Isn't it a law that whenever a pharmacy is open that a pharmacist needs to be on duty not off the clock? It seems like whenever I go to a cvs the pharmacist is not on duty and the one employee behind the counter can't even help with a question. To make matters worse they want you to check yourself out at the front and we have to wait even longer because the self checkout always request for a clerk so would it not be better to just have someone at the registers at all times to help keep people moving or is it to hard. read more

It is ok for various non-prescription products it carries, and prices are very good. But their prescription department seems inept. Our doctor prescribed Prevident toothpaste for my wife. It comes in 2 flavors, spearmint and fruit. My wife cannot tolerate mint, so we always specify fruit flavor. First response from the pharmacy is, "we don't stock the fruit flavor." So we ask them to order it. When we go to pick up the prescription, it is the mint flavor--"We had trouble ordering it, so we substituted the mint." It happens over and over again. The last time I took it back, they said, "We can't accept it, it has been opened." I explained that we had not opened it. They refused and said the seal was broken (if so, we received it that way). So, in the future, we will fill our prescriptions at another pharmacy; one that is both competent and courteous. read more

They used to be incredible and the drive thru always moved. If they had to do something that would take awhile they would have you pull around so they could help someone else, now you sit behind the cars forever and they never have them pull around to help you when your next. I sat behind a car for 20 minutes then the next time for 8 minutes. Not impressed. Loosing my respect. read more

For a long time, I have liked this pharmacy. I truly did. They tried their best to help and they have been on top of things consistently. That is until recently. New medications requiring prior authorization sit in limbo. Multiple doctors of mine have had the same issue with this location. My insurance even gave me an authorization number. It's issues that were given to a lady named Joyce. I have issues and I call. She is almost always the lady answering these calls. She will not let you explain anything, assumes you want things you are not asking for, creating immense inflammation in conversation. Every time I call, she alluded to my being a liar. Today? I have supposedly never spoken with her because she's "been on vacation for a long time". I guess they have 2 people that sound exactly the same with the same name. Not really sure. I have a prescription for opiate pain relief and I tried to ask why they were trying to fill a post dated prescription. She assumed I wanted it when they received it and refused to hear me say that she should not be running it early because it has a date on it. She insisted she could not fill it early and refused to hear anything I said. She's also a fan of putting me on hold without making sure I know she's putting me on one. Today she says she sent prior authorization request to my doctor who did not receive it. Not any time she claimed to send it. Not once. They are doing it because I called and asked what was going on. Before this? It was a whole different doctor in a whole different location with a whole different umbrella of corporate offices. I had to call them directly too. They sent it, so I called insurance, they sent it to this pharmacy, who did not see it and opted to tell me I was lying then too. Also, apparently the insurance authorization for medication is useless according to Joyce here. My whole intention of calling today was to (3rd request) stop automatically refilling medication when I have another at a higher dose. Filling full monthly doses for the same medication at 2 strengths should have automatically been a red flag, but it was not. I had a lovely screaming match with Joyce today because she honestly angered me so much by alluding (strongly) to my being a liar without listening or allowing me to finish a single sentence. I asked her to please just listen to everything I am saying before assuming she knew what I was saying, because every time she was wrong. She condescendingly said "oh, ok....." and when I said what I wanted again? She responded with "hello? What? Can you repeat that?" Meaning she also refused to hear what I said. Again. Then she threatened to hang up on me because I got louder. Eventually yelling over her what my phone number was because she would not stop interrupting me. All she did was escalate the issue to my seriously being overly angry because she won't listen and she won't do anything about anything I'd be surprised if she didn't do this to others with interactions with her. Looks like it's time to see about shifting all my medications to Walgreens just up the street with a drive thru option as well. I'm done not being listened to and having someone try really hard to make me more and more angry. Joyce should not be the point of contact for anything customer service related. If she had a bad day once? I would not have been so angry. It's every single interaction I have had with her is garbage, and she's also the main one answering the phone. read more

Lady in the front with long brown hair super skinny and probably in her late 40s was super super rude to me and lied to me multiple times about a coupon that I apparently only could use online went to the pharmacy and used it there never coming here again I asked for something over the counter and she acted like she had an IQ of a fly I asked for plan B btw there's only two and she didn't even know the real Prescription name of it so embarrassing I wouldn't no wanna be as gross and rude as her hahahahaha so sad for her. Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible pharmacy staff. My insurance carrier transferred us from Rite Aid in August 2017 and I absolutely HATE this pharmacy. More staff than Rite Aid and yet so slow! Lazy people who don't give a damn about their customers! They can't keep track of which medications they've already dispensed to their customers and which are still in order. Combination of needing a better system and lazy complacent employees. Try to avoid this place like the plague if you can! read more

The supervisor lied to me. At about 6:00 pm - 6:20 pm, at 20475 Yorba Linda Boulevard, Yorba Linda, CA 92886 (Eastlake), the pharmacist did not give me a receipt. She said it must have been emailed to me. No email, and I did not request it emailed. After waiting for supervisor to help the pharmacist, the supervisor couldn't print and had to wait for another person. She said "someone IS PRINTING it". After I waited again ... I went in front and found out that the person who would print it was out of lunch. The supervisor lied. Why did she have to lie? I had to wait again for the team member to come back from lunch. Then, the team member arrived and she gave me somebody else's receipt. The credit card # did not match. I told her the last 4 of my credit card # and she wants to see my card (for what???). Three employees ... there's gotta be someone capable or honest (maybe in another store, but not this store). read more

Pretty cool service. Got there at 1:30, though they were on lunch till 2, no worries, signed in and took a seat. No one else was there, but maybe it was just the time of day. Nice service for minor stuff, probably mainly cold and flu stuff, that's why I came in. The wife had tried it before and was happy as well. Beats trying to get a quick appt with your doctor. Was in and out in about 30 minutes (once they came back from lunch at 2) and that's with my script filled! read more

This CVS store is in one of the best locations I just wish it had a 24 hour Pharmacy other than that they always have good deals if you have a CVS card. I recommend getting CVS card so that you can get these deals sometimes CVS has prices that are lower than the Supermarkets , like for example 2 liters of coke and coke products will be .99 cents and vitamins buy one get one free this time it was the meal supliment drinks. read more

this review is solely for Ana in the pharmacy - WOW I was completely blown away by the customer service she provided! It was an especially busy evening at this CVS both at drive through and in store; the lines were long and customers were getting impatient - I was there to get a reimbursement from my insurance, I had been waiting a while as well but since I wasn't sick I let those needing medication go first. To be honest a few of the other employees even scoffed at me, realizing I wasn't there to pick up medication. I was getting death stares (because I didn't have COVID) until a gentleman attempted to help me but was unable to complete verification with my insurance - defeated and realizing how busy they were, and how literally no one else wanted to help, I turned around to leave. That's when Ana chimed in from behind her busy computer and said 'it's ok just wait I will call them personally we'll figure this out!' I can't tell you how much it meant to me in that very moment. While all other employees shooed me away, Ana realized I had been waiting, I was human and my time too, was indeed valuable. She quickly hopped on the phone and figured out the issue which was as simple as my husband being the primary on the account and not myself. I was able to get my $90 back and Ana did it all with a smile in a busy and very high-stress environment. Thank you again to Ana, you are a wonderful example of how all customers should be treated regardless of why they are in store - other employees take note, you don't decide the type of service you will offer a customer based on why they're in your store. A female pharmacy employee was terrible on the phone. She spoke broken English and started screaming in the phone at the top of her lungs. She said she could not hear me but she constantly screamed without stopping to listen to anyone on the line. She screamed and quickly hung up the phone before anyone could answer her. (She must be skimming off the top of the adderall). I understand people are busy at work but she was trying to avoid answering the phone. I always have an issue with with this pharmacy. Today was my last straw. I called in to refill my prescription. I get my medication every three months. Tracy the pharmacist or pharmacy tech was arguing with me telling me that I can't refill every 21 days. I simply tried to explain to her how my doctor wrote my prescription and how often I receive it. She told me no. That I was only getting one month. It's clearly in the prescription how my doctor wants me to take my medication and I get three months in a row. She was extremely rude and kept insulting me and insisting that I just don't understand. I don't appreciate being talked down on when I'm simply trying to find the root of the problem and make sure that we all understand what needs to be done. I'd advise everyone to go to any other pharmacy. Perhaps the employees need training on how not to insult and call your customers idiots. Horrible customer service every single time! read more

This is the worst pharmacy. The only reason I use it is because it has a drive thru and I have two small children so it's convenient, but I'm looking for another pharmacy. They are constantly getting prescriptions wrong or they don't have them in stock. They also do not post if their hours change or if they will be closed at any time outside their posted hours.
