Came in for breakfast after seeing all the good reviews on yelp and I have to say it was all worth the hype. It's such a nice friendly breakfast place which has everything from French toast to pancakes. My boyfriend loved the chicken and waffles. I ordered a pancake and hash browns. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! Since I was in the area I decided to go to this place on a Sunday because there is always lots of people in line. (That usually means the food is good) So I ordered bacon, eggs, toast, and hashbrowns it was good. My friend ordered pancakes and it was so good. It taste like a sweet fluffy cake. The worse Service ever experienced! We were the only two non-local and different color customer sitting inside for over an hour. The only thing served was water and the unreal coffee we asked for. After about 45 minutes, the waitresses came by and told us she accidently threw away our order and retake the order again. Then she walk away and never come by. People were serves before and after us left.. the place was full of people when we walked in, and was half way empty as we walked out because we never got our food. This place is not too far from my house, so it's become my go-to when i wake up late and or too tired to make my own breakfast. This is the forth time I've been here. The first time, I thought they could've done better, second time maybe a new cook, so I gave them one last try, bad idea! I ordered the corned beef hash with over medium eggs and rye toasts. I was so surprised when the waitress came with a big plate full of hash browns...I immediately look at the plate looking for my corned beef bc these corned beef hash doesn't look like what I'm used to. They look like ham cut into pieces (see picture). The eggs were over done and the rye toasts must've been sitting in the pantry too long, it smelled. I gave them too many chances. I'm giving it a 2/5 star overall rating bc of a good service and the pumpkin pancakes which is the only thing that's good. I will never come back to this place again...would rather go to IHOP or Denny's. read more

The yelp member who mentioned in their review about coming before 10AM was correct. By the time we sat down, there was a huge crowd of people waiting outside, so we were glad we beat the rush! My reason for 3 stars is because it's not really worth the wait. Food is okay - not anything special. It was kind of hard to find something from the menu that really stood out to me. My friend and I shared a stack of pancakes and the garden skillet. The butter on the pancakes tasted salty when we were expecting a sweet butter. The garden skillet was pretty good, but again..nothing special. What lacked even more was service. Our server was okay, but not warm and friendly like I was expecting for a small breakfast place in the suburbs. Before we were even done eating, she already popped by to drop off our bill and after we paid, she never came back to check on us or ask us if we needed a box. Really no one was making any eye contact for us to flag down to ask for a box. We literally had to lean out of our booth and wave an arm to get someone's attention. Okay this place is good for cypress but just okay in life. This is hands down the best breakfast place in cypress that's not a chain. However I've definitely been to better brunch places. The food is just a little bland. I got skillet potatoes and I needed a lot of cholula to make them taste like anything. The grits are super super plain too and the syrup tastes 100% like Aunt Jemima. There's nothing wrong with aunt jemima but when I go to a restaurant I like things that taste a little bit better than the stuff I can buy myself at the grocery store. Probably my biggest problem was the coffee -- it tasted like plain water colored brown. I can overlook problems in food if the coffees good... but this really wasn't. Also, it's super crowded inside even on a random Tuesday at 9:30. Personally I don't think it's worth the wait... but also there's not that much else around if you really want a classic breakfast/brunch in cypress. Some pros: the portion sizes are HUGE! Also I love the whole wheat toast they use! It has a ton of grains and a really nice texture. The Belgian waffle is also really nice and crispy! read more

I just wish it was bigger because it gets so crowded! The wait on weekends can be up to an hour long. That's how good this place is. Parking is a problem, but it is for all of the shops in this shopping strip. I've parked in the street many times without any issues. If anything, walking back to my car is much needed after eating here because everything is so good! My go to is the Benedict's Buenos. It's jalapeño cornbread covered in chorizo, cheese, pico de gallo, and topped with two perfectly poached eggs. It comes with a side; I usually go for the fruit just to make myself feel like I've made some sort of healthy food choice. The coffee is good as are the seasonal pancakes. If the pumpkin pancakes are being served, get them! You won't regret it. The garden omelet is a hearty yet healthy alternative. I've never had a bad experience here. It's family friendly, the service is on point, and the food never seems to disappoint. At times the wait can be long. I suggest stopping in either early on the weekends or around 1pm to avoid waiting. My only gripe is I'd love to be able to enjoy a mimosa or five with my breakfast. Endojin, on the opposite end of the strip, is BYOB ... I've got my finger's crossed for CBH to offer the same soon. read more

The fruits in the French toast really go super well together the toast and cream cheese. Very very flavorful. The Mexican skillet was also really good. Portions was huge, so be prepared to be full by the time you leave this place lol. An underrated thing about this place, are the buns/bread. Super fluffy. I'd also recommend trying the strawberry dream waffle. Honestly, pretty much everything here is really tasty, so you can't go wrong. You're gonna be leaving satisfied after you eat at this place.
