Swollen and infected cuticle because they butchered my cuticle and made me bleed because they were rushing!

Save yourself the pain - literally. I've given this place so many chances, and I'm officially done. I've gotten terrible cuticle infections here twice, bad enough that I had to go to the doctor for prescription medication. Someone else told me they recently ended up in the ER from an infection from here!! The front desk is always rushing the techs, and it shows - they go too fast, cut my cuticles, and I usually leave bleeding. It used to feel worth it for the price, but now the prices keep going up and they upcharge for everything. Last time they charged me $5 extra for a fill because my nails were "too grown out" (they weren't). The place isn't clean - I've seen them reuse tools without disinfecting between clients. They've also filed my nails way too thin multiple times, to the point I felt burning from the drill. My nails were brittle for months and only got healthy again once I stopped coming here. Not worth the money, pain, or risk. Find a salon that actually takes their time and cares about hygiene.

I needed a builder gel fill and while she took a lot of care in placing of the gel and i appreciated that. It still ended up sooo thick and my two thumbs look completely different as do all of my other fingers but I'd been sitting there (uncomfortably---worst chairs ever no lumbar support) that i didn't say anything bc I needed to leave. Also the base they use for builder gel is SO pigmented that my normal color "baby take a vow" looks wrong .(Also the builder gel plus 3 tip extensions((nails broke)) took 1.45 hours and was $75 just for curiosity)

I had Kim who did my dip manicure and regular pedicure. I kept saying ouch because she was filing/buffing very aggressively but she didn't stop or care. The next day this is what my finger looks like. I've had a couple scratches from manicures in the past but never something like this. Not happy at all and honestly painful.

I called after 4 days to inform this business about the crappy job that was done because the dip is already chipping. Whoever answered said they couldn't understand me so I slowed down my speak and talked very clearly and he proceeded to have an attitude when I repeated yet again my name, when my appointment was and what had happened. He still kept repeating the wrong information back and I again tried to correct him and with an attitude told me to lose my attitude. I was trying to give them a chance to correct their mistake and not go public but DO NOT waste your money seeing how they do not use quality product and have low customer service skills.

Clean salon but quality has been pretty poor during my two experiences. When I asked if they could fix my manicure right after it was done they asked me to come back because they were busy. Unfortunately I wasn't able to come back so left pretty unsatisfied.

Always do a great job on my nails - they come out great every time and also very cleanly. Only issue I have is that sometimes even with an appointment I have to wait over 30 minutes and the staff does not say anything.

If I could leave a 0 I would. So rude to me from the second I walked in even tho I had an appt. I didn't like the first color I picked when I asked for just a light pink she pointed at the wall and told me "go" which was very rude. My gel was still kind of opaque after two coats when I asked for the third, the woman just looked at me, shook her head, held up the number 3 and said she already did three. Obviously she had not and didn't bother what I wanted. Plenty of better places in Southie. DO NOT GO

Uneven lengths, oval (asked for almond), thick, and the tips are separating from my natural nails and it's been less than 24 hours.

Judge for yourself based on attached photo. Nails got worse within hours of leaving salon, as there were gaps between my natural nail and artificial tip that separated more the second I washed my hands. Don't waste your time or money.

My nails and my friends nails are already chipping and it's only been a week. Also, our gel nail polish is extremely thick.

I have been a customer of this salon for over six years, and I am honestly shocked by how little…read morethat loyalty meant when I made a scheduling mistake. I accidentally booked an appointment for the same day, just 10 minutes before the appointment time, when I had intended to schedule it for another day. About an hour later, I received an email informing me that I had been charged a $57 no-show fee. The most frustrating part is that it was clearly an honest mistake. Who intentionally books an appointment 10 minutes before it starts and then doesn't show up? The timing alone should have made it obvious that this was an accidental booking error. As soon as I realized what happened, I called and explained the situation. I wasn't demanding a refund. I simply asked if the $57 could be applied toward another appointment that I was willing to book immediately. Considering I had been a loyal customer for more than six years and spent hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars there over that time, I thought this was a reasonable request. Instead, the answer was no. I was told they had called and texted me, at the start of the appointment, but I never received any calls or text messages. I followed up by emailing both the salon manager and corporate office, hoping someone would take a second look at the situation and use a little common sense. I have not heard back and at this point decided to just put this behind me. What disappointed me most wasn't the $57 itself. It was the complete lack of understanding, flexibility, and appreciation for a long-time customer. Businesses make exceptions for loyal customers all the time, especially when a mistake is clearly unintentional. This salon chose not to. To add, I have never not showed for an appointment on all the years I have gone to them. And unfortunately, this isn't an isolated concern. I later learned that the company has also faced public complaints and legal action regarding failure to properly pay employees for sick time and other labor-related issues. That, to me, only reinforces the same pattern: a business that appears to prioritize strict policies and profit over both customers and employees. This experience confirmed what I've felt for a while: customer service is not a priority here. Policies seem to matter more than people, and there is little interest in building long-term relationships or treating either clients or staff with fairness and flexibility. After more than six years, I will be taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty of salons that value their customers enough to show a little grace when an honest mistake happens--and also treat their employees with basic respect. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. I want to emphasize I have never not shown up for an appointment all the years I have been a customer. In my conversations with local friends, I think many seaport residents fall into the same pattern of going back to this location due to proximity and convenience. However, they have all had the same experience of inconsistent quality and customer service.

Me time is very important. So right after my haircut, I then made an appointment for a manicure &…read morepedicure. Walking up and down Seaport Drive, I would always see this really cute nail salon and always wondered how nice it would be to just try them out one day. A well established business can be reflective on the way their restroom looks and also how clean it is. Winter's in Boston is freezing cold, one of the coldest temperatures I've ever been in, and I really needed to use the restroom before starting my hands and feet. But back to the services, it was excellent! Exceptionally clean facilities, well decorated shop, prices are reasonable too. As usual, the pedicure was done first, followed by the manicure. It seems that there is a nice flow of customers/clients who frequent the shop. There are more services available than nails. They also do brows and lashes. Besides walking out with clean hands and feet, you're always treated with a light hand and foot massage. I'll be sure to come back again in the future!

And although she couldn't see the vision of what I was going for, she nonetheless, did a very nice job and it still came out looking beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place! When I voiced my concern, the stylist decided to strip the toner and all color -- including my natural color from my hair. This completely removed all dimension and left my once-beautiful blonde hair orange and yellow. No professional stylist should ever resort to stripping color like this. A few glosses could have easily corrected the tone -- and that's exactly what a far more qualified salon did afterwards. To make matters worse, after seeing the damage, they still suggested I come back in for a highlight... as if further bleaching on already stripped hair wouldn't cause serious harm. Anyone with basic color knowledge knows that would completely DESTROY the hair. I didn't have time to cancel the appointment, and I was STILL CHARGED for the service that left my hair DAMAGED. I left with broken strands, lost years of carefully maintained color, and a completely compromised hair texture. Some of the stylists here clearly lack the experience needed for proper color treatment. PLEASE do yourself a favor and stay far away. This was disappointing, frustrating, and deeply upsetting.
