    Vegan margarita pizza
    Evelyn M.

I wanted to like this place so bad but everything was just not great. The pizza was not like Long Island pizza at all, it was under sauced and the crust was so thin and bad. Very friendly staff and I like how accommodating they are to vegans but unfortunately everything was just sub par. I ordered the vegan margarita, Buffalo cauliflower and zeppolies. The zeppolies had a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top, I'm used to having them rolled in tons of sugar.

    Vegan pasta da sole

Ordered for delivery thru the slice. The food was DELICIOUS ! We ordered the vegan pizzette with broccoli rabe and sausage and the pasta da sole with vegan sausage. The pizzette was so cheesy and cooked perfect. The pasta was light but full of flavor ! So happy this is right down the block from me will be ordering again soon!

    Everything vegan was clearly labeled

Unlike the Holbrook location though this one is not Mediterranean centered. They have different bowl options for you to make yourself with different proteins & toppings (see photos). While I haven't taken the opportunity to dine in yet I have tried a few of the frozen meal options which I'll review below: -Spicy Buffalo Wrap: 4/5 -Crispy Buffalo Wrap: 3.5/5 -Soho Steak Bowl:3.5/5 -Chicken & Jalapeño Quesadilla:4/5 -Spicy Chicken Flat/Wrap:3/5 I haven't been super impressed with any of the take away meals, BUT they are super convenient and seem to be relatively healthy. There's a large variety of things to try which is nice and they all have nutritional value and ingredients on the labels. The only thing I'll mention is that the heating instructions are the same for everything we've gotten so far and 2minutes on a wrap is much different than 2 minutes on a steak bowl. One of the wraps basically turned to a mushy mess. Overall I'm happy with the variety and convenience of getting meals here for a fair price. If they were more than $10 each I'd probably hesitate a bit but for what you're paying I think it's a good value.

That describes the last time I was at Nappi's Nook, over two years ago. Flash forward to this morning and we're looking at an update that shows a much different experience this time around. You see that first time at Nappi's was not long after they had opened. Kinks were definitely still being worked out and at the time, I just couldn't see it as a place worth choosing over other breakfast spots. But seeing reviews, awards, and that the place was still standing years later led my wife and I to come check them out again. This second time around we snagged a table (they definitely get crowded quickly) and had some very friendly service from our waitress. Things started with their Nappicinos which were a huge misfire that first time, but a definite improvement today. My wife got the Biscoff variety while I got the Peanut butter cup and boy were they tasty. A good balance of coffee and sweet flavors. Now when it came to food, last time I went with chicken and waffles which (from pics) still seemed like something I might enjoy more elsewhere and so instead, I landed on The Stove Top Skillet. This was a combo of onions, peppers, potatoes, sausage, cheese, and over easy eggs. It came out piping hot and it was honestly impressive in how it tasted. I liked the thinly sliced sausage coins and although the pepper pieces were a little massive, they were soft enough with everything mixing together nicely. As for the wife, she went with a special in the form of the hash omelette which was exactly as it sounded with Swiss cheese and paprika hollandaise sauce on top along with breakfast potatoes on the side. I tried it and it was pretty tasty as well. One last item we chose to order was a single beignet for $2.50 as a side option. Sometimes we're just not feeling a full sweet breakfast, but this little fried ball filled with chocolate did the trick. Was it comparable to Cafe Du Monde? No way, but it was still quality. Honestly, the whole meal was quality and definitely several steps up from that first round a few years back. The only true gripe I can give is the soundtrack to Nappi's. The music, a touch louder than one might think at 9 in the morning, was a little too trance/dance/club for the vibe of breakfast. Maybe on a Sunday for a boozy brunch, but perhaps some music changes would create a little more of a "Nook" feel. Perhaps? Overall though, I'm really very impressed and glad to have given Nappi's Nook a second shot. It may have taken some time for that to happen, but it showed that this place was the real deal because it was still around, and winning Best of LI awards in the meantime. Perhaps a place to get to on the earlier side, but for sure a location I know I will be returning to for round three much sooner than expected.

When the Spice Workshop opened a few years ago, we tried this restaurant. You can either eat in or take out. This establishment is a game changer! It's located in a small strip mall and has an unassuming presence. Once entering, everything quickly changes. You are greeted by a lovely staff member. The menu is incredible and may require a bit of time to order because of the extensive and diverse variety of cuisine. The food is served hot with large portions served carefully to meet your preferences - whether you dine in or take out. If this wasn't enough to convince the customer that this is the place, then the exceptional freshness, quality and taste of your order is incredible. No longer will we dine anywhere else. If you dine in, your water glass is refilled without you having to ask. The staff are very attentive to detail which is clearly reflected in the over sized portions, quality and cuisine. The interior of the restaurant is simple, inviting and you easily enjoy your meal in a leisurely manner. I'm conservative in my opinions. Recently, I invited a friend to dinner. I didn't expect to hear his compliments through his meal. He mentioned that he was overly impressed. If you're searching for a fabulous restaurant with a large menu and attention to your wishes, then Stop, Don't Pass Go and Reward Yourselves. You've found it! The servings are so generous that you're still be enjoying your meal the next night.

My wife and I were regular customers taking out up to twice weekly. Sometimes dining in. However, we liked a specific dish and tended to order it at least once per week. The last few times we got it, we were quite disappointed. My wife took the opportunity to say something the last time she went to pickup food there. Instead of they will address it, they told her that's what it is. The dish Chicken Scarpariello is supposed to have cut potatoes, sausage, chicken, onions, broccoli in a white wine sauce. One week they dump mashed potatoes in it another week they dropped an overcooked baked potato in it. Sad to say they think that's OK. They lost us as a customer when they said that's the way it's made. It never was before and should never be again. Of course, my wife picked up that day what was supposed to be their really good Chicken Parm. It was burnt, the sauce tasted bad and we threw it out. Not going back there until they fix the chef and their attitude.

Not their fault, but definitely a nod to that strip of somewhat vacant storefronts next door. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile by the woman behind the counter. There was no paper menu to read quietly on my own. I had to watch her use a remote to change the screens on the TV. She answered any questions I had but I found it a bit uncomfortable that she had to say "let me know when you're ready to see the next screen" in order to see the next page of menu items. The food... I did a create your own and it included 5 items and I added chicken and a few other "fresh ingredients". This was by far, not my favorite salad. The beets were crunchy strips. The broccoli was shredded crumbs. The lettuce had brown spots on it. The quinoa was cold and hard. The feta was good. The kalamata olives were good. The chicken was horrible. I'm used to a whole piece of grilled chicken, warm, juicy and cut up on my salads. This was a big container of chicken shredded up into small dued out bits. Everything was tossed for me and the somewhat creamy balsamic dressing was too briny. Thank goodness it was on the side. When I got home, I added my own avacado, tomatoes and dressing. It was dinner time. If you're going to serve this kind of food, it should be fresh all of the time or don't stay open that late, only to serve the last of what was put out in the morning. I gave one star for the kindness of the woman and one star for the idea. I want to support small business but $20 for a less than mediocre salad bowl is not worth returning.

The atmosphere is bright, relaxed, and filled with happy energy. Whether you're coming for a romantic dinner, a family meal, or just to treat yourself, this place hits the spot every single time. The service here is absolutely phenomenal. Everyone is so welcoming and genuinely cares about making your experience special. From the moment we sat down, our server was attentive, funny, and full of great recommendations. You can tell the staff works as a team and takes pride in what they do. Drinks arrived quickly, plates came out piping hot, and they checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without ever feeling rushed. It's that kind of service that makes you feel valued and keeps you coming back. Now, let's talk about the food, because wow. Every dish at Mykonos Greek is a flavor explosion of freshness and authenticity. The gyro platter is out of this world, loaded with perfectly seasoned meat, warm pita, and tzatziki so good you'll want to take a pint home.
