My 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 has been serviced by this shop for 9 years. I've never had any issues with either their service or their attitude (as some of the negative comments alluded to); that's why it's surprising to me that some had a 1-star experience with this shop. One of the 3 mechanics there has a 2015 V-Strom 650, so he's been very helpful in giving me advice & opinion on aftermarket accessories; I've had at least 3 pieces of accessories installed on my bike to mirror his bike, & no complaints whatsoever. Cycle Pro / CyclePro Death Wobble This is a warning to anyone considering using CyclePro, the shop at the corner of Narcoossee Rd and Lee Vista in Orlando. My wife's 1996 Dyna needed tires. CyclePro is the closest shop to the house so I thought they would be a good choice. I bought the tires they recommended: Michelins "because the Metzlers you have are junk." Got the bike back and rode it 13 miles home at low speeds to scrub in the new tires. Fast forward a week and we get on the highway and my wife's bike starts a high frequency wobble. She slows down thinking that she must have caught a groove in the road. She speeds back up and at 65 she again goes into a high frequency wobble. The handlebars were not going back and forth, but the bike was weaving left and right taking up nearly half a lane. After 50 yards or so she regains control, gets off the road and we ride back to Cycle Pro. The mechanic started checking the usual stuff. Rear wheel had no play. Swing arm had no play. Front wheel had no play. Says the tires are overinflated and lets air out to 30 lbs HOT. Owner came in and explained that "it's because it's a Harley. They are sued all the time for the 'Harley Death Wobble' and they all do that." Then they decided that all rubber mount motors have a high speed wobble, and my wife is just not used to it. Good on her that she didn't hit him. She has been riding that bike for 17 years, she has had her Ducati since 2002 and has been riding since the 1980s. She also had the skill to ride a high speed wobble down from highway speeds and get it off the road. It might be relevant that we went to Tampa and home on back roads 2 weeks prior. It was about 300+ miles that weekend on that bike with no problems. Speeds up to 85 (in the middle lane because I-4 runs faster than that). No CyclePro Death Wobble. Just a nice stable bike. She got even hotter when the shop owner said "You're saying we did something wrong. I have to protect my shop." The mechanic checks everything and says it looks good. The shop owner decides to ride it to humor us. But by this time, the mechanic has gotten the message that the owner thinks we're here for a lawsuit or something, so he spent the time the owner was gone, Googling "Harley Death Wobble" over and over in an attempt to prove that the bike was like that when it came in and "all Harley's do that." Then the owner comes back saying that the bike is too dangerous to ride and that it goes into a high speed wobble at 65-70! No sh-t. They kept the bike and replaced the tires and tubes back to Metzlers. They checked the fall away and the steering head checks good. They checked the front/rear bearings and they are good. Swing arm has no play. Forks were 0.0005 mm misaligned. The owner declared, "I rode it and it's good... a little sensitive but no wobble... But the wobble is gone." I rode it home, took it to 70 and on decel, I nearly lost control when the bike went into a high frequency wobble. I tried on throttle, off throttle, neutral throttle and it never settled down until I got down to 60. Back up to 75 and the wobble started again. This was not a slight vibration. It was a whole-bike front-to-back oscillation that was uncontrollable. So the only thing different about that wheel is that CyclePro changed the tire and bent the wheel. Cycle Pro Death Wobble. I'm done with them and the Cyclepro Death Wobble. Now, because I didn't just do it right myself, I had to pull the wheel, dismount the tire, find someone to re-true the wheel and remount/balance and reinstall. Standard Cycle did a great job and fixed the CyclePro Death Wobble in a couple of days. Bottom line: Be warned about CyclePro in Orlando. If they ruin your bike and send you out with a dangerous CyclePro Death Wobble that they caused, their first concern is protecting their shop. They will not fix what they broke or make it right. This shop is a danger to anyone on a motorcycle. 1 star because there is nothing lower read more

Wow, so I literally never write reviews and after the phone call I just had with this shop I think this is more than necessary. So I called in asking to do a routine inspection of my Yamaha 1100 V-Star. The person that answered was extremely rude, cut me off at least 4 times in less than 5 minutes, and said in a very demeaning tone, and I quote, "There is no such thing as an inspection, this is a check-up." I apologized for using the wrong word and explained that I purchased the bike last year and was not sure how often it had been serviced (that was the next question the person on the phone asked me). About 30 seconds later they began quoting me on a "Valve-Inspection", fairly annoyed that I was talked down to for a misuse of simple vocabulary earlier on in the conversation, I retorted with "I didn't think there was such a thing as an inspection?" The shops response, "I didn't say inspection." My response, "Yes, that is exactly what you said, after you just chastised me for it." SHOPS RESPONSE, "LETS NOT GET SMART-ASSY." (Are you kidding me?!) I said that I thought that was enough of a conversation and that I would be taking my bike elsewhere. Well your choice on taking your bike here, and I have no basis for rating their mechanical skills, but WOW, if you want to talk about learning customer service skills, holy God. I don't think I have ever been that talked down to by such a rude individual in that short of a conversation in my life. Considering this shop has "3 full time employees" I really hope that that was not the owner, and that they might choose their employees based on common sense, communication skills, and customer service a little more closely in the future. If that WAS the owner I have no idea how they are still open and operating. I should also add that it is 2:48 on 10/16/2017, the conversation I had took place at 2:45, so these quotes are literally word for word. read more

These guys are good, fantastic service and great people in general. Never once felt like the typical shop trying to nickel and dime you for everything. Took my Z650 in for a couple parts to be put on that required the frame work to be moved around a bit and they did a great job and more. Definitely know what they are doing and know the ins and outs of the bikes. 10/10 and will be going back whenever I need something done! read more

CyclePro is a top notch motorcycle mechanic in the Orlando area. I've had my bikes there for various things and they always do a great job. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, and have no problems giving you advice if you're trying to decide what to do or if you're between brands for replacement parts, modifications, tyres, etc. Not the cheapest mechanic in Orlando, but you get what you pay for, and their prices are fair for the quality of work they do; and at the end of the day, they're still a lot cheaper than the dealerships. read more

If you want to buy a tuning product that the company will no longer support and tell you to buy the new one.... Call cycle pro and they will set you up with a product they know nothing about and will stop supporting as soon as the new one comes out. Rapid bike 3 was installed on a track bike I just bought and cycle pro hasn't a clue about it. Guy on the phone (who was a smart ass from the very start) doesn't know if their tuner cables will work with it, doesn't know where to get software, doesn't know anything other than "buy the new one", which is probably why he's answering phones. This guy literally told me that if I wanted something that actually works, buy the new rapid bike evo. Ive bought power commanders or bazazz for every bike I've put a tuner on myself, and will continue to do so. I would never ever ever spend a dollar of my money with this company. Rapid bike will go in the trash this weekend and be replaced with something from a reputable company. I wouldn't dare sell the old one for fear of advertising for the company. Ive never once called dynojet and had them tell me to buy the new one, or that they don't know anything about past products. Bottom line: There are literally hundreds of companies to choose from to buy stuff for your motorcycle, pick a different one. read more

Rode to bike week from colorado and needed service, brake work, clutch adjustment on my 2011 harley flhtk. Saw the reviews on yelp and tried the shop. I would recommend Cycle Pro to everyone! I am a new rider and had purchased a bike through Craigslist. Having never purchased anything through Craigslist before, and not being familiar with motorcycles, I wanted someone reliable to check over my new Honda Shadow Ace. This shop came very highly recommended by an individual who works at Cycle Gear in Orlando. He said he would never take his bike anywhere else and now, neither would I! Yaman and crew are the best. Yaman was so patient in explaining my bike to me and what they will look over. I had new tires, windshield and crashbars put on. The bags which came with the bike also had no support bars which Yaman pointed out. After all of this work I noticed on my ride home that my throttle was sticking. I brought it back to the shop and they would not let me ride my bike home out of safety concern while they were ordering new throttle cables. Once the bike was repaired with the new cables Yaman was going to eat the cost for the repair. He haf felt so bad that he did not catch the throttle issue before I took it home the first time but I would not ever let him do that. The bike is 10 years old and needed new cables as since their installation it rides sooooo much better! Everyone's patience, professionalism and just doing super wonderful work is much appreciated by this biker chic! Everyone.......go here just once and you will be as impressed as I am! read more

Consulted with Yaman (owner) on best "bang for the buck" performance upgrade of my 2014 Versys 650 (we landed on Arrow exhaust & fuel mapping with Rapid Bike module).
