D did a FANTASTIC job detailing my car. He was quick, and as he advertised, he used quality products. I think he used ceramic window cleaners, as my widows were dust free for almost a week. My car surprisingly stayed clean longer than it normally would if I went to a regular wash. I will be a repeat customer for the quality of his work and customer service. Also, I feel good knowing that I really am supporting a small business. So if that's your jive, then I definitely recommend D. read more

Daniel of D Detail is great! I've never done a mobile car wash/detailing service before (where they come to you) and Daniel made the experience smooth. I sent out a quote request for "mini detailing" (essentially a car wash plus wax + exterior clay bar) via Yelp and D Detail was one of many who contacted me. D's prices were fair and he was available to drive by the next day so I booked him. I live in a small apartment building in west LA. Although I have a designated 2-spot outdoor tandam parking, Daniel did suggest that washing my car on the street would be better. I appreciate him letting me know ahead of time. So, finding street parking where I could park my car and he could park his truck (behind or in front) was the most work I had to do myself, but other than that, I felt like the experience was good. Daniel was prompt, brought all of his supplies including water and power, and was done with exterior detailing ~2ish hours. I would definitely book Daniel again and recommend his business. read more

I love this service so much! Daniel is meticulous and leaves my car spotless. He details the interior and the exterior; my car always looks like new! The price is reasonable too. I only pay $35 for my Mini Cooper. So cheap for the thorough cleaning he does. I highly recommend DDetail. read more

Perfection! Timely, good value, and literally best we've had in terms of cleaning and taking care of the car. I actually scraped the bumper of our Tesla in a big way and exiting a narrow garage. Upon walking up to the car, there was still water on many parts of the car. The lower half, the bumpers, water coming from door sills and windows. When I asked if they can dry it more, the head person kept telling me "exterior wash, exterior wash" as if I was asking for them to do something outside of an exterior wash. He seemed annoyed that I pointed out areas that weren't wiped down. He wiped them down for me, but the attitude and improper treatment of a paying customer was not okay. I gave 3 stars because the other times I've been here, with the other person running it, they've done a good job. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning. The manager, Liz Garcia, promptly responded with a comment, asking if she could speak with me to resolve the issue. I emailed the address she provided, but never received a response. I then went in person to the car wash to try to speak with her, but she was not there. I spoke with an employee named Oscar, who told me that those responses are automatically sent by customer care, and that there was actually no intention from Ms. Garcia to speak with me or help resolve the issue. So, in addition to having my windshield damaged and the claim denied, there is also a pattern of "public-facing" responses meant to look helpful online, without any real follow-up or willingness to take responsibility. Oscar also confirmed that speaking with the manager would not make a difference, as claims are handled centrally anyway. The incident happened about a month ago, and in the meantime I have had to pay around $1,000 out of pocket to repair my vehicle. Very disappointing experience overall.

They also repaired a part of my undercarriage that was taped up, after running over an object in the road. The repair cost $65 and they completed it while I waited. The part that stood out to me was the interaction during the inspection. When the employee asked where the issue was, I began looking for the screw in the tire. After a couple seconds he asked me to pull the car forward, and when I didn't move immediately he raised his voice and repeated it very loudly. I told him that I didn't appreciate being spoken to that way, and after that the interaction continued normally and the repair was completed. In the end the work itself was quick and solved the problem, but the tone of the initial interaction made the visit uncomfortable. Hopefully it was just a stressful moment on a busy day, because the actual repair service was simple and effective.
