Came in many times, some times for fun sometimes for stuff. Today I learned how badly I got fucked up by Redwood City's cycle gear. San Jose warrantied because Redwood City installed the Cardo incorrectly. Got it correctly fitted installed properly! Would 100% Recommend! I go to every bike night if I'm available cause it's fun as heck even when not participating.

Great store. I went to buy gear for my first safety course and Jen helped me pick out everything I needed. She was very helpful and took her time to make sure I was taken care of. Since then, I have been back multiple times to buy accessories & more gear. They do free installation of Bluetooth helmet systems when you buy one or a refresh kit. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, good selection of items

Great job Cycle gear. Drove from seaside to san jose for this Animale helmet.

I came in prepared to make multiple purchases and, frankly, left confused by the entire experience. My time is limited. I run a business and manage private investments, so when I shop for vehicles, I generally know what I want, have a budget established, and am prepared to buy. I was looking for three machines: 1. A Can-Am Canyon Redrock -- budgeted around $36,000. 2. Either a 125th Anniversary Indian Chief or a black Chief Bobber -- around $24,000. 3. A Challenger Dark Horse with the PowerPlus 112, preferably blue, that I can eventually set up with a sidecar for my service dog -- around $35,000. I had made sure I had approximately $100,000 available so that if the right machines and numbers were there, I could simply pay cash and get it done. I arrived shortly before closing, and the salesperson was friendly, but surprisingly unfamiliar with the Can-Am Canyon. I actually had to point the Canyon out on a poster because he initially didn't think they carried it. When I asked about the Redrock trim, there was additional confusion because he thought I was asking for something other than a Canyon. I was looking for a Canyon Redrock. They didn't have the motorcycles I wanted, which isn't anyone's fault. We did, however, work numbers on the Canyon. They came back at roughly $38,000. I countered at $35,500. Instead of countering or trying to find a number that worked, I was essentially told to "come back when you're ready to buy." That was the part I couldn't understand. I was ready to buy. In fact, I kept trying to close the deal. It was one of the strangest sales experiences I've had because I felt like I was the salesperson trying to overcome the dealership's objections. I didn't expect them to accept every number I offered. Negotiating is part of buying a vehicle. I expected a counteroffer, a conversation with a manager, or some effort to find common ground -- particularly when I was potentially looking at purchasing three machines. Instead, I left. The salesperson was nice, and I don't have anything personally negative to say about him. But being willing and financially prepared to spend close to $100,000 and leaving because I couldn't get the dealership to actually sell me something was a very strange experience. At this point, I'll most likely bought the Canyon from another dealer over the phone when I was still in their parking lot and will probably get the Indians through another dealer.

Lol Thank goodness that he told me to call ahead to see if they had the right sized battery! When I called the Campbell location, they had my battery but we're short staffed and could not install. I called the San Carlos Ave., AutoZone location and the gentleman there said they had enough employees to install a new car battery for me! As I drove over to the San Carlos auto, three other people were also there with dead batteries and purchasing new ones to have them be installed as well. lol Oscar helped me install. The battery was incredibly helpful and someone talkative since he was an early 20's gentleman and I told him how my son and I had to deal with the pandemic he told me he was the class of 2020!! Goodness, what an awful year to graduate, but very iconic at the same time!! Pandemic times, there's been a number of people I've been in contact with that honestly have no Customerservice skills whatsoever!! Granted in my mid 40s and talkative, but I also can read a room. Speaking with Oscar he made conversation easy and was very helpful and was able to get me in and out within about 20 minutes since he had a line of cars out the door, meeting batteries! I will definitely go back and buy other products here since their team seems to be so incredibly helpful and busy!! I'm very thankful for the team here at AutoZone off San Carlos Ave. Hee.
