I don't think the fish was really Catfish. But maybe it was. It just did not taste like Catfish.

Order 5 catfish filets for $12.99. Great price for the fillets, seasoned, and fresh, but they were super thin. So thin that it seemed like they may have cut a fillet in half or the pieces were flattened. Definitely more breading than meat. Some parts of the fillet were just breading... no meat. There is no way that that is catfish. It tasted kinda fishy as well. I haven't tasted the chicken, but I do not recommend this place for fish. You will be disappointed. read more

Tried this place this weekend and was very disappointed. The chicken is made fresh but seriously way too greasy I don't think he let the chicken drain off the excess oil at all. The mashed potatoes had to be the worst potatoes ever. My kids even said they tasted like cardboard. Definitely not going back. I was driving around with my wife and I was so hungry. As always couldn't pick what I wanted to eat so I opened up the yelp app to see what was around. This place happened to pop up. Not too many pictures of the food and only one review, so it's hard to make a choice when you are super hungry. We all know when you are super hungry you don't want to waste that hunger on bad food. Lucky for me I made the right choice. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, more like a corner store. As you walk in you see plenty of tables and the set up it's a little weird but it works. They have 2 TVs where the tables are at so you can enjoy different shows which is a bit weird for a small place to have 2 TVs, but I guess they are doing good. They have plenty of drinks to choose from- Mexican sodas to snapple teas and everything in between. At the back of the restaurant is the kitchen and the register where you get to place your order. Let's get to the food. They have plenty of combos to pick from- some have chicken strips, catfish, fried chicken and shrimp. Portions are good and the prices are even better!! You can get a 5 piece chicken strip combo with 2 sides and a drink for under $7. I had the 2 piece white meat and mash potatoes with brown gravy and fries. My plate also had a roll and a jalapeño. My wife got the 6 pice shrimp combo, mash potatoes with white gravy and fries. I believe the total was around $12 or so. The chicken was fresh and super juicy, the flavor was regular nothing too special but good. The shrimp were huge, a lot of batter but shrimp were still a good size, mash potatoes nothing special but good. The fries were nice and brown, well done like I love. The rolls were those little Hawaiian rolls- great little side. I would definitely come back to this little hole in the wall place to try some other goodies. read more

Tried it for first time today. Got 2 meals and it is so much food you could easily feed 4. Chicken is terrific,not greasy. Good slaw and mashed potatoes and fries. Tried this the other night for the first time after reading the reviews. I must say...the chicken is legit. We got two of their combos, the 3 piece mix and the tenders. Man it was all good, from the mashed potatoes and gravy to the corn on the cob. Their rolls are good too. My only issue and I'm sure will continue to be an issue, the more popular this place gets, is the wait time. They seem under staffed and although, it's a good thing, they seem to cook their chicken to order. I'm not sure if that's standard but they did the night I went, for every customer.
