We came here for the first time when family was visiting us in town. The breakfast was good the service waitress was better. She was very attentive, answering questions and making recommendations. I don't eat pork, she was able to get me turkey bacon. It wasn't written on the menu, so I really appreciated her asking. They have parking and it was family friendly. Decisions, decisions, decisions here. Diner style breakfast offerings, Mexican dishes, desserts and alcoholic drinks are available. I got the hollandaise covered spinach-mushroom-cheese omelette! Lots of ingredients and the cheese did pull into cheesy strings when I tried to take my fork bite. But wait, with it comes a large, fluffy crispy 3 pancake plate. I was in Reno before my big trip to Tampa Bay for the football game! Was looking for a great place to eat, and this place came up! Boy or boy am I glad it did! The staff was very friendly. Wow, this is a hidden gem nestled in a small strip mall on Moana lane. We were looking for a new to us place for breakfast and we were impressed. We had to wait a few minutes for a table to accommodate our party of 5 but we were greeted promptly and seated promptly once the table was ready. Our server was efficient and thorough in taking our order. The eggs were cooked to a perfect medium and everything was delicious. The kids asked for more eggs and they arrived within 4 minutes. My coworker found this place and we put on our list since it's close to work. We called on order in around 1:20p and they quoted us 10-15 minutes I probably got there a few minutes past the 15 minute mark and it was waiting on me. The Chicken Caesar wrap is pretty much exactly what you would find in a salad but in a wrap. Although now I'm remembering that the menu said there were croutons in it and there were not but that's not normally something I would expect in a wrap so no loss there. The portion was huge and we commented that we could split this next time and get some extra fries. It was pretty simple but tasty. Looking forward to trying some other stuff. So, we had to wait a few minutes for a table. That was ok, after sitting, I ordered some coffee. They asked what flavor creamer and I asked for regular cream. They gave me coffeemate (fake cream). I asked for real cream or half-and-half. They said that was all they had. Paying over $3 for coffee, I'd like real milk/cream. The prices are great and the food was quite good, but having to wait so long for 2 eggs and 2 strips of bacon was just strange. I had to ask for my wife's breakfast 5 times and got just 'ok, it's coming' response. We finished our breakfast before my wife's arrived. No explanation, no apology :( I shared my omelette and pancakes with my wife as I couldn't have her just watch us lol. They were not completely packed, but it was busy. We will give this place another try as the menu had a good mix of Salvadoran food and standard coffee shop foods. A small very popular El Salvador restaurant that has an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. My wife had two carnitas tacos and was full after one and a half. They really pile on the meat and extras. Tortillas and all the vegetables were fresh tasting, she enjoyed the radishes and limes served with the dish. I chose the burrito a la carte & was not disappointed. It was huge and the Al pastor pork filling was delicious. The staff were on their toes, pleasant and very attentive to customers needs. We visited the cafe based on reviews after spending the wee hours of the morning at the Balloon Races and were really looking forward to it. The first thing noticed was the interior; not what we'd expected at all. Very basic, like any other strip mall eatery. Tables had a sticky patina to them, the menus weren't overly impressive. We'd hoped the food would be amazing enough to forget the lack of decor and ambiance. Nope. It was a huge letdown. There were a lot of leftovers we didn't take with us. Our party ordered carne asada, steak omelette, and a waffle. All three dishes were very tasty. The carne asada came with rice and beans, salad, a roasted pepper, and homemade corn tortillas. The tortillas were a great treat! That was my breakfast, and I found it to be excellent. The others in our party also stated that their dishes were very good. Today my husband found this restaurant off of Moana that serves breakfast, lunch & dinner but also serves Salvadorean & Mexican food. I don't know about you but I use yelp pictures to help me order. So I originally came in here thinking I was going to get country fried steak (because that's my usual order) for breakfast but the pictures on yelp did not make that meal look appetizing and i'm so glad I didn't go order it .. instead the pupusas caught my attention. My fiancé ordered a French toast combo; very similar to what I had except hers came with a small stack of pancakes. Coffee was brewed great and served HOT! Perfect for a cold morning. Upon opening I was very excited I luv eggs Benedict I saw there looked to be no hollandaise but I started to plate I licked my finger and the excitement returned when I could taste it. When I plated my dogs I could of asked for better, he totally enjoyed. My first time coming here and I love the family atmosphere. We were a group of 11 and the Boss Man allowed us to fandango with the chairs and tables.
