    Garlic BONELESS WINGS

Most of it was breading and just filled with oil had to pick around it to eat and ended up trashing it..man what a waste very disappointing .

We were searching everywhere for pizza, most places closed a little earlier than what online told us, assuming due to Covid. DP dough was open until 4am (it was only 9:30pm when we were searching). They have a ton of calzone types! I got one with broccoli, chicken and cheese. They're made fresh, so that's a plus. We also go wings and they were fall off the bones wings, I was pleasantly surprised!

I can't believe we have never been here. It's a great little spot for a calzone. We ordered online and our calzones were ready by the time we got here. We are headed to a movie at Mission Valley and stopped here for dinner first. The calzones were decent. Mine (spinach and cheese) could of used some black pepper but I was too lazy to get up and ask for some. The marinara sauce is good. Next time I will get an extra one. Hubby got the "Roni Zoni" which is basically a pepperoni pizza in a calzone. The crust is well baked and came out perfect. Our only complaint was .......NO BEER. Oh well, they cater to mostly students so I get that. Can't wait to come back and try another combination of yumminess. It was Tuesday and 2 for $10 calzones !! WOO HOO !!!!

Raleigh native here when I first moved out on my own this place was and still is one of my favorite 10.00 goto late nights! Late night brain food or tipsy night food this place always exceed my expectations in flavor. The service is amazing fast and prompt. Email is a nice estimate but please just stay by the door. When you pick up the ambiance is definitely college like. Happy care free yet hard working people who never look at weird when you decide to combine crazy ingredients! Highly recommend for a affordable nice time!

I love this place lol simple as that. I am not the biggest fan of ricotta cheese but I love calzones. Because I don't like ricotta cheese I've leaned more towards Stromboli's but this is legit the best of both worlds. Being able to make any combination I want is something I love about this place but being able to get a calzone, holds strong enough that you can pick it up and dip in your sauce and eat like that, toppings of your choice, different sauces and then on top of it all you can get yours sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasonings and have that baked all together ( hook it up). I have been here twice so far and it was almost a third but I don't want to eat my way out of loving this place. My next order I will try to make a breakfast dough, YES you can make a breakfast dough with eggs cheese bacon and things. This is a place who focused their traffic on folks who love to eat and I'm glad I found this place. This construction zone I got had mozz cheese, bacon, spinach, onions, tried the stinging honey garlic sauce which was really good I think I'll get that as a dipping sauce next time so I can control the wetness of my food since that costs more like a teriyaki sauce. Endless options and endless combinations at this place and my goal for every pizza spot that allows combinations is to always get a combination on the menu that they'll let me name. Until then I will keep working on my combinations and keep letting you guys know which are really good. This is a good one though so if you like a nice sweet heat give this a try.

Three in the morning. You're craving some food and don't feel like driving anywhere or nuking anything in the microwave. Not many options available for delivery at that hour; but now there's a new one, at least if you live near the NC State Campus: D.P. Dough, a chain whose specialty is Calzones DP Dough has Calzones. Lots of them. All at one price, although for a bit more, if you can't find one with the right combination of fillings, you can add extra items for a bit more. There's even a larger size available, but again, the larger ones are all at one price, too. Each is served with a sauce for dunking. You can choose from a basic classic, veggie, chicken, beef, pork and then check the menu for various fillings included with the main choice. It's a good alternative to pizza or burgers but if you're getting takeout, call ahead since it takes about 10-15 minutes to prepare. I've been here twice, both times for lunch, and it really does help to call first if you're crunched for time. The Italian and the buffalo calzones are okay and very filling. You won't leave hungry. It's decent food, reasonably priced, and since the menu says they deliver until "at least" 3 a.m. you won't need to be hungry on the way back from your night of revelry. They don't have their sign outside, yet, but if you can find the movie theater and cup-of-joe, you'll find DP Dough next door.

    Menu... lots of choices!

Made to order calzones. We got the Parmesan chicken to share and it was a good portion for 2 people. If it weren't a late night snack I might have wanted an appetizer or salad to go with it. The dough was chewy and crispy all the way through. The filling was oozing out. It came with some marinara on the side which made the calzone less wet and easy to dip and eat. There are so many combinations I want to try!

The chef was very kind and made us a little extra for lunch- such a great guy! Thank you for always making your food with a lot of love and care. The rigatoni alla vodka is still to die for and I haven't found another place that comes close to it in Raleigh or Charlotte. Encourage everyone to support this local, small business!!! The food is awesome here!!! They also have more budget friendly lunch options too- just give them a call.

The restaurant is nice and dimly lit with plenty of seating, but you will have to find street parking around Glenwood. We were a party of 6 and they pulled together tables to accommodate us. Our server was a little slow but still friendly. For starters we got a Margherita pizza, calamari, the grilled caesar, and they brought us a complimentary bread basket with oil. Everything except the caesar was good. I guess we didn't expect the caesar to taste THAT charred and the lettuce to not be chopped. For main entrees, we ordered lasagna, lobster ravioli, penne alla vodka, and alfredo. The vodka pasta and lasagna were unflavored and disliked among the table. I would not recommend those dishes. The alfredo was okay. The best dish was the lobster ravioli.

I've also been to the Durham location, check out the review if you want to know more. Panysaurus over all is a very cool place (either location) but they have drastically different vibes - which in my book is a good thing. The Raleigh location has a smaller footprint and doesn't have the same outdoor patio vibe. The dinning area is a bit small but turn around is quick and there is plenty of space to stand and socialize if you're just there for the beer. I really love Ponysaurus beer, their pilsner is nice but their kolsch is my favorite. The Raleigh location menu has lots to choose from, we had a margarita pizza with pepperoni, hummus and wings. I can't recall what was in the hummus but we practically licked the bowl and the wings were a big hit too - note the Durham menu is a bit scaled down but one thing that's consistent with both locations is the amount of pita that came with the hummus. There is nothing worse than getting a huge bowl of hummus and only a few pieces of hummus or chips. Both locations knocked it out of the park - plenty of WARM pita for everyone. Service was great, we did't wait long and the tables were turned over quickly. They use a mobile app for ordering food which makes ordering fast and efficient and the food is delivered to your table - which I must note came out very fast.

I like it there overall but I'm definitely not a fan of the thunder-dome cut throat atmosphere of the "seat yourself" first come first serve...just make a wait list, takes 3 seconds

Once upon a time, this place wasn't just a pizza restaurant--it was a pilgrimage site. People…read morewhispered about its crust like it was sacred text, and its awards lined the walls like a shrine to melted cheese and triumph. "Best Pizza" many years running back when that actually meant something. Now? It feels less like a restaurant and more like a nostalgic reenactment gone very wrong. The menu still reads like a dream--Carolina crust this, atomic sauce that--but ordering has become a real exercise in imagination. Half the ingredients are apparently on a spiritual journey and no longer physically present. You'll ask for sharp cheddar and get a thoughtful pause, followed by, "We don't have sharp cheddar, we might have a Wisconsin sharp cheddar?" --which, to their credit, has the word "cheddar" in it. The staff move with the energy of a group project that everyone forgot was due today. Pizzas emerge... interpretively. You might order a margherita and receive something that captures its essence, emotionally, if not structurally. It's less "wrong order" and more "pizza as a suggestion." A master of creative problem-solving, this cashier has boldly redefined the concept of "making change." Why fumble with buttons and math when you can simply hand over two beers and call it even? It's less of a transaction and more of a surprise gift exchange--one where the rules are unclear and the outcome is mildly concerning. And the wine list--oh, the wine list--is a beautiful historical document. A relic. A time capsule from at least six months ago, when bottles still existed and hope flowed freely. Now, asking for wine feels like asking about a long-lost friend. "We don't have that," they'll say, gazing into the middle distance. Still, there's something oddly annoying about it all. Like walking into a once-revered theater that still clings to its golden-age reputation. The performances feel like echoes rather than art, the lighting flat where it once dazzled, and every scene drags with the weight of trying to live up to a forgotten past. It's not bad enough to be a disaster--just disappointing enough to make you wonder if the hype was ever real or if you're just eating the ghost of someone else's great experience. Cheers!
