We bought our house in February and had Bugco come out to do an inspection of the house and attic before we purchased (after inspector found rat droppings in attic). They "fixed" all the potential problems and put out rat poison traps and we signed up for a quarterly service. This summer I found out I was pregnant and the mosquitos at our house were horrendous. I couldn't sit outside. Bugco said there was nothing they could do about the mosquitos. Turns out they weren't checking everything they were suppose to be, as rats and squirrels found their way into our house from the attic. After calling Bugco to have a smell investigated (which they will not remove anything from the house if there is something!) we called Michael and he came out same day to investigate the smell in our attic. Found a rat, and set up traps same day. Upon further investigation a pesky squirrel was getting into out attic as well! He repaired some entry points and on his second inspection, found that the squirrel was relentless! He chewed around the grate and got back in! Michael fixed again to be sure the squirrel couldn't get in, and it seems to have worked now. After Michael came out we fired Bugco and started using him for our quarterly service needs. Mosquitos have gone down since and he does a more thorough check of the property (including attic!) Michael is very professional and friendly! I received their service mid October and I went with cypress pest and critters because of their response time and great ratings. The owner and his wife was very polite and was very informative. They promised me my pest problem would disappear and it eventually did. I asked if this treatment will kill other bugs as well and he said yes so spraying the whole house was important to me especially since I just moved into a new build in July and we had so many spiders, earwigs, and now....fleas. My husband and I noticed our attic wasn't sprayed since we had spider webs around the opening of our attic (on the string to pull down the ladder). We called and informed that we don't believe they sprayed our attic and the owner said that our attic didn't even need to be sprayed if they were treating fleas. However, in our messages and on the invoice it said it was sprayed. I understand fleas are not present in the attic but we wanted to kill any other bugs that the treatment will kill as well. None the less, they sent someone out next day at no charge and the gentleman explained to me what the spray does to the bugs and how it kills them. After being told by Critter Control that it was gong to cost $7,000 to rid my home of approximately 60-80 roof rats whose presence in my home was probably causing irreparable health damage to me and my family, I decided to call around. I got three other quotes which were all a small fraction of what critter control wanted. Cypress was my best offer and when you consider the customer service you are getting you are getting a DEAL. Michael and his wife are accommodating, down to earth, fun and above all else simply want to get anything the crawls out of your house (minus children and pets) and they pride themselves in doing just that. Scheduling was easy and I haven't heard any other noises. And I know that if I did I could call them back and they would be right out immediately. Oh, and Michael informed me that there may be a few rats that got in but they haven't been there very long and it's not an infestation. As I was losing it thinking of rats in our house (just moved here from the Midwest and I've NEVER heard of anyone having roof rats though it's pretty common around here) Michael quoted me for an antibacterial spray and clean up and said that he has referrals for people who could redo insulation but insisted that it was not necessary and that he wouldn't recommend it. But of course he would be happy to do it if it made me feel more comfortable. That's pretty upstanding in my book. Since moving here I've found very few companies which offer exceptional work and customer care. I have been full out scammed three times and I have felt like I can't trust anyone. From the beginning, Mike was very friendly and personable. I'm a texter, so he quickly found that it's the best way to reach me- and he did! We are in the home-buying process. Mike was wonderful in making sure our new home would be pest and critter-free at move in. They are the absolute best! Michael is so personable and provides the best customer service. But above this his services work! I was having a horrible earwig problem this year. I had a contracted pest contact company whose chemicals were doing absolutely nothing to ameliorate the problem I was having. One very, very late evening after seeing about 15-20 earwigs throughout my entire home, I researched and found them on Yelp. I emailed the business and received a reply within 15-20 minutes of my initial communication! I explained the problem and the type of chemical the other company was using and he immediately knew what they were doing would be sufficient for my problem and advised what he could do. He and his team were out the next week, did an intensive spray and the earwigs were banished! CCP is awesome! We had them do a full ant/termite treatment before we closed on our new home including inside/outside insecticide. They fully guarantee the ant/termite treatment for a full year so if you see any ants in your yard, just call them out and they'll retreat at $0 cost. If you're on their quarterly insecticide plan they'll also retreat the inside of your home ANYTIME if you have problems with spiders, cockroaches, etc. We moved into a new subdivision with a lot of constructions and the spiders are BAD! Kyle our service technician is super prompt and professional. He texted us 15 minutes before arriving. We received an invoice for $0 cost post-visit which includes the actual chemicals used. These guys were great. Saw them down the street at another house and asked for a card. Mark said he would come over when he finished and give me an estimate. I've had squirrels for the second time this year. In the spring repaired all the screens and rotted wood. The little monsters chewed their way back in. He showed me places they could get in that I wasn't even aware of. They fixed all the places and covered all the soffits with metal vents and even painted the places they covered the wood trim with metal to match. They set traps to make sure we got any that may have been inside when they sealed everything up. Then they came back several times over the next two weeks to check them. Kyle and Mark were fantastic, polite and on time to each appointment. They even gave me a five year guarantee. If those pesky squirrels manage to get back in Cypress Critters will come out for free. read more

I found a Wasp problem in my attic, Jerry came out today with Mark and treated the area as well as covering the outside area with a screen to prevent them coming in again made it look real nice too. Jerry was here a few months ago to treat an ant problem I had and did an amazing job then as well. Jerry is incredibly knowlegable about every aspect of pest control. Our home was due for termite treatment and after doing the proper research, I decided to hire a professional. I called three different pest control companies, each with outstanding Yelp reviews and Micheal was the least expensive. He was almost half of one of my bids AND he was going to treat the inside of our house where all pipes ran through slab and entered the home. That is something I never even considered and something that was not even brought to my attention by the other two companies. We had a terrible, pungent smell of something dead in our house over the past week. After trying to locate the animal myself, without success, I called Cypress Critters on Saturday evening, expecting to hear from them (hopefully) on Monday. Michael called me only 1 hour after I emailed them to contact me for a quote (on Saturday evening!) and made an appointment for Sunday afternoon.
