Ask the Community - Cypress Water Heater

Recently, I had an issue with my water heater — it stopped providing hot water suddenly. What do you think could be the cause, and how would you go about fixing it? Also, what are your working hours? I want to make sure they fit my schedule?

Depending on the issue, it could be a simple reset, a part replacement, or in some cases, a recommendation for a new unit if the heater is very old. We are available all days…

Another company got the part in their van and was done in 15 minutes. Today, had Rick come out to snake a drain, which i was charged a co-pay by American Home Shield. He came out and said he couldn't snake the drain under the sink cause he could cause damage that wasn't covered by American Home Shield. Instead, he wants to cut thru an AC vent for $650 to snake the drain. Logic didn't make sense at all despite asking him multiple times. Also, the leaking P trap got worse after he took it apart, which just needed a new washer, which he failed to recognize or fix. So for my co-pay, he did nothing and made the leaking P trap worse. Call the same 2nd company, and they were puzzled by his logic, called it a scam. They snaked the pipe and fixed the P trap in 15-20 minutes for $150. I hate writing reviews, esp bad reviews. But this company is unethical, dishonest, deceitful, fraudulent, and scammy. I will never use them again. And American Home Shield will do nothing about this type of behavior and practice. Beware!!!

My experience with Vintage Plumbing Services LLC was very disappointing…read more The technician came to my home to inspect a toilet issue and, after his evaluation, reported to the home warranty company that the problem was caused by an "accident." This is completely false. There was no accident and no prior attempt to repair it. When I contacted him to ask for an explanation, he claimed that "someone had tried to fix it," essentially implying that I was being dishonest. This kind of accusation is completely unacceptable. Beyond being inaccurate, this behavior shows a total lack of professionalism and integrity. As a customer, you expect honesty and an accurate diagnosis, not assumptions or misleading reports that can affect your warranty coverage. I definitely do not recommend their services.
