I do not recommend this pharmacy location. They have made numerous errors and they never apologize or even try to do anything to correct it. Perhaps they should implement training with their employees, to acknowledge when an error occurs and say that they're sorry for the inconvenience. If it happened once, I can understand. About two months ago we took my 90-year old mother into the Minute Clinic here at the CVS on Temecula Pkwy to have mom's ears cleaned out so that her hearing aid would work more efficiently We had done this very same thing a year earlier at this very Minute Clinic and were extremely happy with the service. My sister used her own debit card to pay my mom's $10.00 insurance co-pay and we gave the clinic all mom's info. The people there that we dealt with were very kind. However, after mom ears were literally peeked into for one second by a nurse, she realized mom was a diabetic (which we had just disclosed earlier and even gave them the name of the medication mom takes for this). She told us there is new rule that diabetics can no longer have their eared cleaned at the Minute Clinics because there is a chance that the patient could get an infection. We told them we understood this new rule, but asked them why they hadn't mentioned this to us beforehand so that we could have gone somewhere else!! They said that it was an oversight and they were sorry. Well, a couple weeks later a bill arrived at my mom's house from the CVS Minute Clinic, billing her insurance provider for approximately $85.00. Her insurance had denied the payment, probably because the CVS Minute Clinic never cleaned her ears out at all, and just had looked in them for a second, before realizing that she was a diabetic! We were shocked that the clinic would even bill mom's insurance company, knowing full well it was their mistake, and additionally they provided no service to her the day we visited them. We made a mental note not to ever go back to that clinic again! Yes, unfortunately, it gets worse!!! About two weeks after this, since mom's insurance providers denied paying the charges to have mom's ear peeked into for one second, the CVS Minute Clinic actually billed my sister's debit card, without her permission or knowledge, for the $85.00 charge!!!!!!!!!!! Evidently they had the card number on file because my sister had kindly paid the $10.00 insurance co-pay for mom. This is absolutely unethical and probably not legal, and I'm not an attorney, but it sounds like fraud to me!!! To make a long story short, after numerous calls, and being put on hold for what seemed like hours on end, to the Administrative CVS Minute Clinic People that are in charge of all the Minute Clinics, we explained the entire situation to them. We were told a manager would call us; a couple weeks later we still had not heard from a manager, so we called twice more, and about a week after that we received a call from a CVS Minute Clinic manager. She basically told my sister that they were not able, for some unexplained reason, to reverse the charges made to my sister. However, they offered to send her a $50.00 gift certificate to CVS. She told them she was never going to shop at CVS again!! They then told her they were going to send her a $20.00 check, which we still haven't seen!!!! We are a family who has a policy of writing good reviews only, but, in this case, we think this is blatantly wrong and no way to run a business, and we just want to warn other CVS Minute Clinic customers to NOT USE YOUR DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS, BUT, INSTEAD, PAY WITH CASH, so that they don't do the same thing to you! read more

I went to the pharmacy today, 10/15/2020, at around 12:30, went to the drop off area for my Dad's prescription and spoke to JEREMY and requested if he can send the prescription to their branch in Alamada, Ca. He was not happy when he heard of my request. I explained to him that the last time I went there, there was a nice staff who accommodated the same request ( I think her name is Jennifer). I explained to JEREMY regarding the insurance coverage, and it is expensive to pay here in Temecula, compared to paying in Alameda. In other words, the network doesn't cover prescriptions in Temecula. My Dad lives in Alameda, Ca, and only visiting us here in Temecula, got sick and had a procedure which requires immediate medication called Eliquis. I know how busy it is in CVS but he should take time to accommodate each patient/customer. I gave JEREMY the address and phone number of CVS located in the Target store in Alameda but never got the chance to take a look of it. He just went to the fax machine and faxed the prescription somewhere. My Dad needs the prescription very badly and my sister who lives in Alameda will ship the meds in Temecula. I called CVS in Alameda, the one in Target store, and spoke to Marian and told me she did not receive the fax. She told me she will call CVS Temecula and will check the prescription. The management of CVS Temecula in the Butterfield Stage branch should remind staff like JEREMY, to be customer oriented, accommodate people with no discrimination. read more

Worst customer service ever, and to top it off they shortened my son's medicine twice (two different medications) I am a nurse and know how to give the correct dose. Pharmacist said to bring in the bottle so he could put the additional (missing days) into the same bottle which I did, but then they refilled the prescription on top of giving me the two missing days and charged the insurance for a medication I don't need....... The other prescription was missing 3 days worth of medication, now I'm waiting for doctor approval for their mistake I did not spill the medication and my son had surgery so this is added stress a mother doesn't need! Since this is the closest pharmacy from our house, this store is our primary pharmacy for medications that we cannot get from the Navy Pharmacy or refills that we need in a hurry. It's also a good place to get those items that you need now and don't want to go further down the road. We have never had any problems with the pharmacy or their technicians. If you review the weekly ads to see what's on sale you can probably find a good deal- otherwise, their prices are a tad high compared with other stores. The key here is convenience. Overall, customer service is on par and the store is always clean and well organized. read more

Hate this CVS. Terrible memories and terrible service. I stopped here to buy a birthday card for a family member and for a little over a minute my purse was left in the bathroom(I forgot it, stupid me) I ran back and to my disbelief my purse was thrown in a cabinet empty and everything including my camera, wallet, ipod, iphone ect was dumped out & stolen. I was so upset I went to the employees and they had no advice and no intention of helping me. If I had known better I would've called the police because now I'm pretty sure it was employee. Worst Pharmacy. Unhelpful staff, long wait time. Had to repeat my information to 3 before I received my prescription. Had 2 workers just walk away from me and tell me and assuming they were actually working my prescription. After several minutes I asked and they told me they were not working my prescription. What? Another woman that came in while I was waiting said she was waiting in her car for an hour and no one came to the window. Terrible! read more

Literally the worst. I stopped using them for so many reasons I don't even know where to start... but my pharmacy was out of medication so I gave them another try.. the pharmacists was so confused... they took my written prescription and told me it would be an hour and waited 30 minutes to call me to tell me they didn't even have it. They always take care of the BS from the insurance company unlike the other place, and I don't have to deal with the headache. Don't use this pharmacy. They tell you your meds will be available when they know the product is not available just to get the business. I had knee replacement surgery which is very painful. The pharmacist said it would be available the day after my surgery. On my way home I stopped for my meds. They had my aspirin but wouldn't have the pain Med for two days. By law they can't transfer the Med to another store. So I have go without pain meds unless I want to drive an hour back to the VA hospital to get another prescription written out. They really left me a disabled vet in a situation. All to make a buck knowing they didn't have it in stock. Said group of jerks. Remind me to keep their tube container. This pharmacy sucks. I called to check on status of Rx. I was told 15 minutes. When i walked in i was told 20 more minutes. When i went back the Rx was incomplete. I called my son's dr and the pharmacist told me that it would be another 25 minutes... Needless to say, i will never go back. I don't usually write negative reviews , but I am not pleased with the service at this pharmacy. Yesterday I got a text that my prescription was ready, so last night I came to pick it up. Pharmacist Ahmed assisted me. When I got the prescription, it was not my usually one I get and I asked him to check my profile and give me the same brand I've been on. He told me that the one that he just gave is a generic brand and is the same thing. I informed him that I have tried generic ones before and have bad side effects to them, therefore I only want the usual one I've been on for many years. He then informed me that he'll have to order what I want and he doesn't have any in stock until Monday. So I said ok and left. Well, early this morning I received a text stating that my medication is ready for pick up. When I came back to get my meds, I asked the technician if they've had my meds in stock and he said yes they've had it. So, basically Ahmed was lazy to change out my prescription last night and lied about having the meds in stock! Water my time to drive back their again to pick up medication which he could've given to me when I was there late last night. The pharmacy was not busy and for him to be that lazy was not called for. I did not appreciate being lied to just because pharmacist Ahmed was too lazy to change out my meds which were I stock. And I did call my refill in early yesterday morning, so there was more than enough time for them to fill it. read more

I swear this will be the last time I go to this CVS. The poor customer service from the front checkout and the pharmacy is not worth the convenience of the location. Today, I observed the pharmacist use her bare hands to disburse the medication. My prior experience, I have had a miss count on the number prescription pills... having to come back to the store to recount and fulfil the prescription order (well... argue with them to please recount and correct their mistake). I understand it might be a stressful job but still... I expect a little more professionalism. Finally, front desk customer service needs help. It's a shame that I (the customer) have to greet the worker and thank them for during the check out. This place is pretty horrible.... on numerous occasions they have failed to refill my prescriptions up to 5 hours after the referenced time on the automated system. I came in one time for first aid supplies (wrist brace and cold pack) because of an injury I sustained during jiu jitsu and they asked me to leave cause I was wearing a backpack. Very disappointed in The Minute Clinic at CVS. We drove to Temecula from LA. My 9 year old daughters lips had swollen four times the size within the 2 hour drive and she had developed a rash all over her body. We were terrified as any parent would be. It was 6:00 pm on a saturday night. The Doctor in the minute clinic was still there even though they had officially closed already. Two hour wait time to fill your prescription, not even new prescription but the same ones you fill every month. The pharmacy staff is the worst I've ever seen at cvs. They don't seem to care or have any urgency. The man in the lab coat don't do anything while Carolina seems to hate her job and the Asian lady Kim seems to be lost in filling the prescription. Terrible customer service! I went in to return a foundation that did not match my skin tone but I didn't have my receipt. The lady looked at my like I had stolen the product. She asked when I got it... Without my receipt I obviously don't know! Stated about a week ago. She scans the item saying they had not sold the item recently. I don't care about that I didn't but it at that store. I am not going to out of town to that specific cvs when I live right next to this one. The policy on returns states you can return your item at any cvs! I guess if you do not have your receipt they think of you as a thief. read more

personally dropped off my 18 month old daughter's prescription for her double ear infection and was told they'd text me when it was ready for pickup. I waited 2.5 hours without any contact and needed to get a dose of antibiotics in her before she went to bed, so I called to check the status. I waited on hold for over 20 minutes and no one answered the phone. I called again and someone finally picked up after 10 minutes. I was told that they couldn't find a record of the prescription and was put on hold while they looked! At this point I was already in my car driving down there and when I arrived was told that they still could not find it. Someone finally located it and said that they would rush it. I waited for 30 minutes before I finally got her meds and of course the antibiotics need to be taken with food so now I have to wake my poor sick baby and force her to eat something. Horrible experience. I arrived and logged my info into the system, understanding I might need to wait for a while due to not having an appointment. Two medical professionals were working in two rooms. One family exited the nurse's room then was waiting for a bit and called into the other room. After this, the nurse-staffed room remained empty while I waited for over 30 minutes, with no other waiting patients. The electronic queue clearly indicated a no-show, and a next appointment in 18 minutes. Juan, the nurse in the empty room, indicated he would not see me because it "could cause problems," in spite of the fact no other patient was present, and in spite of his assertion seeing me would take 15 min. I asked why the queue had shown an 80 minute wait time for the past 40 minutes. He responded that the queue was wrong. A patient arrived late, Nurse Juan took him in, then increased my time on the queue to 167 minutes, after his lunch break (as indicated by the queue). I like CVS, but not this location. I will no longer get my prescriptions filled at this location. During each of my previous visits, there would be a least 6 people in the pharmacy area, yet each time it took a long time to receive assistance. They seem to be busy doing something other than assisting or acknowledging waiting customers. During my last visit, the pharmacy cashier rushed me and seemed irritated that I had questions. She rudely responded, "Go to the Drop Off window if you have questions.". I heard her say something similar to the next customer. I went to the check out at the front of the store with some regular purchases. No one was there! I waited for about 5 minutes for the cashier to arrive and then had to wait for another 10 minutes until the cashier could locate a manager to unlock the register.
