First, we are never disappointed by the food, always very good. We have been going there since the opening many many years ago, and will continue. I think this needs to be said. We were there on Saturday, had called in our order, once arrived we waited at least 15 to 20 minutes for our to go order, when I noticed there were 2 bags on the back counter, which had been there for a while. I went up and asked if they were ours. She seemed extremely frustrated that I asked the question, never apologized and just responded that she was going in a million different directions and basically but the bags on the counter and walked away. As a note, there was only one table with customers. I have been in Sales all my life, can't imagine how I would of kept any of my customers with such a lack of respect. What a gem! We were in Orange and came across this little hidden cafe. Boy were we impressed. Their ice blended, I had the Black Forest, was incredible. Tasty, strong and filled with bits and pieces of chocolates and coffee bean. Far superior to your average Starbucks coffee. Their omelette and hash brown was equally delicious and yummy. We had Sunday breakfast there and it was ok. The place is small and we felt smooshed. Service was also ok, not bad and not great. Seems like locals get better treatment that fist time visitors. I had eggs Benedict and eggs were way overdone. I asked for eggs to be remade and it took them a while and the second time they were overdone but not as much. I did not want to wait forever and just let it go. Overall it was ok, don't go there during peak time if you are trying to eat quickly. I was actually looking for Tru Bru but must have made a wrong turn or something... the parking in this plaza is a little bit strange but it wasn't too difficult to find a spot. They have tons of seating outside and a good number of seats inside. Wifi password is the phone number. I ordered a latte and the caprese omelet, which came with toast and fruit. Total came out to around $15. They were both just okay. The service was also just okay. I saw the cashier repeatedly make mistakes on people's orders while I was there, so maybe they just have a lot of new staff, but it would be great if they were just friendlier in general. I'm a little late with writing this review and now I'm glad I waited. I am appalled to say the least after reading a review from a Rachel T from a couple weeks ago. My family and I were in OC last month visiting family and spent most mornings at Cyranos. My family loves this restaurant and visits there at minimum twice weekly. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly, courteous and attentive. And I'm not sure where the lack of diversity comment comes from, because from where I was standing, sitting, etc that was 100% not the case. And since when is it an issue to have people look at someone when they walk in? Maybe they liked her mask (if she was wearing one). It's also very normal for staff to engage with customers regardless of their age. I want people who read and pay attention to the reviews to know this place is above par in every respect. If I'm not happy with food, customer service, or any part of my experience I would speak to a manager and not try to slander someone with a bad review. I think most people would. Especially now.... So if you want to experience great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, please visit Cyranos. I will be back, my family will most definitely be back and THANK YOU TO THE MGMT AND STAFF AT CYRANOS. Went here for breakfast with a group of classmates and it turned out to be a great find. Its a bit hidden in the back lot of the plaza so it seemed a bit sketchy to me, but it was good. They have a very eclectic menu! I was stumped on what to order for breakfast, honestly I'm not even the hugest breakfast person but the California Burrito was deeelicious! It had soooo much bacon, cheese, avocado, and egg. They didn't stuff it up with all potato! This was a huge bonus to me, plus the presentation was pretty simple but nice. The burrito was also quite large so portioning is awesome! Prices are ok, average I guess. My meal came out to be about 9 dollars. I definitely wanna stop by again, a lot of other items I want to try! One of the girls got oatmeal and that honestly looked so devine considering they presented it so well. They had all the toppings for the oatmeal on the side in small little bowls, which looked soo adorable. Ambiance: Typical cafe like, very quaint. I needed to get some work done plus I needed some breakfast. I came across this spot on Yelp so I decided to check it out. I ordered the chorizo burrito with the hash browns and some coffee. I wasn't impressed by the burrito but I kind of regretted getting it the minute I ordered it-- it was decent and definitely huge! I would get this to share with another person. The hash browns though we're delicious. The menu though had a lot of good options I'm still wondering why I decided to get a burrito. The place is super chill and laid back. You order at the counter and you pick your own place to sit which I really liked. The staff was also very friendly. My fav part is I could work somewhere and get a hearty breakfast.
