We stopped by DP Dough for lunch today. It definitely has that college hang out kinda vibe. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food tho. Calzones are pretty much what they do. I had the Italian - mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, pepperoni, ham, salami. It was quite large and nicely stuffed and more than I could finish. It came with a marina dipping sauce. All in all, it was a very good. My co-worker had the Roni-N-Shrooms- pepperoni, mushrooms, mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan. She enjoyed it and has enough for lunch tomorrow. We shared the waffle fries. I got a "work zone" and "buffer zone" calzone, both were very good and I have no complaints other than the fact that every calzone comes with marinara sauce which I think is kind of inappropriate for certain ones especially the Buffalo calzone I ordered, other calzone joints I've been too will include a more appropriate sauce such as blue cheese which you would need to pay extra to have here. You have the option to build your own, but I wanted to get a signature calzone the first time I tried it. I got the philly steak calzone, which is just a cheesesteak in calzone form, and my girlfriend got the Italian. They come with a sizable side of marinera. The food was good! Made hot and fresh when you order, they're rather creative calzones. I added a couple of extra toppings in mine. The thing that I was very impressed with most, however, was the staff. The cashiers were extremely knowledgeable. I asked quite a few questions, and not a single one stumped them. Beyond that, they were very polite and helpful. It's really rare that you find a business that has staff like that, especially in the food industry. Some restaurants, at best, have staff that aren't even memorable, and, at worst, you remember for all the wrong reasons. Definitely coming here again and would recommend to others. read more

SO SO UPSET! LOVE this place and their calzones, but my experience with customer service the last time i ordered was absolutely ridiculous. We ordered at 11:15 and did not get our food delivered to us until 1AM. The promised time on the website was 12:10AM. When I spoke to both an employee and a manager on the phone i was taken aback by their rude demeanor. I politely requested a refund on my order/part of my order/some sort of compensation for the inconvenience and was faced with both a condescending and aggressive response. I understand that things happen, times are pushed back; however we waited 2 hours for our food that was cold, and the manager did NOTHING to compensate for this fact. In every world we know that the customer is right, and for me to handle this situation with such politeness and decency regardless of my frustration makes it even more appalling that the staff chose to treat me this way. Went there for a late pick up last night. Ordered the buffalo chicken calzone. The wait time was a little long, but they seemed busy so that's understandable. The calzone cane out very hot and crispy, which I specifically asked for. The chicken and cheese were really good with the crispy bread. Who thought picking a Cal-zone would be so difficult? Go here and you'll see why. They have about any type of cal-zone you can think of. (They should do a cal-zone club and if you eat every cal-zone you get a shirt or something similar to what flying saucer does with beer just with cal-zones of course). Also I live nearby so it's one of the few places I can get delivery from. My wife got the Chicken Fajita and I got the combo cal-zone. Both were AMAZING and now they have more than just marina for dipping sauces. Oh yeah and we got the cheesecake cal-zone for dessert and it was off the chain. It is for sure worth a try. I love DP dough and I have since I had it about 6 months ago. My boyfriend and I both love DP dough especially since they are open until 4 in the morning! DP dough never fails to get my order right and if they have a question about my order they will call me back and ask. Which I think is lovely. The drivers are always nice (especially when tipped) and its a really nice place if you're in the mood for bar food or pizza. Also they have code red mountain dew. I prefer to have it delivered but its pretty cool inside too. As a resident artist I am glad to see they have artwork for sale by artist on the wall. :) I love DP dough!! read more

Unfortunately I am a vegetarian and their vegetables are not very fresh or tastey. This is a great late night place. When it's 3am and my roommates and I are starving, this is our go-to place to chill. As a vegetarian, it can be limiting, but I am very fond of the mac & cheese calzone, I love the macaroni inside the nice delicious dough!
