A helpful, informative and friendly retail store/staff, not pushy at all and it's been that way of the 10+ times I've been here. Prices ok depending on what you buy. Lots of cool gift ideas, a little bit of everything. All price points from cost effective to top of the line and pricey. They had my tires in stock(Dunlop Q3 120/70/17) and mounted them immediately for me(I showed up at open - early bird gets the worm!) Overall, I love this store. I went in to look at helmets and when I went in, I was greeted and told they would help me in a second. I waited about 10 minutes as I saw new customers come in, get help, and leave before I got fed up and walked out. Before I left, another employee came to the counter and did some work on the computer then left and went to the back even though I was standing there waiting. I've gone to this location before and service was almost spot on. I don't know what happened this time but it really put a bad taste in my mouth about this location. One of the employees there sold my husband a Bell Race Star Flex DLX that was defective and it was the store display helmet because they didn't have any in stock. They charged the credit card BEFORE mentioning that they didn't have any new helmets in stock, only having the display helmet that was defective. So instead of giving the full refund, they placed the helmet as 'defective' on the system and went ahead and ordered the helmet online using their gift cards. Was hoping to get the helmet that same day but came home with nothing but a charged credit card. The guy working there didn't care so much for customer's care but really just wanted to sell the product so badly that wasn't even new. Definitely returned the helmet for the bad purchase experience and the manager there was disrespectful for making a personal comment that wasn't needed when asking for a refund. All and all found the same helmet at a cheaper price somewhere else, and definitely not coming back to this cycle gear anymore. read more

I've been buying all my motorcycle stuff here for a while they have a good inventory for the most part if not you can order if your looking for something special. There employees are nice and helpful for the most part but there's a guy there that thinks he knows everything you just want tell him to stop talking. These guys are amazing. I've worked in the motorcycle industry for 6 years prior to joining the Marine Corps and I have to say I didn't think too kindly of Cycle Gear at the time. The employees at the Temecula Cycle Gear definitely changed my opinion. They are friendly and VERY helpful. I went in there to purchase fluids and cleaning supplies when one of the employees noticed that I had a hole in my glove. The gloves were a year old and I had worn them practically everyday. He saw they were Sedeci gloves and told me that they have a lifetime warranty. After looking through the customer records and seeing that I had purchased them from the San Diego store, he began the process of exchanging my gloves. I was so disappointed with this business. I bought a "lifetime warranty" battery for my Honda CBR1000 a few years ago, which they offered to me as I was checking out, and paid extra for. When I went to exchange my dead battery for a new one, they stated they were no longer honoring the "lifetime warranty". WTF?? Then why did you sell me the "lifetime warranty" if you knew you weren't going to honor it? I will not be doing business with these crooks ever again!! I would advise anyone else not to either. Good Store If in a Hurry. My husband and I have been here many many times over the years and the people have always been helpful and friendly every time. Even during the Xmas rush they take the time making sure everyone has exactly the right part or accessory for their bikes. My only recommendation to Cycle Gear corporate is to carry more name brands and less of their "store brands" stuff. All and all a very good place to get whatever you need when in a hurry. read more

Even though I got a good deal on my tires I have to give 2 stars. I brought my tires into the store for replacing. Good job on them. I just blew out my front tire on my way to the freeway. Very upset, i definitely could be in the hospital right now, or worse. I pulled to the side and saw my valve stem split. I checked the back tire, and that stem was pretty cracked to. I just bought these tires in march. I don't even have 700 miles on them. Still have the whiskers on the tires. I'm very convinced they didn't bother changing my stems. Even though they confirmed I was charged for new ones when I called, they offered 1/2 price on parts and labor to have new ones installed. They even said its happened before, sometimes they're defected. BUT BOTH MY TIRE STEMS! Hell no. I can't put my trust there again. Sorry. read more

I was in the store buying tire tools and the sales guy mentioned they mounted tires for less than I was paying for tools. I brought my wheel in and they replaced the tube that had gone bad, remounted my tire and I was on my way in 20 minutes. Great service, friendly staff. Bought a pair of gloves and leather cut there, few months went by the zipper on the cut busted and the gloves had a tear. Went back and they let me return the items for new ones. Since hotwire has minimal installation instructions and hard to find online he gathered the materials to test my jacket and gloves and made sure it was working (which it didn't) and he proceeded to find a solution to my problem. I purchased this at the Murrieta store on 06/22/17 and installed them on my 2007 Harley. The brakes totally failed in 1600 miles and destroyed my rotor. I contacted the store and they said that I needed to deal directly with Galfer, Galfer said deal with the store. This product is a piece of junk, Cycle Gear does not value its customers (Ive bought thousands of dollars of gear and equipment from them). Contacted Cycle Gear customer service and still haven't had a reply. Buy from a good manufacture and good store. Take a pass on both Galfer and Cycle Gear. Date of return 07/10/17 read more

Very disappointed! Wife sent in my son for a Harley helmet for my birthday Saturday and it doesn't fit right. They did not have one I liked and when we tried to return it they tell you no returns on helmets!! Only exchanges for other helmets. He let us exchange for "other stuff" in the store but now have to shell out more $$ elsewhere for a helmet. This is one expensive gift.... I have shopped here since 2005 and will no longer do business over a 30$ helmet. Very unhappy customer!!!! read more

Customer service is outstanding at this location. The shop is not large, but they typically have the items that you want. The prices are reasonable. On one occasion, they recommended less expensive helmets than I was considering. They told me that the more expensive helmets were not worth the extra cost. They obviously were focused on customer service over total revenue. In my opinion, that type of service will lead to greater overall profit. Their exchange policy is very good.
