This review has been long overdue! What can I say that hasn't already been said in all of these glowing reviews here? Well, I was looking for the right words to accurately describe my experience working with Gina, and to be honest, some of the feelings were mixed at first, but when we received our wedding video, it definitely reminded us of just how valuable Gina and her team's services were in contributing to the success of our BIG day! If it wasn't for her, our wedding day wouldn't have been as PERFECT as it was. So reflecting back almost a year ago, these 5 shining stars are well deserved by Gina and her amazing team! =) D'Lish is a full service, one-stop shop for all of your wedding needs, but being the DIY bride that I am, I only needed help tying everything together on the actual day, so I hired Gina as my Day-of Coordinator and Caterer and she came through with flying colors! I planned my entire wedding via the internet and phone, all the way from New York City. This required a TON of patience and blind trust in people who you mostly had to pay in full, well in advance of the actual wedding day. I have to admit, at first I sort of felt like her response time could have been better and a part of the time I just felt like I wasn't as cherished of a customer because I wasn't paying for a "full package", but it must have been my bridezilla hormones raging and playing tricks on me! Gina really came through when it was showtime and that's all that really mattered. So being that I was planning the entire wedding myself, this included doing the flowers and centerpieces the day before the wedding. Our venue was nice enough to allow us the use of their facility to tackle this task. Gina stuck around after the rehearsal and helped us out by using the flowers we had to created a "sample" centerpiece for us to copy. She totally got my vision! By the end of the afternoon, we had all the centerpieces ready and stored them into the refrigerator. The next day... the BIG day... I almost fainted when I looked in the fridge and a good amount of the flowers wilted from being too cold... then came Gina to the rescue! She salvaged what was left of the flowers and really helped us to improvise.. everything came out just as beautiful as if nothing had gone wrong. Then, more flower drama... I had ordered my bouquet from another vendor and when it was delivered, I was extremely disappointed because the bouquet looked nothing like what was discussed, even after I provided the vendor with multiple pictures... not even close! Gina saw that I was really upset and offered to help make me a new bouquet with the flowers from the centerpieces, but me being sensitive to the feelings of the florist, just felt really bad, so I declined the offer, but it was the sweetest gesture and exactly what I needed at that time of crisis. Gina also offers a floral service and would typically charge for making a bouquet, but she was willing to offer her help in my time of need. I was truly touched. Moral of the story? Gina is an EXPERT at what she does and has a heart of gold! She truly understands the pressures that each bride would face on their special day and knows how to diffuse any situation where things don't go smoothly. I really felt like she bent over backwards to make sure that I was happy. I also noticed that throughout the night, she was really attentive and worked hard to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. I had a vision of what my dream wedding would be, and Gina was the KEY to bringing everything to life. On top of all that, Gina has proven to be knowledgeable of the venue, she offers fair and affordable pricing, and she is a person with great style and an artistic vision, not to mention all the food and the cake (made by her sister, Leigh, of Tiers of Joy) were all D'LISH!! She comes with a staff of highly trained professionals and our day couldn't have been more perfect without this dream-team! If you are considering D'Lish for your wedding or are undecided, I would definitely recommend "pulling the trigger" on this one, Gina is your GAL! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you once again Gina and I hope all is well over in paradise! =)

The photos we received for our wedding turned out wonderfully -- our families were so happy with them, and we were grateful to have those memories captured. But sadly, we're now past 8 months since our wedding, and we still haven't received our highlight or full video, despite following up several times. We also asked for a few specific/missing photos (a large group reception shot and a portrait of the bride with her immediate family) that still haven't been delivered. What's been most disappointing is the lack of transparency and communication. We've been incredibly patient, giving space for the creative process and trying not to rush the team. But after so many months and repeated follow-ups, we're left feeling anxious and in the dark. We've just repeatedly been told "next week" for months and now we've reached a point that we've been entirely ghosted. We trusted Isle Media to preserve the emotional essence of a once-in-a-lifetime day -- and now we're afraid we may never get to relive it the way we had hoped. For a service of this cost and significance, this level of delay and silence is deeply disheartening. If/when our remaining photos and videos are delivered at the high-quality standard you would expect from Isle Media, I'll gladly update this review -- but as it stands, I wouldn't want another couple to go through this and therefore can't recommend their services to anyone looking for an event photographer/ videographer.

Front start to finish, it was the most amazing experience. The coordination was flawless and the service was top notch. We didn't get to meet our officiant Ellsworth until the day. The photographer and videographer made us feel so comfortable! The flowers were fresh and made beautifully. The hula dancer was gorgeous and the musician was wonderful. My hair and make up artist understood the assignment and they both made me look flawless! Our photographer Carson took over 200 photos and made us feel so special! Our highlight video and ceremony video were awesome. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to get married in Hawaii as they have the wedding planning down to a science. They have something in everyone's budget I loved that they took away the hassle of booking everything separately especially since we didn't live there! Thanks everyone!

Unfortunately, our experience with Weddings of Hawaii was very disappointing, especially when it…read morecame to the photography. From the beginning, communication was confusing and at times conflicting. Information seemed to change depending on who we spoke with. I think having one person assigned to each couple, or even a profile documenting each couple's questions, concerns, and meaningful details, would help make the experience much more personal and prevent important things from being missed. For example, we were originally told we could use our own photographer and videographer. We carefully researched and chose vendors we loved and paid deposits for both, only to find out very close to our wedding date that outside vendors weren't allowed and we had to use their "approved vendors." We then paid an additional $700 to choose our photographer based on the portfolios they provided. Otherwise, you're assigned a photographer based on availability. Our photographer was nice, and I felt confident in our choice based on the portfolio we were shown. Unfortunately, the photos we received were heartbreaking. The photos included in the package are UNEDITED, meaning you're paying for them whether you're happy with them or not. If you want them edited, you have to pay extra, and you also have to pay to have the unedited photos shipped. Honestly, I thought, how bad could they be? I was definitely wrong. There were major issues even before editing. The ONE group photo we received has my eyes closed. As the bride, I'm in the middle of the photo and naturally I'm going to look closely at it. In that same photo, more than half of my family's faces are cut off or blocked. What upset me most was barely being able to see my mom and dad. Other photos are blurry or have a strange scratchy appearance, some have poor or unflattering lighting, and many were taken from EXTREMELY unflattering angles. Going into this, I knew I wasn't the most photogenic person and that I can be awkward in front of a camera. I wasn't expecting perfection, and I understand not every photo will be perfect. But I truly believed that hiring a professional to capture one of the most important days of our lives meant they would take the time and care to capture the people, emotions, and moments that made our wedding special...and capture me at my best not my worst. Instead, looking through these photos has been genuinely heartbreaking. I was honestly on the verge of tears the first time I went through them. It wasn't just about how I looked. It was realizing that so many of the moments and people we wanted to remember weren't captured in a meaningful way. There are random photos of people, but very few that actually tell the story of our day or capture the people we love together. What makes it even harder is that the photographer covered our entire ceremony. I now have very few usable photos of our ceremony and guests...moments that can never be recreated. I'm incredibly thankful I hired someone separately to photograph us before the ceremony because those photos are AMAZING. Without them, I would have very little from our wedding day that I actually love. There were also other package issues. We were told things could be removed and deducted from our total, but that turned out to be another misunderstanding. I didn't like any of the included floral options and didn't want to spend over $500 extra for the simple bouquet I wanted. We were essentially left with the choice of a bouquet or leis. My husband and I are both allergic to leis, so while we were happy to give them to our mothers, we would have preferred the option to simply not have them and not pay for something we couldn't wear. We also didn't really want the live Hawaiian music or conch shell blowing, but were told they were part of the package. We couldn't even choose the Hawaiian song. My grandfather wrote Hawaiian music, and I would have loved to have one of his songs played but we were told they essentially only play the songs they have. To be clear, love Hawaii and are proud to be from here; we simply wanted our wedding to feel like us, rather than a preset "Hawaiian wedding" package. Our day-of coordinator was very nice, encouraging, and helpful, so my frustration isn't directed toward her. My biggest concerns are the lack of clear communication and, most importantly, the photography. At the end of the day, I just wanted photographs that would allow us to look back and remember our wedding the people we love, the emotions, the little moments, and the happiness of having everyone together. Instead, looking through these photos has been genuinely heartbreaking. These are memories we can never recreate, and I wish more care had been taken to capture the actual story and feeling of our day in a flattering way.

We interviewed with 3 different planners, and ABC ended up being ultimately the perfect fit for us. We loved all the work we saw on the website/social media, and knew that we needed a comprehensive package of some sort since we were busy healthcare professionals working in NYC. We had our initial consultation call with Mackenzie, who was so great, eased our minds, and laid out everything we needed to know to help us make our decision. We made a decision before the end of the week, as we felt the involvement of ABC and their ability to both help design and contact vendors on our behalf with us being so busy would be helpful (and it really was!). We chose the elite planning package - we basically had bi-weekly video calls where we went over specific talking points and their orderliness and helpful input really helped us round out our tough decisions. Whenever we needed something more urgently, we were even able to text Mackenzie and Sammy and they were always so willing to assist. Sammy eventually came on to become one of our lead coordinators and we could not rave about her more! Even when we ran into some challenges in the months leading up to the wedding (unexpected vendor changes, inclement weather, etc) Sammy was always 10 steps ahead and really ensured that we had the best outcome possible even before we knew what was happening. We were being photographed outside by the water on the NORTH SHORE with a storm approaching (IYKYK) and Sammy was by our side with a platter of pupu's and cocktails ready to be blown away! Even with Tropical Storm Lala literally making headway for our wedding, Sammy (along with Natalie & Autumn) helped make our wedding perfect. We are so grateful and could not recommend them more. :)

I especially appreciated how seamlessly they handled all the behind-the-scenes work and the communication with our vendors -- it let us be fully present and enjoy our day. They anticipated deadlines across every moving piece--vendor contracts, hotel coordination, and payment schedules--keeping us entirely out of the project manager seat. When hotel catering communication stalled on food and beverage, Maya aggressively followed up until it was resolved. When a bridesmaid had to drop out late and her replacement was arriving the afternoon before the wedding, they immediately restructured the timeline and executed an efficient day-of walkthrough without missing a beat. They coordinated our key vendors seamlessly, including Bliss DJs and their direct recommendation, Joseph Esser Photo + Video, whose team captured moments we never would have seen otherwise. On the day of the wedding, their execution was flawless. We chose their full-service package as this package included sourcing vendors for us, but hiring them turned out to be the biggest mistake of our wedding. 1. Subpar vendor sourcing The vendor recommendations were completely misaligned with our vibe and significantly overpriced. They provided only a single option per category with zero room for comparison. We ended up having to research, vet, and book almost all the other vendors ourselves to get the vibe we wanted at a much more affordable price point. 2. Day-of logistics & communication failure Despite asking for our bus driver's contact details in advance, the team did not coordinate with him. Our driver had to repeatedly call us directly on our wedding day while we were trying to get ready and enjoy the moment. When we brought this up to the team, the excuse given was simply, "Oh yeah, we have never worked with him before." As professional planners, coordinating with new vendors is the bare minimum expectation. 3. Rude and unprofessional attitude on the day A wedding planner should keep the atmosphere calm and positive. Instead, Tessa created unnecessary stress and hostility: a. Disrespectful to Our Officiant: Our officiant, a close friend who walked us through marriage preparation and flew all the way to Hawaii, politely asked Tessa a logistical question and was bluntly told, "Now is not the time to be asking these questions." Right before our march-in, she was openly talking rudely about him in front of our entire bridal party, killing the excitement and making everyone feel uncomfortable. b. Aggressive tone with groomsmen: During the groomsmen photoshoot, she snapped at one of the groomsmen for chewing gum, aggressively telling him: "Is that gum? You either spit it out or you swallow it." 4. Zero Accountability We hesitated to write a public review and reached out privately via email first to share our experience. Their response did not include a single apology or acknowledgment of their shortcomings. Every single external vendor we sourced and hired on our own was fantastic, but Fred and Kate Events consistently added tension, failed on coordination, and treated our closest friends and family with disrespect. Would totally look elsewhere for wedding coordination.
