it-all, Nazi pharmacist cheat you, hassle you and / or second guess and try to overrule your doctor. I suggest Costco. You do not need to be a member to use the pharmacy and they are waaaay cheaper and hassle-free! read more
